Glauco asked Circe for help, but she fell in love with him and gave the boy a potion that modifies the body. Scylla's body turned into something monstrous due to circumstances beyond her control and she had to flee to a cave, from which she could not leave. And now the only way to feed himself is by eating the sailors who pass by his cave. She can't eat anything else because she can't get out of there. Scylla wasn't a monster, she was good. But she had to throw away her honor and everything she believed in to survive.
@DarthEdgyBoy I will give you a short version, so basically, in some myths, Scylla wasn't a monster. She was a beautiful nymph and because of that lots of people wanted her. One guy in particular loved her so much, but she didn't want him. He then went to Circe to get help to try and make Scylla fall in love with him. She did help him, but eventually, Circe started to fall in love with the man. She told him, but he only wanted Scylla. Because of this, Circe cursed Scylla by turning her into an ugly monster with multiple heads that no one would love. (I might have gotten a few details wrong but that's pretty much it)
