Really drawn to it when I first sampled it. The metallic note, while not overdone, was still immediately noticeable to me, appealing, and gave it a different note from my other colognes.
This fragrance has been my favorite for a year , I got a 2018 batch that is absolute 🔥. It literally boosts my mood when I spray it. It reminds me of a fragrance that James Bond would wear. Shower, shave, put on a fresh pressed suit and apply 6 sprays of carbon. You will turn heads for sure.
Would people confuse this with sauvage when you have it on your skin?

I tested the line and purchase Luna Rosa .. just seems like the perfect scent ,, The Flankers are great but that original scent is the one I like as a signature everyday scent
I actually prefer it over Dior Sauvage as well. In fact I caught onto this Frangrance at work one of my coworkers had it on & I had to ask what dude was wearing & it was in fact Prada Luna Rosa. Ever since I bought a bottle I never went back same compliments & performance you would get from sauvage but I prefer this scent even more.
It's way more addictive as a scent, but it lacks projection and performance of Sauvage.

While see the slight similarities to Sauvage, (Which I happen to like a lot) it takes that DNA and really goes it's own direction with it. I may be alone with this opinion/comparison, but it's almost like Le Male' and Sauvage fused into one. I say Le Male' because it's also super lavender heavy.
This is one of the few fragrances which, after spraying it on my wrist, I had to keep smelling my own wrist because it was so good. And that's saying a lot given that I own the entire Sauvage line. For me it's Luna Rossa Carbon = Dior Sauvage EDP > the rest

A good key 2 making it last long is.... find you a good oil person who makes good fragrance oils and layer it together with the actual fragrance. I've smelled it on my clothes a week later while doing laundry

I just blind-buy bought this.....OMG!!!!!!! This stuff is wonderful. But I also have L'homme. Prada has this "classiness" about them that just can't be denied. They always seem more "balanced" than their competition....again JUST PLAIN CLASSY!!!!!

@@1giane Luna Rossa Carbon. Prada L'homme is more on a "business" or professional/dressy level. Prada LRC seems to be more sporty/casual to me.
Now that you’ve calmed down I have to tell you that performance with this one is disappointing at only 4-5 hours.
I prefer this smell over sauvage although I need to give a credit for sauvage for better longevity and projection even they are very similar(so they have similar ingridients) so even if its cheaper than sauvage I need to use more sprays with Carbon...
It’s long lasting to me I get a good 6-8 hours. You are correct that it doesn’t project the same but to me that’s a good thing because you don’t want to be too aggressive and try hard. I’d rather have someone discover it when they come close to me vs noticing 10 feet away. I guess it depends on your personality/what situation you are using it for as well.

You know when I got carbon, I thought to myself that it smells just like savauge, but smoother and less potentent as savuage.
I wouldn’t label this a cheap fragrance, it’s more midrange price. To me cheap is $40 or less, but regardless, this is totally worth $50-60. beautiful fragrance actually👌🏽 if you like the Dior Sauvage dna 🧬 but it’s just too loud for you, then this is your best bet right here 💯
I got it because I loved a sample I had, I got the full bottle and it was my favourite fragrance for some time but after a couple months it’s lost almost all of its scent (kept it in a cool dark place). It only lasts half an hour or so and does not project. The smell itself is really good tho, just wish it was stronger and lasted longer.
Just bought it from the mall the other day. My first day with it on, I received a compliment and a bunch of head turns. That was like 4 to 5 hours after spraying.carbon is my new go to.

@@catex5452 On my skin, I usually have to spray more. I sprayed about 6x. Once on each wrist, the bend of my arms, the front of my neck and back. I did it early in the day so it wouldn’t be too loud.

Interesting , this was one I passed on at Nordstrom but regardless it still smelled good! Was just expecting something else !
I tested it first in a shop on Canary Islands and I than later I was always sniffing when I got the chance at airports. I really began to like this I don't know why because at this point I already owned Sauvage AND Bleu de Chanel which are maybe the two best blue fragrances. Later I didn't used to much the Carbon and bottle was waiting long time ago. Now I put on again and it smells fantastic. But the smell is quite similar to the Sauvage at top note. But there is something more clean, I think the lavender is stronger and something like soap. Lavender soap with little bit of pepper and blue notes. I think even little bit of Aventus vibes???😮 Sophisticated clean Prada Aventus 😅

I finally tried it and was not prepared for the amount of lavender in the opening
I just tried it on a tester strip at the store. Out of the bottle it is a 9/10, but after some short minutes, it dried down to an overly soapy smell 7/10. Almost a win for me, but no cigar 😢
I love carbon and l'homme from Prada.. but i wonder what will happen with all the Prada fragrances now that Loreal taking over. probably gonna shit all over them :( Puig did great with the Prada fragrances imo
had one 100ml bottle which I emptied 1 year ago than I bought a dylan blue it was quite good but now I just ordered another bottle of carbon which I liked more than dylan blue. Dylan blue for some reason did not last as much on my skin as carbon, carbon just smelled better for me aswell

I dont like that ambroxan in the dry down when i wear it., if you leave a tissue in the room with a few sprays on it, this smells pretty solid.
Those Luna Rossa atomizers throw out a lot of juice. I’ve gone through a 100ml and I’m about 2/3 through a 5oz with another 5oz waiting as backup. I go through this stuff.

I blind bought this and wood neroli and they’re both just meh to me. Luna rossa line smells like soap and neroli doesn’t do much for me.

After 6 hours with Dylan Blue, I received Prada Luna Rossa Carbon in the mail and so I decided to try it because I was a bit curious... man this layering rocks.
What does layering mean, do you wear both at the same time???

This is drier and earthier, Sauvage EDP is sweeter and smoother, warmer.

I had the same question, i now own both, id say Carbon is for day and Savauge EDP is great for nightwear; id prefer the Carbon cause personally i feel there are better choices for nights, but Savauge EDP is def nice too

This fragrance is also good on girl. It's the best everywhere everytime perfume for me, a lot better than Dior sauvage. I had done my second one already and will buy the third. But so sad that it's not really last long. It stay for only about 4 hrs.

How would you compare Prada Luna Rossa Carbon to Prada Luna Rossa to Prada Amber Pour Homme to Prada L'homme?
i have prada luna rossa and carbon. carbon smells better than the original, and gets you more compliment. luna rossa is nice but doesnt perform that well, its more of an intimate /office safe scent

I mean it's an ok scent but doesn't hold a candle to Sauvage. Carbon is basically Sauvage pour femme, so if you want to smell feminine get Carbon. If you want a masculine scent get Sauvage.

Looking at around 4-5 hours of performance out of this one. If I have one disappointment with LCR it’s that. If you’re looking for performance you should reach for Sauvage.
I got mine december 2021 and I tried it once I got it. And love the smell then laid down and went to sleep. When I woke up it was still pretty strong that was about 7 hours on me. Oh and I sprayed it on my pillow lasted about 2 days.

I fell in love with this after smelling it on a very butch female client I used to massage. I asked her what it was and decided to buy it for my ex. He ended up loving it so much that he started wearing it as his signature. While my ex is no longer in my life, I recently started craving this. I just bought it online for myself.
