You hit it with Zino. I love that cologne! I discovered it in the late 90’s, it has a very distinct smell and lasts a long time for such an inexpensive fragrance. I don’t own it anymore as I like to keep up with the times and wear stuff that’s a little more higher end. I may have to revisit it. I wasn’t even sure if it was still. in production. Great video btw.

The cheapest clone that I had ever bought for myself was gravity cologne for men.
Gravity doesn't have a strong smell and it does not have a weak smell. it's just right. I always got two bottles in a gift box set and it only cost probably $18.00. now back in the day you only could get them at Kmart when they were open, I've been getting gravity cloned since I was 13 years old.
Since Kmarts closed it's hard to get it now. The last time I bought a bottle of gravity clone from Kmart was back in 97. Great review great and great video.

Nice video. As a "spoiled" user (my gf manages a shop) i was wondering if you would come up with Zino. I use it since the eighties and still love it. You can buy it with discount for about 25 euro these days. (Netherlands) An all time classic which i appreciate greatly till this day.
can you check please Al Haramain Detour Noir? People say its perfect clone of PdM Layton and really cheap. To your todays list i would add Armaf Tres Nuit, to me it smells the same good if not even better then Creed GIT.
Vesace pour homme will always be in my collection. It was my go to in college. I blind bought dunhill icon and hated it. I returned it.

Came across your channel a month ago, I'm 52 a little old someone says. hehe, You have a fabulous nose that I like, nowadays everyone uses everything as if everything is for anyone if you understand is litle strange fore me, in try to use Perfume that suits my age. can I ask you to make a perfume for ages 40-50 + can be used 24/7 All year round?
Mercedes Club Black, whilst not a designer, is as good as $300 fragrances and better than most.
i think it is a designer. i think if you only make fragrances, than you are considered niche. if you make fragrances and other things, then you are a designer.

I love Lalique Encre Noire but I can't wear it. I kind of react to it a little bit. I wonder if other people have the same issue.
The bentley colognes are really good for the price, I love black and intense. Crazy good for $30. Halloween man x gets an honorable mention, outstanding frags.

People will hate on Bentley Intense because it’s not their style/taste & it’s not mine either. However, it’s actually a very well made fragrance for the price. I believe it caters to a more mature audience though 40yrs+
I can give it credit that is a good smelling fragrance with quality, even though im not a fan of it.
Lalique Encre Noire was the only cologne I bought on a blind buy and put in the trash the following day. I know it gets a lot of hype but it smells like damp pencil shavings and something rotten to me. Some people have gone as far to say it smells like death. LOL I could not think of any occasion or reason I would want to smell like that. I do really like Lalique's Hommage a L'Homme and Equus, so I respect them as a brand (I think they were founded in 1888!). Just that particular scent is not for me. Bentley For Men Intense I love and have received complements. Can still smell on cloths the next morning. Eternal longevity. Versace Pour Homme I've enjoyed this summer but I get more excited to wear Dreamer, as it has a beautiful scent that last all day on me and isn't too light or too strong- hits that perfect balance. The others I haven't tried yet. I need to get my hands on Dunhill Icon next!
The "rotten" smell could be the ink. I think encre noir is an awesome fragrance but not for everyone. It doesn´t smell like death it smells more like pencil shavings, ink and smoke and incense. You have to be the right person for this scent to wear it. I also think some people have to smell it more often to like it

Yes, it smells unique.
However i notice it does resemble Zadig & Voltaire this is him EDT.
i am not trying to say that both smell the same, but they definitely has the same vibe.
(But to me) Dunhill icon is much superior.
if i can add/replace to the list, i'll choose Mercedes Benz Club Black since i think it is a better version of Halloween Man X.
love this is him, but it gets so little love.
funny hearing that it is very similar to icon. in my opinion, it is also extremely similar to nuit d'issey parfum. both of them share notes of vanilla, pepper, and grapefruit, but one is leather/patchouli (issey) and the other is sandalwood/incense (this is him). sound pretty different but I reckon you could easily trick normal people into thinking that they are the same fragrance.

Because of my curiosity, i referred ICON and THIS IS HIM at FRAGRANTICA and both do resembles in terms of smell, but not the notes.
and it is also funny how u said "love this is him" because underneath its cap,

Kind of off topic, but I got a wedding to go to this Saturday and I can’t decide what fragrance to wear. I’m debating on wearing either Dior Sauvage Very Cool spray, Givenchy Gentleman Cologne, or Bvlgari Aqva Atlantique. It’s going to be an outdoor wedding and it’s supposed to be 90° that day 😂 what y’all think? Witch one should I go with?

I acquired Bentley Intense due to the much hype; however, to me it smells like sawdust literally, consequently I rarely, if ever, wear it.
Me too. based on Jeremy fragrence saying how good this was. So I bought it. I literally almost threw up. That scent was nasty. I got rid off it 2 days later.

The problem with Encre Noir is there's very occasions it can be worn, despite its high quality. Also, it is not at all sexy or seductive, if that's important for the wearer. It's the exact same for BMI. You can only marvel at it in your bathroom or at a formal ball.

I’m not a fragrance snob but I’m not a fan of Halloween Man X. I’m going to give it some more wear this fall and winter. Hopefully it will change my mind but based on how I felt last winter I don’t see why it’s hyped so much.
I agree, I bought this in the spring have been wearing on & off in hopes my opinion changes. I just get wofts of dusty coffee all throughout my day…

I never get a church type smell for Bentley. Just rich rum, some woods and then a smooth leather type of accord.

Oh yes I can hate Bentley Intense. It smells like Bentley took some rubber from one of its car tires, tossed a bit of rum and spices on it, and shoved it in a bottle. Uggggh what a nasty scent. And I love a ton of cheap scents, so I'm not hating because it's cheap - it's just a terrible scent.

I… unfortunately can’t stand Halloween man x. I’m pretty picky about coffee scents and that one just smells so stale off my skin. I ended up giving that one as well as Bentley Intense away - the Bentley was just way too overwhelming and would choke people around me out after just two sprays. Maybe it’s just personal taste, but I didn’t enjoy either of those very much at all

So--"masculine" is really a marketing ploy, and (imho) needs to be dropped from describing fragrances. I think if you decanted Bentley Intense (yeah, the unfortunately labeled "for men") into a niche style bottle, it would be described as a lovely, spicy amber/oriental--and it would be $100+. I'm a woman. I wear it. It's a FANTASTIC amber.
Don't get excited and go blind buy Bentley for men intense, sample sample sample!
