Thats why eating extremely spicy ramen challenges will always be worse than drinking hot sauce that room temp. The temperature of the oils and sauces really drive up how badly the spiciness affect you. I die when I try hot currys and ramen, but I could drink a sauce all day long.
yes so true- I think that the pain receptors in your mouth cant differentiate between spicy heat and actual heat- so the two factors combine for a total effect. Similarly, when trying to extinguish a burn- the colder the glass of milk, the more effective it will be.

I was eating those and felt I could take more heat but not sure where to go. Now I’ve been hooked watching all the different kinds of sauces. brian richards I would say go to the First We Feast channel and watch some of the Hot Ones interviews. The various sauces they use increase in intensity as the interview goes on. Probably give you a good idea for some sauces to try in addition to what you see on this channel of course. Obviously here he takes it to levels others could only imagine.

I'd like to see a homemade one chip challenge by Johnny. A tortilla chip with pure evil covered in some superhot powder. Followed by another layer of extract and another layer of powder to top it off. It must be hard trying to push the bar when you are the bar itself!
Boil your ramen in a pot and add a reaper or two. I usually add some butter, beef bouillon, mushroom seasoning and a little chipotle powder. The point is, boiling the noodles with the peppers is very effective and delicious!
I get these really good noodles with like 5 different packs of seasons and seasoning oils. I love them. They come hot and spicy, but id like to kick them up a notch.
