Swan AMI Silitrace and Swan AMI Silitrace Ultra - Preparation of reagents
For the photometric measurement of the silica concentration in the ppb range with AMI Silitrace and in the ppt range with AMI Silitrace Ultra, a chemical reaction is evaluated after the addition of the necessary reagents. Each of these four high-quality reagents is diluted to 2 liters of solution for this purpose.
The quality and concentration of the reagents are important for the flawless functioning of the measuring instrument. The preparation of the reagents must therefore be carried out with care and exactly according to the instructions.
Materials and Tools:
The following reagent kit is available for preparing the reagents for AMI Silitrace and AMI Silitrace Ultra:

- Disposable gloves
- Safety goggles
Recommendation:
After replacing the reagents, perform the following operations:
- Zero point determination
- Standard calibration
- Background determination (only for Ami Silitrace Ultra)
