Hi there,as per my other posts, I've just discovered this on RUclips and didn't realize it was out there- I have the original film on a VHSC tape, filmed on a Panasonic HiFi VHSC camcorder.Very tough gig to film-almost impossible at the time-check the story around it for those music nuts like me-it was a moment in time & just lucky to capture the moment with Dave on camera. It's not perfect but it's history now- for all to enjoy-the best version out there other than the original!!

Dave Grohl has mentioned many times that he’s a self-taught drummer. I just don’t understand how he has a technique which is so flawless and bombastic at the same time. It’s incredible.
Countless Nirvana shows ive watched he never broke a stick, here he breaks 2 at least. Probaly 5a jazz or something thin. At 4:40 he absolutely kicks the band into overdrive with that fill. #ROCK N GROHL 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁

Dave Grohl was our neighbor when he owned gis beach house here in ventura county and i tell you dave and his family were the nicest people and best neighbors, we miss them! Seeing him play with my fsvorite band is freaking awesome! Keep on rocking in the free world, everyone😁👍
As a drummer I never get sick of this, Grohl doesn't play the drums he becomes them. He's the American version of Bonham & Moon in one. What a heavy foot he's got . 👍🏼
Im almost 99.8% certain i was there. Think it was a Thursday night at Rod Laver Arena. My best mate Kempy, his girlfriend Suzie B, Sarah the exchange student from Sweden, and myself. We travelled down to Melbourne from Shepparton. Absolutely lost my mind when Eddie introduced Dave 😂
Just read that this was Dave Grohl's first concert performance after Cobain's death. Very cool of the band to invite him to play and it must have been very cathartic for Dave.
I think his first performance post Nirvana was a live concert with the Backbeat supergroup (around June 1994), then he played with Tom Petty in Snl in that year. Early 1995 he was playing the first gigs of Foo Fighters. However this concert somehow was the first one in a venue the size Nirvana played their last gigs in the previous year.
Breaks a stick at 3:12 and doesn't even phase him. Like Dave Grohl would be one of my first picks today for a drummer, you know you can trust him behind that kit because he is so solid, loud and his timing is impeccable.

I was at this concert and have the entire thing on a dual CD that was recorded by Triple J (National youth radio network). This was the last song of the night and because the show ends halfway through the second CD, they put about another half dozen bootleg/covers from elsewhere on it.
I like Grohl and this was neat...but, don't ever discredit Matt Cameron, he plays the drums for two of the BIGGEST bands in the world..Both of them just came out with new albums and Cameron plays the drums in ALL of those tracks
They’re both pretty dope. Matt n Pat Smear need to do something together…their combine involvement in most of the rock music that made the late 80s and 90s awesome is incomparable and truly legendary.

None of Pearl Jam’s drummers have ever come close to replicating Irons’ wall of sound.
Never equaled again onstage for this band. They never sounded better before nor after 1995.
