Great looking Eldorado. I would highly recommend that you wear both the lap and shoulder belts. In the early 70s I had my grandfather's 1970 Buick 2 door Electra to drive. After about a week of driving it I buckled up the separate lap and shoulder belts one night, mainly out of curiosity. I was amazed at how much better the car drove and handled with the belts buckled, not to mention the obvious safety aspect of buckling up. All of my friends thought I was nuts for buckling up and I was usually the only one in the car with the belts buckled. It was automatic to put the belts on when I drove. Late one night in 1979, my senior year in college, I had left my part time waiter job headed home. A couple of miles from home, a drunk driver in a Chevrolet suburban crossed the center line and hit me head on. Because of the size and quality of the Electra and the fact that I was wearing both belts, I walked away with only bruises from the belts and minor cuts and scratches. This was far better than the unbelted drunk driver who had massive head and chest injuries from the steering wheel. Be safe and enjoy the Eldorado.

I absolutely loved the 1967-1970 Eldorado’s. I remember when they came out and I was 10 years old. They were absolutely unique.

They are some of the best looking cars ever made.

She's beautiful and has quite a proud stance. I pulled a 500 from a rusted out 70 Eldo and dropped in my 1981 Fleetwood Couple, she's a little faster than the 368 V8-6-4 I yanked out 🙂

Always loved the looks of the Eldorado and Olds Toronado.
_Art on Wheels?_ I certainly agree. The closest I ever had to that was a '69 Sedan DeVille (with the same accoutrements) and a 2 dr '72 Olds Delta 88 Royale. BOTH had vinyl tops too.

Cadillac and Oldsmobile made the best looking vehicles. At least in the 70s and back.

Beautiful, looking at one exactly the same color. How is it holding up and any recommendations on the mechanical stuff asides from the timing belt?

Cars doing great. Mostly just regular old car maintenance stuff. But I'd change the cv shafts if they haven't been already.

Thank you for not putting ridiculous music over this. I enjoy your honest assessment of it, I've had a few love/hate relationships with cars myself. Most of all thank you for no unnecessary selfies. I hate videos where the guy thinks it's more important to have his face on the screen than the car. Thumbs up. I wish you luck with it. One thing tho... raised white letters on a Caddy??? Please tell me you bought it that way and you didn't do it.👍

I like the white letters, gives it a nice muscle look. Thanks for watching.

So I was correct on the years of the Eldorado, and the Ford Truck, and guessed 66,or 7 on the Cutlass, not to bad.
