- On this video we dive into the new 2023 Bowtech Bows. We have customers and staff shoot the bows to tell us their honest thoughts on them. At the end we will be shooting the bows in the Comfort and Performance settings to see how that stack up to their IBO Speeds.

I started archery during the Corona period, and couldn't find a left bow anywhere!
I found a used hoyt splash on second hand and then discovered how difficult it is to tune it without the help of a pro bow shop.
That's why I chose the SS34, no left bow could be tested in Europe from any brand!
So I ordered it and am very happy with my decision!
I recommend that the pro shops have more left-handed bows for testing in their shop, you are excluding many left-handed shooters or shooters with a left dominant eye.
I hope you review this arc again after a few months
Great video, something different. Keep it up. Love it.
This was a good video. I really don't see the appeal of the Carbon One if it has slower speed, more vibration, same weight as the aluminum bow, and way more money.
Elite did the same thing. The Omnia is 32-6 and 340 IBO. I can’t understand why they didn’t make their carbon bow in those dimensions and bring up the speed. If it wasn’t for that I’d be trading in my VXR for it. But they dropped the ball in my opinion.
I’m already tired of seeing 340 IBO when we know that bows are capable of more. I think they’re afraid that ppl won’t be willing to pull them back. I’ve tested a 90lb APA and it wasn’t that unreasonable. I just don’t like their bows.
@@voxpopuli905 first of all its 347 ibo for the omnia. And the carbon Era is 336. Same exact cam. Just 6 icj brace height on the omnia and 7 1/4 on the era. The elite era just got an award for best bow of the year from outdoor life. They teates every new bow this year.
@@michaelbushey2787 yeah I’m aware. It’s public information 🙄 and I don’t give a shit what a magazine says btw. They’re recommendations don’t make it magically become faster. 336 is 336 no matter if the United Nations says it’s Bow of the year. It’s irrelevant
Spend more then add two pound to stabilize it.
I liked the customer concept. What I’d really like to know is what bow are they shooting now and if they were buying again would they stick with what they have or buy one of these
I just watched your videw as well as Mike's Archery's reveiw on the SS34. He used the same specs as you did, and his speed were 25 fps faster than yours. Not sure where the discrepancy is, but his #s were dead on the IBO rating
This is the only video I’ve seen on the ss34 with numbers this low. Something isn’t right with these numbers. Mine is shooting 3 fps under IBO on performance. 11 fps under IBO on comfort😮
After rewatching the video……. That SS34 is out of time! I can hear it as well. When those bows are all in time, that SS34 is smoother than the cp30 by a good margin. Very similar feels between the SS and carbon 1. The draw on the SS34 is smoother than the cp and C1
I bought a used SR6 after my shop assured me it was a quality bow. Nothing but issues and finally gave it back to the shop after it derailed in my face
I would definitely double check everything on that carbon because I haven't seen any other carbons running slower than the co 30
geez the guy really torques his grip
Draw length will affect the speed of every bow in its own way, bring in someone who can shoot these bows at max draw length and see the difference maybe.
Yep
I miss the Realm SR6. That was my favorite bowtech
It's more of interesting speed numbers on the CP30, I think this bow is faster than people realize
Please check the weight on the carbon one. I have tested these back to back several times and the carbon one is always faster than the cp30 apples to apples.
really twisted/spun Carbon one on the first shot.
Both guys are drawing the bows incorrect.
You tube name 🤔Mike Hancho!😂😂😂
Hey when I say spread I mean it man
Definitely something wrong with speed test, all the comparison videos I watched the carbon one was always the fastest… maybe you didn’t check poundage, maybe CP30 is way high?? Also not the first one to compare comfort/performance, almost all reviewers this year did it🤷🏻♂️
They need to check poundage and be stuck on a draw board to make sure they are comparing apples to apples. It's the only way to make sure. I have yet to see anyone on RUclips to do that.
Another clickbait thumbnail pic with no SX80 to shoot.... what a big surprise. Is their an adult bow shop on youtube?
The carbon is the most dead in the hand bow ever
I’m sorry but that dude in the grey shirt is way out of shape. I seriously doubt he’s a bowhunter. Looks more like a rifle hunter shooting out of trucks and drinking beer 😂
That’s your problem lol you’re using a arrow that’s 120g’s over what spec is….Run a 300g arrow and you’ll get those speeds!!!
Edit, This is straight from their website. I guess they use a 350g unlike others than run a 300. “The IBO speed advertised is achieved with a 70lb bow with a 350 grain arrow. “ -Bowtech
300 g no less than 350g for 70 lbs unless you want to risk derail !!
