This goes to show that even though the Elite has the highest marks across the board, you really need to put hands an with these bows. Having access and experience with tuning and the equipment needed to tune is huge, as you said. I stay with Elite for the “tuna, bility”😂 and the sweet Kuiu Verde camo pattern. Very scientific.
You’ve definitely made me think now between I really don’t have any Hoyt dealers around me. But I would love to have either the VTIA34 or RX7 Ultra but the standard RX7 it’s not bad either and you raised some very good points
The Mach 34, with the slower, but smooth cams, still is just as or faster than the others. What does that tell you? The E2 or S2 cams would make the others look like dogs. I promise you there is no “kick out” when it is set up.
I’m definitely choosing the Elite Era, once I factor how customizable they are: draw length (1/4” increments), letoff (~1% increments), vane clearance (tunable roller), draw force curve (perf vs smooth module). SET tunability is a major bonus. Probably the best blend of speed, BH, and weight for that size bow. Minor vibration/noise. The grip is the most subjective aspect left on the table. Good luck guys!
Elite is a nice bow, but I bought an Enkore couples of years ago and have never been able to tune it. Sent it back and they told me "we made it better but still not perfect"... Did not want to trade it for a "good" one so no more Elites for me. Hoyt dealer in my town is not what I can call a good dealer. So I ended up buying a Carbon One. I know it's heavy and ugly, but really like the Deadlock system to tune broad heads and the Flip disc. I think it's a great hunting bow! Great review by the way!!
I have the matrix , the one before this . Still shoot it now and can’t fault it . I was told that they changed the design because this one was too expensive to produce
My omnia has some harsh cable rub. I made it a little better but still not perfect. According to elite it's normal for the new cam system. Elite is not a very shootable bow. I'll be using my hoyt for another year
I love my Omnia (bought in December 2022) and my Era (bought last week) Stoked I have a wife that supports my bow hunting addiction. Anyway I haven’t seen any cable rub in my Omnia even when I put about 200 arrows through it. When I put Gas strings in it the Winner Choice strings didn’t show signs of rubbing.
Hoyt rx7 ultra, all day every day. Perfect ATA and excellent shoot ability and very streamlined. However, hoyt needs to improve their tune ability. They have fallen way behind in that department.
PSE Mack 34 lighter bow I shoot it well vibration in the hand doesn’t hurt a man and don’t mess with your Accuracy so if your gonna do the hike carry light

It is my favorite hunting bow I have ever had (work at a bow shop so there have been a lot of them) and I had to do zero tuning out of the box broadheads and field point shot perfect and it groups just as well as my target bow I couldn’t ask for more.
Just found your videos for the first time today. Really enjoying what I've seen so far

That "kick out" is the effect of heel pressure on the bow. It's ridiculous that he's concerned about it or vibration.
Catering two Bowtech fans, switching from comfort to speed! Now go get the PSE Mach 34 and do it with the SD cam!
I like the Hoyt grip and draw cycle. Even though it needs shimmed at the shop,it'll be tuned for life.what's very tunable could untune do to vibration

I shot the Carbon One and really felt nice.
Wonder why did Hoyt stop making the g3 carbon element elite 2013 I think when they came out I love them bows I like design 👍👍👍

It is fixable you know?
Swap limbs to fix that it sounds like a pain but it’ll be much better
@@luissantana5261 Did that, big spread of deflection on my bottom limbs, so I swapped. It cleaned the lean all the way.

Why not put the carbon levitate in the mix to?
I bought a Carbon One
Tunability leave it to the target shooters if you a pro archery shooter going hunting hiking you want something that shoot well and light
RX7 ultra!
Hoyt rx7 ultra, all day every day. Perfect ATA and excellent shoot ability and very streamlined. However, hoyt needs to improve their tune ability. They have fallen way behind in that department.
You should have shot a Zion. It's a pound lighter than the carbon one. And performs just as good.
PSE Mack 34 lighter bow I shoot it well vibration in the hand doesn’t hurt a man and don’t mess with your Accuracy so if your gonna do the hike carry light
On the video it looked that you used the most energy to pull back the elite, looked more difficult to draw back, don't look like a nice draw cycle
Mach 34 s2 cams for 27.5 draw
The PSE sent the others away naked and wounded.
Shemming is primitive
Yoke tuning much better
Hoyt should have stuck to yoke
Wheres the win and win hurricane
Duh bowtech
