Hans Schipper thanks Hans. I do my best :-) It handles very well. Easy to tack, turn and switch sails. It got same rating as the Europe Dinghy. but I failed to complete 3 races in a row now. Wind han died before finsish. But Im happy It sails pretty ok :-)
Yes I know :-) I had so many good ideas with that little boat... but a lot of them failed. Maybe I did learn some lessons that I put in my larger trimaran. It was a lot of work to build it for very few days in the water. Fun those days anyway :-)
Very nice boat! Cool place for sailing! Don't you think your amas has low volume? They dive easy and slowing down your boat i think. Thank you. Your other trimaran Outlaw is the damn fast bullet!
Andrew Drogin Thanks! :-) Yes the amas are too small. The main hull became little too heavy as well. It was difficult to build a such small boat light. Chryz Outlaw is fast. I have also rebuilt the boat during summer. Soon ready. You can see some in my blog. www.Chryz10.com
@@Sailingchris, "It was stupid.", ... not stupid, may be a little bit lazy ... :-) But : Why did you built the swimmers' bow negatively? You're sitting stationary in the boat, so you can't relieve the pressure on the swimmer by riding out like you would do when sailing a dinghy in strong winds ? So you need every bit of buoyancy you can get ... Please watch at 5: 26min. for an example ...
Dumb design. Just get a catamaran with a trampoline. It will be faster, safer, more comfortable, easier to trim and easier to trailer. For solo sailing stick with a mainsail only.
Looks like you need a bit more luff down hall on the main 👍🇦🇺
I think a very good speed for such a short boat! A great rebuilt of the Chryz10

Also need a lot more luff tension. Draft max is about a meter aft of mast. Great looking amas just not enough volume, especially aft.

NICE SAILING !! i hate the soundtrack (sounds like army musik !! ) details of your boat building somewhere ? thanks
ALAIN STEINBERG thanks :-) you can check out my blog. www.chryz10.com

Doesn't tack very well, does it?
It was not too bad. The wheel was from a Nintendo game. Little small. But no worry. It was lots of other things I could have done better :-)
Cool stuff 😍
Why set the boom so low? Pull that main up please! Great boat spoilt by dumb rigging
Yeah I know. It was stupid.

@@paulpaulsen7309 I though it just looks cool. No other function :)
@@Sailingchris, ok, ... accepted ! :-)
... may be some foils would help to solve the "problem", they're locking cool too ...
... and, @Christofer, ... you did some changes ?

Yes, my design was not too good, and I got lot of trouble with the boat. It was a prototyp and ended up in the dumpster sadly.
