Fantastic video Chris thanks for sharing it 🙏 it’s wonderful to see our little Spirit live on and to give others the joy she gave us. Fair winds and hope to see you on the water sometime, Jason and Claudia
Great to have you back! What a cool boat - could you talk a bit about the sailing characteristics? Also - please, please, please, with sugar on top - can you make a few podcasts? I have a few night passages coming up and I love listening to your deck updates and random tangents when sailing through the middle of the night 🙏
I have been watching that boat since it showed up in the Whitsundays (what seems eons ago). I absolutely love Antigua but my last visit was before that boat showed up in the aforementioned neck of the woods. When it was for sale with J & C (in hindsight) I should have been the next owner...... I like your style so subbed. I used to run a HSW70 (004) I ran a crew of 2 + me whilst the sister-ships ran 7 + Skip between West Indies and New England. Less was always better. Cheers. Ps That boat at sea with no fence is like a KTM at full noise dodging kangaroos in the bush near sunset with no fence.
I followed her with the Hawkins round Oz and as Bullfrog - gorgeous tri that excelled in the light airs of SE Asia. Would love to know she got to the Caribbean
Great video with many great tips. On your trip you had an autopilot problem. After watching Nick a naval architect from DMS Marine while planing my own all metal hull trimeran it seems everything needs a backup and to be duplicated. Twin diesels, twin water makers and twin navigation computers and instruments etc. Why didnt you have a second autopilot and simply switch out the malfunctioning one? Regards Philip
Thank you for a great showcase of a beautiful vessel. Have a rookie question for you. Do you know why this Trimaran and especially the maxi trimarans seem to have that large half circle structurally at the stern of the vessel? Is it just for extra storage via nets or does it have actually sailing benefits? Some seem to have travelers there. I've been trying to research this... Thanks
Hi Chris, I'm new to ur channel, just a ? Was it the electrics that failed on the auto pilot, or the actual mechanism. Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed the content, very interesting boat, would have been nice to see more of it. Be safe. 🇦🇺🌈👍
Love that boat. Previous owner did an amazing job with all his improvements. Lovely couple. Meanwhile, welcome back Chris.

What a relief to see you alive! The radio silence was so long that I was fearing the worst.
Glad to see your back Chris

You're alive! Nice one Chris, keep em coming
Love this boat, so many little details perfected for this kind of solo sailing...
Glad to see you back!
Great tips! Ear protection = brilliant suggestion!
Sheet to tiller?😉 Good to see yer back.😀👍⛵️
It’s wild that Chris can sail this machine solo, without an autopilot, and even through the marinas on a little outboard offset from the rudder!
Missed you!
Great video, trimarans are fast, also thank you for explaining where the name Code 0 comes from😉
Hi chris glad to see you back , still the best sailing and podcast channels
Living the dream man. Good for you
Thank fuck hes back , proper sailing channel
Mate, where have you been?! Nice to see you back.
Good to see you back Chris, was worried about you for a bit there.

Previous owner had a $1,400 Thermomix on board that he must of kept. That would have been nice to have.
Hey Chris, ran into you in Bermuda randomly. Glad you are doing well. Hope made it home ok.
Wow, I saw this boat cruising around Phuket years ago. Did she cross the Indian / Atlantic ocean?
Great vid! You might like off-the-shelf earplugs too. The spongy type is easy to get used to. Less weight on your head.
wasn't expecting a cooking show😂

Will you rig a jack line when you work on deck?

Surprised you did the trip singlehanded….sure a few folk would pay for the experience
What happens in rough waters ? I know it's fast but what happens when the weather gets rough .
Chris...what about the GSC? Are you not sailing it?

Light weight boat means what? Sub 1 tonne? 2 tonne? 5 tonne?
That boat does look comfortable at all it's bare sailing at its best while racing but it's not a lifestyle
Oh I think there are ways it can be good... Check out this RUclips channel from the previous owners :) youtube.com/@TrimaranSpirit?si=AKY0uAHyflO_5ocP
Is that Spirit that Jason used to own?
BTW, what's wind mast?
wingmast
