Thanks for watching! :) I have sneaked in some more serious questins between the lines during mu mumbeling talk, where the sailing is going, all the shorthand fuzz and when its possible to sail, why the season feel is too short and the transistions from kids sailing dinghy to keelboats.. Its a lot of questions I have :)

Yes, I agree, the pace and cuts ended up little too fast maybe. I was just afraid if I did too long clip, many people will get bored and not see the end of the video where I sum up my thoughts which camare. It was a difficult trade of. I also try side by side but then it became small. Totally agree the cheap camera picture is much better than expected.

It work pretty ok, but I could not find a good place to put it. Also I have the model without solar-panel, and also I have rotating mast. My boat is a Corsair Dash 750. Similar to F22. The F22 is a supernice boat however :)

@@Sailingchris thanks! The corsairs & Farriers are lovely boats, too bad there's not too many up for sale. Good to hear that the Calypso works fine, if you don't use it anymore, I might be interested lol. Completely forgot about the rotating masts that most corsairs/farriers have, that's a major pain to get working indeed.

@@Sailingchris agree the Night was tough, the fog was the worst part i think. We have a Dark blue Luffe 40 called Alba, was in the XL class.

What are the reasons you want to make such a changes? There are pros/cons to both, just want to understand your goal(s) .

@@marcantoineroussel We have a lot of shallow water. I can avoid the shallows , but I do want to be able to explore those areas under sail. The kick up rudder kicks up nicely, but often there’s too much weather Helm if it’s not straight down.

How does it look like on the F24? I'm pretty ok with my alu-rudder, that lifts straight up and can kick up if grounding

That's a very very good advice! Will absolutely do that when sailing next time. Had like 3 power banks, but as you pointed out, they all had their connectors up and easily get water in

@markthomasson5077 your catamaran is probably faster than you think 🤔 what do you have? 😀

@@Sailingchris it is a Woods Gypsy, 8.5m. The hulls are quite fat, so I haven’t had her above hull speed yet, though I believe with a wave behind she will take off. Or lots of sail and a strong nerve, and needs new sails. She is a good safe cruising design at 5.4m wide

@@SamuelLanghorn this was Mini2. Both can handle lots of wind. The Mini3 I had not yet bought here.

@elearning_testAREAL Thanks a lot! I would recommend autopilot to 100% I also have two remote control to mine. To adjust course. I just assume the DF25 had autopilot as well. The Diam24 did not. He is hardcore.

@elearning_testAREAL I also had two extra smaller battery that I could connect either autopilot or navigation or both If or when main power failed. But this time it worked great. Maybe I should do a boat tour some day

@@Sailingchris That would be great. To get some impressions and recommendations for singlehanded equipment on a tri. I do actually a complete refit on a corsair24 with the goal to go around funen singlehanded.

I was trailering my boat from home to Denmark/Silverrudder, and that took 5 hours. To sail, it would have taken several days. They had a very good boat slip ramp next to the marina for us

@@SamuelLanghorn raymarine st2000. Modified with a custom remote control. It's not the best but works OK. Sometimes we are friends. Sometimes not 😀

I can make a video about what I will eat and gear I will use. But routing, I'm a beginner in that area and never sailed around Fyn before. Have too little knowledge to make any advice at least

The Garmin has an 8 hour interanl battery, "when" my power fails on the boat. Also I use them to have different zoom level. Its a LOT of rocks and shit in the water to avoid in Sweden. I'm more comfortable with a backup... even that I did some fails anyway anyway

@@SolitarySwede thats true. 2nd largest island you can legally sail around 😀

But Orust is the biggest island on the swedish west coast, then Hisingen and in 3rd Tjörn. 🙂

The camera I hold is Insta360 Ace Pro. Then I filmed with Garmin Virb 360 and Virb X and garmin gives data in the screen
