Within her programme Eva Heidbreder - our #ScholarInResidence 2023 - talked about topics relating to "exit, entry and exclusion from the European Union" and deepened the discourse together with multiple experts. One highlight was the public discussion with author and HIAS fellow Tsitsi Dangerembga that led to a significant cross-cultural dialogue addressing the complexity of decolonisation and its ongoing impact on Africa and Europe.
In collaboration with HIAS - Hamburg Institute for Advanced Study e.V., ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS, University of Hamburg and the Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg.
