java, just to let you know, nahida (dendro archon) is coming out in the first phase of 3.2, and she WILL be a dendro catalyst!! so you might wanna start farming for her. you should be good to just use the deepwood memories artifact set (dendro dmg bonus set). not sure what her ascension materials are tho
I wouldn’t recommend Nilou for swords only because she needs dendro and hydro characters to work properly which you don’t have too many of. The weapon banner seems like it’s pretty good though with 2 5 star swords on it and the Xiphos moonlight which looks like it will be a very solid option. Plus the next 5 star sword character is probably gonna be Alhaitham who isn’t gonna be on banner for a while so you have plenty of time to save.
Al haithm is a Dendro unit and she’s still useable without double Dendro none of his characters are at their best potential anyway as supports play a major role into how good a character is so I say pull for nilou if he likes her.

you don't need nilou on swords only. her kit is very niche (she is most useful in hydro/dendro only teams) and it's gonna be a while until there will be a good team comp for her especially with such a restriction as swords only....
@@erenyeager8258 her sword is not worst. It is a great weapon for HP scaling sword characters. It is best in slot for Nilou, very good on Kuki Shinobu and the upcoming sword character Layla. Vortex is not BiS for anyone. The cricket bat is better than vortex in use but sucks at aesthetics
I can definitely see Nilou's sword becoming useful in the future. There are so many HP scaling characters (Key being the only HP-scaling sword, not counting Jade Cutter) and with Fontaine coming up, there might just be someone who would like to use her sword :> But for the time being it is a very niche weapon.
