This is inspired by my own Swords Only playthrough we currently have running on the channel. That account is at a point where we just need to farm domains to further build characters, so with plenty of catalyst-wielding characters on the horizon, it's time to begin this journey as well.
This time around we pull for Nahida on the new 3.2 banner, and explore some of the new content in this update.

You can use Nahida's Skill to instantly collect flowers, mushrooms, fruits and berries by holding it at them and she'll collect everything she sees. You can even do it from rather far away as well.

For her own dmg, treat em and crit rolls equally
He needs know this. Ideally you want around 1000 em and Rest into Crit rate and DMG.

@@leafistrying as long as you have enough em, yea you want around 800 to max out her passive, but lower does work if your crit and dmg bonus is good enough
I was able to get over 920 EM with Magic Guide and Deepwood, along with 33/105 crit ratio (passive gives her e skill procs over 21% crit rate, making it functionally 55/105 which I am very happy with).
I will have to compare the damage between Magic Guide and Sac Frags to see if the 30-40 extra EM makes up for the Magic Guide's passive.

Java, how the dendro hypostasis works is that once you activate the pillars with dendro, they "charge" the hypostasis (as you can see with the little dendro bar below its hp bar) and once its fully charged it dies. Using electro just speeds up the charging.
I still don't understand if you need to charge all three things, or just one will be enough

@@manukeotoko5408 1 electrified pillar will barely be enough to charge it all as we saw in the video, so 2 electrified pillars should be enough but if you don't have an electro char and only have dendro it'd probably take 3 normal pillars.

@@manukeotoko5408 just one isn't enough to do it in one cycle, I don't think even all three can do it in one cycle if you don't apply electro as well. You could hypothetically stick to using only one and finish in a just a few cycles though.
I love it when JavaTheCup says “it’s nahida’in time” and nahida’d all over sumeru. Truly one of the moments in Gensh’in.
So, you actually don't need to remove the Mappa Mare from Heizou. If you can Refine the Magic Guide to r5 (it's a 3*) it's actually really good for Nahida, as long as you can keep a Hydro or Electro aura.
Edit: The final phase of the Nahida boss only needs you to attack the external plants with Dendro, Electro can speed the process to kill it, though

@@alexprus7953 Thankfully Magic Guide is pretty easy to get, so he could refine another one up for Nahida :D
Dendro Aura completely eats through both Hydro and Electro aura so you're not gonna activate the passive most of the time if you put the Magic Guide on Nahida. Lisa will make better use of it cause she is an electro catalyst and EM is a nice buff to her damage reaction
Mappa Mare is his best choice rn cause he doesn't have Sac Fragment yet

In case you didn't notice, Nahida has a little jingle that can be heard when she runs. Press W a couple of times and you can make a melody :)
I love Nahida, she’s so sweet. As much as I like the rest of them, she’s my (current) favourite archon and she’s really good too. Best of luck to get her

For the dendro hypostasis, if you use Barbara's skill and stand next to the thing you need to activate, when it hits you a bloom core will spawn and when it explodes it will activate.

I tried on first day thought I could save my no dendro run but it's range is short that you actully need kazuha to bring it close to those batteries and you also need electro since you can't activate 3 using such method, tldr it's possible but it's pain to get it done

This might be just me geeking abt rlly small things, but after you only attack once she does a small little hop with a sound effect before going back to her neutral stance. (it's not the same as when she's attacking) and i just find it amazing that they add in that super small detail.
The little feet sticking out of the bottom of her silhouette get me every time, congrats on the Nahida

Those lotuses grow on the cliffs and Nahida is perfect for farming those with her E, you won't regret it. Use the E just as you do with the enemies to farm from afar specially those items that are in difficult places.

Nahida can either be used as a dendro support or an on field sub/main dps. With the gilded dreams set on nahida and having the Deepwood on another character(it doesn't have to be a dendro character) her elemental mastery is buffed(with gilded) and with the other member having deepwood you'd also get another buff. One of her talents also scale off her atk as well as em so try getting your EM to at least 500 - 900 and your atk to maybe 900 - 1k Nahida is quite flexible in many roles
Nahida is an AMAZING dendro applying support for Yanfei. I use Yanfei quite a bit, and my friend just pulled Nahida and the damage output is outstanding! After you’ve invested more into them you have to try that set up!

In case you’re wondering how to build Nahida, both Gilded and Deepwood are both very good on her(although deepwood will generally be better in bloom teams.) if you’re struggling to get a 4pc then 2pc/2pc of Gilded/Deepwood is still alright. So that domain is pretty much where you’re gonna be stuck until you finish building Nahida lol.
Also another thing about Nahida, if you use her E skill on plants you can collec them from afar like u see a mint, you are quite far hold her E. It will mark the plant, then after marking let go and you get the plant from afar. Relly useful

If you use her E skill on the people of Sumeru It will mark then you can read their mind that way. This on only works in the people of sumeru who are wearing the Akasha. It doesn’t matter is it’s in the desert or port ormos or the city people have to have an akasha terminal! Hope u enjoy

Im so happy when catalysts only content gets posted.
To fight the dendro hypostasis at the end you can activate ALL the pylons with dendro and to make it FASTER you can quicken reaction them with electro so while it IS NOT required to bring electro it sometimes saves the pain of having to do a “secondary phase”.
Also if you manage to activate all the pylons with dendro AND electro you get an achievement.

Your Nahida may have been guaranteed and kinda late but still congrats on her. And it looks like you had fun. Maybe. A bit. But it was nice to see it.
Also that Gilded Dreams set you declared useless has 80 EM as its 2-piece bonus.
And don't forget to utilize Nahida's E when collecting those Kalpalata Lotuses. It definitely makes things easier. Sumeru plants seem to have been designed particularly with Nahida's skill on mind.
the 3 star weapon magic guide at r5 is really good for nahida too. tif u use it u don’t need to replace weapons for other characters :)

I made the same mistake with Dendro Hypothesis. Eventually managed to hack it by carefully timed blooms, but it took ages. Fun challenge though! (Well… fun is a strong word)

On the topic of sound effects, I feel this way about Nahida’s footsteps… they sound different from the other characters because she’s barefoot, and it’s such a satisfying sound for some reason. Also, breaking tumbleweed.

Just a bit of explanation :
So nahida is kinda of a sub dps / support character, her roles in her teams are different depending on each team
So her normals are basic , they apply dendro and have normal idc , her skill whoever is a bit complicated, and the description on it , is that when you mark enemies with the skill whether you tap or hold, every 2.5 sec after triggering a dendro reaction it will do damage and apply 1.5 u of dendro on enemies , it has a 25 sec duration and a 5 sec cooldown , the skill and the affect on it also has no icd witch means it can apply dendro whenver it happens and trigger reactions . ( also the 1.5 u means that skill applies one and half dendro so you can expect to trigger dooble the amount of reactions like bloom burning due to that because most characters has 1u on there abilities)
Her burst is simple it is a 50 energy cost burst with 15 sec duration and a 13.5 sec cooldown at base ,the burst does no damage but instead give nahida skill affects depending on the party she is running:
Pyro : add additional damage percentage to her skill , witch might sound high at first but nahida kinda has a ton of damage percentage from her passive witch I will explain later , so the pyro affect is usually the least desired , especially that burning sucks
Electro : best one so far , it basically reduce the cooldown interval between here skill passive proc making her trigger more reactions and attack more often to do more damage, and since her personal damage is high this is usually the recommended one .
Hydro : witch extend the duration of her burst , witch leads to lowering her energy needs this one is situational, usually you don’t build for this one but rather just gain some benefit when you build a team with a hydro unite on it , usually you will have one hydro on the team for hyper bloom / bloom / burgeon , so don’t focus on it too much
Her first passive is simple , basically when using nahida burst your active on field character will gain elemental mastery based on 25% of the party member with the highest elemental mastery up to maximum of 250 Em gained if that character has 1000 . Just a reminder this is not nahida’s Em but the highest Em character on the team it could be any character as long as they have the highest Em .
Her second passive grands her bonus crit rate and elemental damage bonus based on each point of elemental mastery after 200 , to a maximum of 12% crit rate and 80% elemental damage bonus , if she has 1000 Em .
So for nahida build since she is not just a pure support but also a sub dps , her builds can change depending on the team she is on , but in general it is recommended to run normal build aka (EM/DMG/CRIT) or switch either the goblet or circlet for an Em (EM/EM/CRIT) or (EM/DMG/EM) .
Yes a full Em is possible but I must remind you that her personal damage is too high to run full Em , because unlike anemo unites dendro damage can’t swirl so the Em won’t do much if the crit itself is too low . Also Em is only necessary for sand , don’t try to force an Em goblet and circlet with terrible states because your losing more than just running standert crit build . Basically like any crit character she needs balance .
Also usually nahida isn’t the character you build full Em , since her first passive don’t limit her buff just from her Em but the party member with the highest Em , that could be anyone and usually that is the anemo unite used like sucrose kazuha venti , or a pure Em electro unite like Lisa Kuki in hyperbloom team .
On flower and feather crit roles are as important as Em roles , basically they are equal, and on the sand goblet and circlet, always use an Em sand since her skill damage scale higher from Em , and crit on sub states , for goblet and circlet if you run Em mains states you want crit substates but if you run DMG and CRIt you can expect Em sub states to be as good as crit states as well .
Nahida is a very flexible unite , she applies dendro consistently and reliably , she can be played in all dendro teams , some of them that have a main dps like aggrevate she can be played off field , but in others like bloom hyperbloom and burgeon she can be played on field driver since the team has no other dps option , also playing her on field for bloom / hyperbloom teams is beneficial since she will apply more dendro and make more seeds thus increase the team dps output.
Also last tip nahida can indeed obtain her own burst Em sharing so keep that in mind . Also for her weapons you can use any Em weapon like mapa, or sacrificial, or a crit weapon like lost prayer and kagura. Usually the crits are better if she has a teammate that build Em so she doesn’t have to do it herself.

about the dendro hypostasis, when i first fought it i had also not realized you needed dendro but you can infact do it another way. If you attack it with hydro in its final stage, the blooms can apply dendro to it aswell.
