This is inspired by my own Swords Only playthrough we currently have running on the channel. That account is at a point where we just need to farm domains to further build characters, so with plenty of catalyst-wielding characters on the horizon, it's time to begin this journey as well.
This time around we take our little Klee we got last time from wishing, and farm to make her stronger. In the process, we set a new record for our highest damage on the account.

I think it was 1.5-2 hours maybe? I never really keep track while editing. Glad you liked it though! I wanted to try something different for the 'montage'.

To be honest, character special episodes like these are kinda fun to watch, it feels more chill and it's a possibility to upgrade characters one at a time instead of having to juggle all the catalysts/weapons/talents simultaneously (especially considering the shared mob drops thing). And if they're more fun for you to do, Java, then i don't see the downside :) either way this series has me completely hooked, especially with your dedication to the challenge !!

Not many, but multiple times in this vid where he hit 6k, but it's a small number (in size), he asks, "Was that a crit?".

seriously though, even if java IS just farming it's very entertaining.
Java honestly has a really soothing/nice voice, so like- even if you did just farm for like many episodes in a row, I'd honestly still watch it lol- and I'm sure many of us agree! You just have this v relaxing vibe, and your sense of humour is a mood ;p
I really enjoyed this episode so much!! just watching you run around, collecting stuff and building your characters, while listening to your very entertaining commentary was a great experience and I would love to see more videos like that in the future! ^^ also focusing on one character at a time is really relaxing to watch~
The little musical tune when collecting mushrooms was so cute! Also, I really like this idea of having only 2 characters on the team. Not only would it be less overwhelming to focus on only one or two at a time, but it also makes it a bit of a challenge within a challenge, in a way.
I, personally, love farming videos, because they're calm and relaxing, there is not going any crazy stuff as in story based videos. In this kind of videos you're showing your progress in character improvement, so please make some more videos like these, at least with main DPS characters, because, it seems that there will be some time before you'll go in any other story quests.
I love seeing characters growing stronger as you level their talents and weapons and eventually artifacts and seeing their dammage getting bigger and bigger and farming is essential to do that so i don't mind watching you just farming for each character individually and you make seem fun that's even better

Hello~ I like watching you farm for the characters and actually exploring ideas on how to use them, it's actually refreshing to see. Keep up the good work! I think farming for 1 character at a time is more efficient than farming for all of them at the same time.

13:30 ouch... Java just used Crit Rate food and immediately negate all the effect with D tier flat attack food...
Java, if you don't know: food buffs are NOT STACKING at all. The same "type" of food buffs (which are attack/crit.chance , shield/defense/healing.bonus , stamina , resistance/buff poisons) aren't stacking at all. Of you use "def 200" food and then use "30% shield hp and 100 def" it will overtake the "def 200" buff and negate it.
And what happened in your video: you ate crit rate food and then used flat atk food. It just disabled the buff from the first one.
I hope you understand the game-mechanic now.

It's a massive pain at first, but as a Klee main myself, I can say it's worth it to learn some of her animation cancels. Machinegun Klee is really fun :3

Yup, just exploration and building character didn't bored me but the need to do quest for multiple account is what kill genshin for me couple of years ago. Then I focus on just my main account and try different team and it made genshin interesting again.
Klee is an amazing character hope you have fun with her

I think the "one character per video" format was the right move, it focuses on a single character so following the progress very easy and every little development you achieve is clearly visible with the damage you deal. This will get even better when you reach ar45 and start building the artifacts
Once Java gets a Widsith on this account, it will be his best friend forever

Do what you enjoy! I will watch every episode because I like the things that *you* say about the game. I mainly don't watch it because of the way you play it, but because of you. I like to see you suffer ;) and also figuring out how to do certain things with limited characters available. Keep doing what you do and don't worry too much whether it's "good enough" content or not. I and probably a big part of your community will watch you, even when you do "boring" stuff like farming, because you say something entertaining about it.
I feel your pain about building multiple characters at the same time that take the same mats. I'm running into a similar situation where I'm building 3 characters right now (Klee, Xiao, Heizou) and all three take talent books that are available Mon/Thurs/Sun.
Also, you can purchase 5 philanemo mushrooms from Flora's sister (the little girl south west of Four winds temple.) every 3 days. I used that option a lot while leveling Klee.

Honestly I love watching you farm stuff. Looking at your progress in swords only made me get out of a pretty major burn out phase and this video made me want to go play and farm again lol I agree that focusing on farming for one character at a time makes it more enjoyable btw I totally feel that, I’ve had so much fun farming for Heizou actively- I’d always farm ahead of time for every character I wanted but now I know the beauty of farming for a character as you have them and watch them deal more dmg as you go along instead of maxing them out right away and I’m not going back

Don't overwork yourself, Java! I'm sure there's many people (including me) constantly checking if you have uploaded, so even if RUclips does this thing where it makes less people see your video on the recommended page, you can still gain support from people who actually enjoy your content no matter what it is and hope to see you feel better as a person behind the screen

I personally love this kind of character raising videos. Very relaxing to watch. And that's what actually makes the game more interesting, getting characters and building them. It's also important you prioritize the way you want to play and no matter what you do it's entertaining. So this type of videos are a huge yes from me 🤲

Hi java I just wanted to give you a tip on klee when you see a little pyro red clover that goes around her then that is a time where you do a charged attack because that little clover will increase the dmg by 50% have a great day and have fun with klee!

on my Klee her highest talents were her elemental skills not her normals that was a huge mistake, her charge attack does 7-19k whole crap imagine if it’s crowned hope you can learn from my mistakes :D

If you would like to get a higher crit, it may be a good idea to head into a domain that does extra damage Frome some pyro reaction, I got my highest crit in the viridesent vendreder domain cus of the physical damage bonus

This was super fun to watch (at least from my perspective). I'm still quite a new player in terms of knowing what to d o in-game, so watching you farm this stuff in not-so real time really helps out with that. I love your channel Java, but remember to take breaks when you feel you need them! As someone once told me, Rome wasn't built in a day, but that doesn't mean the architechts never rested!

And if you teleport to a certain spot in monstat there is a girl named choris (i think) is there and she sells 5 philipino mushrooms for Klee and probably other characters
And just have fun with your accounts cuz seeing you farm al day for your characters seems stressful 😅

I don't mind watching you farm for characters, your personality makes even that part of Genshin entertaining somehow. Plus it's nice to watch the dmg slowly but surely grow
6:16 I'm not sure if you know this but when you open adventure book there is bookmark "enemies". There are a lot of icon of the enemies and when you click them its show you what they drop and button "nagivate" - click it and it'll show you ONE location of this enemy if you kill all enemies in this place it'll show anothere place and go on.

There is a limit for how many enemies the book shows you for some reason.
Unfortunately your klee's crit damage value is 50, which is the base CDMG value for all characters so even if you crit with 15% chance you will see no difference in damage potential. If you have 100 CDMG you should deal twice the damage when you crit vs when you don't crit.
