*Before continuing in reading this, please note that this can spoil the plot on that scene a lil bit to those that haven't watched the film, anyways...*
The annoying part in this scene is actually when the bad guys "left", the dude does the thing every stupid and dumb characters do once they think its safe so after waiting for like 10 seconds, he *gets out the hiding spot* and stupidly decided to freaking *check* if the bad guys have actually left and goes to the door to open it but once he does, he's surprised by the bad guys who knew someone was in the house (or the dude) and was just waiting for him to go outside getting his dumbass kidnapped making the circumstances harder for the protagonist Mr. McCall (the bald guy he was in the phone with) cause now the bad guys have something they can hold ransom to Mr. McCall in exchange for something and making him have to save his dumbass, gosh
