She isn't actually playing. She is just acting. Actually, the recording is being played in the background. Watch closely her body movements are fake. Watch other saxophone players and you will see this difference very clearly. SHE IS FAKE!!

I think its the reverse. Artist is suppose to motivate the audience. And if it has touched even 5 ppl to take up music or enjoy it, she has done her job.
Hats off to all the musicians for staying on the course and giving their best shot.
Also, if audience is Dud, its critical that musicians pause and interact and play and pause and interact and play. That gets them going. They want those few nudges here and there to shake them up out of their shyness. These are hardworking people who work all day and joy to them is just getting an opportunity to be there in such an event.
Their sense cannot be activated instantly. It needs to be provoked constantly
