This is encouraging to hear as I've been actively living as single unto the Lord after being widowed. I had an amazing marriage and felt thankful for the experience I had. As much as I miss my husband and love him, I now feel blessed to be single. I've only been single 4 years and spent 24 years married but I have to say I have so enjoyed the options available to me now even as I enjoyed the options I had then. If you ask me which is better I can't say because each has its ups/downs. What I try to do is just absorb myself in the Lord with whatever life circumstances are available to me currently.

I’m 23 and love the lord and want to remain single for Christ, as many should. The Bible says “a man who marries does well and a man who does not marry, does even better”

Love it, thank you for this!! God Bless in the Jesus. Singleness is marriage to the God we love, and we can bear children unto God not as a race by flesh and blood but rather by the Spirit who is receive through faith in Jesus.

Imagine being the Ethiopian Eunuch who was reading Isaiah 53 when Phillip witnessed to him.
Just 3 Chapters later he would have read this.....
Isaiah 56:3 Let no foreigner who is bound to the LORD say, "The LORD will surely exclude me from his people." And let no eunuch complain, "I am only a dry tree."
Isaiah 56:4 For this is what the LORD says: "To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant -
Isaiah 56:5 to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will endure forever."
A Name greater than that of son's and daughters! Profound really!

You won’t hear this on TBN. They make it sound like everyone is married. Life’s about you Jesus your spouse and your kids.

Not marrying is better than giving your life to someone who doesn't understand forgiveness and marriage.

This topic actually stresses me out. Why wouldn't I want the max benefit of living a life for God?? Yet at the same time having a wife and kids sounds so amazing I would be willing to trade the benefit for the benefit of a family. I KNOW this is illogical. Why trade a permanent blessing of infinite magnitude for something lesser and temporary at that? I WANT both but I understand I can't have both. If I could will myself into being content being single the rest of my life I would. I want God's blessings in it's fullest capacity. But I also want a family.
    Yeah.. I'm selfish.

I feel the exact same way. It's frustrating being tossed back and forth between the desire for God and the desire for family, especially since the time remaining is so short just like Paul said. Praying our Father gives us peace and clear direction.

My thoughts exact, I absolutely want to live a fulfilling and great life for Jesus, and also enjoy a family, a wife and kids, not sure why that’s treated as something bad, but I don’t apologize for wanting both, it is not selfish, it is not idolatry, it is not settling, living for Christ and a family is great.

Thanks for that precious speech. As a single woman in the end of 30's, I sometimes feel lonely and kind of lost. But now, I have a different view of that topic. I think, I idealized marrige. Blessings for this great channel. ❤

I'm not a virgin, but I gave up sex outside of marriage the day after mmy 21st birthday when I surrendered my life to Him.....And soon I will be 64....My beautiful girlfriend died almost 3 years ago at age 61, serving her whole life to Christ, and never knowing a man.

I can't stand when married man tells single people how blessed they are:(((
I'm 42 single women. I've been a christian since I was 15 years old. My everyday expetience is depression, thoughts of suicide, porn addiction.

Please stay in intense prayer (easy talks, like talking to a human being) with Jesus. He is healing everything. I often feel alike but we have to focus on Jesus. ❤ Make things that are nice, gardening, painting, sports, nature. It's good for your psyche

Hmmm. I was disappointed. He seemed to separate Israel and the Church too much. God has always reached out to us Gentiles. Also, he seemed to be addressing monks, nuns, and such; not those who want to be married and just haven't found anyone yet.

Wow how talented we are that the truth of God's word is so easily twisted. Isa 56:4-5 is about accepted offspring (sons and daughters) not children. Being single is great but these scriptures do not confirm his idea. This is why this world is in such turmoil. Lawless church leads leading a lawless army for god. What god my friend?
