There's probably a reason he played it perfectly. If you look at his body language in this interview you can see a very kind but troubled person as well as a bit insecure. To me it seems as if Otto being imprisoned is a metaphorical representation of Kurts inner battle. I felt this way after seeing another interview of his, but after hearing his answer to that question regarding Otto's brutal scenes I am almost certain Otto is in a sense Kurts inner demons.
Kurt Sutter - I know that you a very very very wonderful autor with a greai IQ - but you made MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD CRYED WHEN SOA ENDET!
Same for me to cry it takes alot, but man SOA dude I cried some tears. Opie's death , Bobby's death Tara's death, Jax telling his kids goodbye for the last time, Jax's death. Just to name a few goes to show the SOA was a freakin' masterpiece at best.
He needs to do a trilogy of Jax's kids growing up and showing what they choose to do. I also do not think jax should have burned his journals his kids will find out who he was and will have questions. I know he did it to protect them, but I'm hoping they could somehow have been copied stored in a garage somewhere and abel finds them one day and that is where it starts.
Ashley Wallace I think with everything that Abel has gone through he will remember the sons. and remember the sons live on with Chibs as Prez and Tig as VP
Uh, no. Not at all. David Simon, creator of THE WIRE, among other things, is a genius. Sutter is an amateur compared to him, and Sutter himself would probably admit it.
Here's my thoughts on the homeless lady...(spoiler warning for anyone who hasn't watched the whole series) It was made more or less clear that she is the mother of Jax's now baby sitter, the one who broke the window at the ice cream shop. I do believe she is dead, that she in fact died in the pile up with JT (as some may disagree). For whatever reason, this woman looks over Jax and his family for JT. She always seems to pop up in critical points when Jax is conflicted. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but in the very final scene, does the camera not focus in on a piece of bread laying on the highway - the same piece of bread that the camera focused on minutes before when she was eating in the alley before giving her cloak to Jax? I think that this further insinuates that she was with Jax at the very end- looking over JT's son for him. OR - This is just another incredible brainchild of Kurt Sutter meant to leave fans forever questioning each other on RUclips... Any thoughts?
Bit late to the party. But yeah I was convinced she was the girls mother. Jay even says when he is at her home talking to her dad that he thought he recognised her when he looks at a photo of her. That seemed about as clear as could be to me??!
I might be wrong but I thought I heard Kurt once mention in a group interview that he left the interpretation up to the audience but I was supposed to be like a Jesus figure
I think the homeless girl is rat's girlfriends mother who died in the pile up that JT died in, I think she is dead but jax can still see her in a way she is there to guide jax to his fate as you see her before or after some of the tragedies in the story and in every one she helps jax in his path. You feel me bruh?
Are are you going to come back with the show yes or no or do I just got a smash my TV I loved the show I made sure I was home to watch it every single time I Avan washed it on the Spanish channel didn't understand what they were saying but I was still able to see the show
I am a writer as well.. I totally understand why its hard to kill off certain characters. I had to do that and as I was writing it, I was crying my eyes out. I get very very emotionally attached to them LOL.
Lakeysha Burnley He already kind of revealed who she was. The girl that attacked the ice cream shop with the pipe wrench is the daughter of the homeless women that everyone thought died in John Tellers pile up accident.
Lakeysha Burnley How does no one really know that? Everyone who pays attention to the show saw the wedding picture and it was revealed when Jax said "she looks familiar." I thought it was pretty obvious lol
I think most people saw the photo when they went to her dad's house. However, I would like to know the reason why Sutter would have her show up throughout the show randomly. What's the connection?
5:17 pause, I love the freemasonry hand shake, right hand press hard on second knuckle! He makes shows and tv, while larry is media, those 2 go hand in hand.
I hope they come out with a prequel to how jt built the sons and how they fell so far from what he imagined or how able joins the sons when he is older and Thomas becomes a cop
Hey, its supposed to be after 'The Bastard Executioner', which is an entirely different show. He said he wants to take a break from SoA for a couple years before he starts the prequel.
These are some awesome twitter questions; e.g the journals, manuscript, homeless lady, the character of Unser, has the plot ended up what you sought out to do.
He should make an alternative timeline where opie didn’t die and the script went in a different direction and they all evolve into their characters to give us more

What if the homeless lady is related to the family. Like a distance relative. She is not dead and at a later date comes back and ties into Able and Thomas lives I wonder?
Looks like Otto din't left Kurt...the way he sees down or sideways while talking....i actually thought something was wrong with his eyes in the beginning of the video...
What's happening to the prequel there were rumours of Brad Pitt playing Jax's father. That probably won't happen now but there should be a cast of stars lined up to play the '9'. The first season in my view should basically be a Vietnam movie showing the horrors they went through. then the last episode is them getting back to the US. With the 70s theme, the music and atmosphere should be brilliant. lITTLE HINT DONT EVER DO AN iRISH THEMED EPISODE THAT WAS TERRIBLE
But he did tell the story of the homeless woman, to a certain degree, when Jax went searching for the girl that broke the window in the ice cream shop he found her home and her dad that was moving coz his wife died and he didn't have the money so Jax gave him the money, when Jax looked at the photo of the wife he recognised her...coz she is the homeless woman. although we don't know how she supposedly died and how she's alive we know who she was.
Kevin Augerolle In another interview he confirmed that she is a kind of angel, she is not real. That's why u can see her in Ireland etc... at the end she drops bread and wine like Jesus. And when Jax kills himself u fond again this bread and jax's blood could recall Jesus.
Needs to end in a bloodbath before it goes stale. Addicts can torrent the whole thing and do marathons. Bonus for maximum anguish if Jax loses a kid as collateral damage.
It was time to let SOA end. The writing started getting wacky. Seasons 1 and 2 had great writing. They fell off withS3. Seasons 4 was somewhat of a comeback for them. Seasons 4 through 7 were entertaining but they lost that magic of storytelling from the first 2 seasons. The show kind of turned into an action comic book. Plus they kept reusing the murder someone and blame someone else storyline and a lot of "fuck logic" moments. The biggest blunder to me was them screwing both of the kids' ages up. Abel being 5 years old and 5 years hadn't passed in the timeline. Abel was 8 months when tara became pregnant with Thomas. Meaning he'd be about a year and some months when Thomas was finally born, yet he was a huge 5 year old. Thomas stayed a baby but Abel aged fast.
***** In season 3, jax says that Abel is 8 months. At the beginning of season 4, they were getting out of prison after serving 14 or 15 months. Everything after that takes place over a period of months. Even Tara says that Piney had only been dead for six months in season 6. Even though Piney died back in season 4. Jax mentions that Abel is 5 years old in the final season during an argument with Gemma, or some other character. They fell off with the writing in trying to keep up with Abel's true age. Like they lost track of it.
Great show, ended just at the right time, and ended perfectly. Sutter is some kind of tv genius. Excellent writer, director, producer and actor, he does none of this badly. EXCEPT..... I watched the first two episodes of bastard executioner, and it's awful. So that's a big swing and a miss on that one. Also, I do NOT want to see a sons prequel. Let the show go already, don't keep milking it, or you will end up with something like that horrible fear the walking dead garbage (I hope that show is dead before the end of the year, all characters brutally killed not by zombies but by the army, just for being boring and annoying and lifeless)
one i am not your mate and two i would fuck ur entire world up bitchb i know dangerous people who are in actual gangs and mc clubs so dont fucking call me a piece of shit that is all !
like tell the trurh he loose it all to one he made the show about back 60 he did and lie the hells angel was going kill him to bad the did not do it king troll here
I thought he was supposed to do a prequel about the First Nine. First there was S.O.A., now there's M.M.C.; maybe he'll wrap up the whole motorcycle club saga with a series revolving around the First Nine. Can't hurt to dream.
His character as Otto was brilliant. A loyal, dedicated soldier who gave his life for the club.
But he suffered though
You know what I find funny his character otto delaney is the most psychotic outta all of them he played that role perfectly
I didn't even know it was Kurt Sutter playing Otto until after I binge watched the entire series on Netflix, I was floored!
and he is married to Gemma (katey sagal) IRL!!!!!!!!!!
Dan Trojan s
There's probably a reason he played it perfectly. If you look at his body language in this interview you can see a very kind but troubled person as well as a bit insecure. rovers141 it shows in how he created those messed up events- some of them i couldn’t even stomach i felt like throwing up
I actually loved Otto in the show... I really felt bad for all the shit he took which he didn't seem to deserve at all.
Most loyal guy ever ! Respect !
Well I kinda disagree. He shouldn't have killed that innocent nurse!
@@Darkest_Soul_187 Nobodys innocent in this life, Karma gets us all.
Otto was a legit boss, did a lot of damage even from prison
Everything that happened to Otto was worse than things that happened to other characters ...
i want more kurt sutter shows
Worst day of my life when this show ends 😭
Pazuzu,"Baghdad zip code Death forever"
Me too! I went through a mourning period in all honesty. Great show!
agree!! Felt that way also about Lost 😞. I still rewatch these shows on Hulu!!
He should do a prequel set in jaxes fathers time
demonocus metalocus he is
Jenna Martin how do you know this
@@thrasher4200 he mentions it in this interview
Yes, with Charlie playing his dad
Omfg dude, your a genius!!
Best Show ever saddest day ever when the show ended
this guy is the ultimate cool. always liked you too Larry. thx for the interview with him...J
Kurt is amazing. Could not have done a better job writing SOA. Super smart, talented, and handsome. Kurt is going to do amazing other stuff too!
he is a genius... if shakespeare would have been a tv series producer in the 3rd millenium, , he would be kurt sutter...
Did you watch the last few seasons?? Some of the worst tv ever made!!!
@@thingsicantfind9545 just because youre a softy doesnt make the last seasons ANY less brilliant
Uhh no, because SOA is based on Hamlet so he basically stole the story.
Kirt sutter is awesome great creater and writer.
Sons of Anarchy is a great show. There have been up's and down's in this show that have made it so great. I agree ... PLEASE RE THINK ENDING IT KURT
Kurt Sutter and Vince Gilligan are two of my favorites.
+Billy Dasco you're goddamn right!
yea breaking bad and sons of anarchy are my favorite!
Aaron Rodriguez +1
David Simon, creator of The Wire should be on this list, The Wire is a masterpiece
Kurt Sutter - I know that you a very very very wonderful autor with a greai IQ - but you made MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD CRYED WHEN SOA ENDET!
I cried when Jax AND his girl died, it's not that easy to get tears out of me
+Military 777se8654se Veteran we all hated her but that's the beauty of the character, everybody has flaws, Kurt made it more realistic.
Thanks for spoiling it for me -___-
Same for me to cry it takes alot, but man SOA dude I cried some tears. Opie's death , Bobby's death Tara's death, Jax telling his kids goodbye for the last time, Jax's death. Just to name a few goes to show the SOA was a freakin' masterpiece at best.
LOVE YOU LARRRYY..FOREVERRR !!!
Can't wait hope their will be more
Larry King RIP
I loved the show overall, I really loved most of the characters.
Such a brilliant man!!
MAKE A SHOW LIKE SONS AGAIN!
Hi there. I'm writing from the future to tell you that there is one and it's called Mayans MC
My number one show hands down of all time!
That would be awesome, I think Abel would turn out like Jax and rebirth the Sons, should be played by Tom Hardy as Abel when hes grown up!
Ashley Wallace I think with everything that Abel has gone through he will remember the sons. and remember the sons live on with Chibs as Prez and Tig as VP
MrCrepers86 i sure hope so
It would also be badass for there to be Like a First 9 series & actually get to live the JT legacy
Ashley Wallace Nice idea 💡 👍🏻
4:19 Opie
Had he said anyone else I would've been flat out offended.
Kurt Sutter is truly GENIUS!
Uh, no. Not at all. David Simon, creator of THE WIRE, among other things, is a genius. Sutter is an amateur compared to him, and Sutter himself would probably admit it.
VicInNocal STFU
Agree don't let the show end . If anyone can spin it in a way that the show goes on it that man right there
i love soa and cast
I got the vibe that the homeless girl was Death itself, always besides Jax, up until the very last episode.
Youre probably right, i think she resembled karma because shes always around when someone is about to get their karma
Jesus was Jesus.
To me - Sons was epic - mucha suerte, Kurt Sutter.
Here's my thoughts on the homeless lady...(spoiler warning for anyone who hasn't watched the whole series)
It was made more or less clear that she is the mother of Jax's now baby sitter, the one who broke the window at the ice cream shop.
I do believe she is dead, that she in fact died in the pile up with JT (as some may disagree). For whatever reason, this woman looks over Jax and his family for JT. She always seems to pop up in critical points when Jax is conflicted.

OR - This is just another incredible brainchild of Kurt Sutter meant to leave fans forever questioning each other on RUclips...

I've always thought it was JT, her appearances are always carefully timed.
Bit late to the party. But yeah I was convinced she was the girls mother. Jay even says when he is at her home talking to her dad that he thought he recognised her when he looks at a photo of her. That seemed about as clear as could be to me??!

slimshady5050 yes i also heard this
Seby Gomez kind of late but i read that she is the angel of death.
I'm a big SOA fan. I recently discovered me & Kurt Sutter are from the same hometown in Jersey. Crazy it's really a small world.
I think the homeless girl is rat's girlfriends mother who died in the pile up that JT died in, I think she is dead but jax can still see her in a way she is there to guide jax to his fate as you see her before or after some of the tragedies in the story and in every one she helps jax in his path. +DominicVolition you're right.
She's the reaper.
+Dylan lang But Gemma meets her too?
+Harry Pookybladder good point
Yeah when he sees the photo of the guy and his wife he says he’s seen her before
A sons prequel WHEN can't wait for that excellent news
Able has de ring.....SON....i think you can make a spin off of it!
3:04 why is Larrys face like that😭😭😂😂
Because he's prehistoric
The End....the most heartbreaking thing that ever happened in tv land.

I want him to make the book i hope he makes it
i think the sons are like the hells angels
The actors of Happy and Frankie were members of Hells Angels.
Damn and now we’ll never get the prequel. Hopefully he still makes the book.
Margos, The Shield
i need more SOA!!!
OMG I cannot believe he said he will not reveal the backstory of the homeless woman in season 7! I LOVE THIS SHOW!
Right thats insane. I need to know who she is.
Lakeysha Burnley He already kind of revealed who she was. The girl that attacked the ice cream shop with the pipe wrench is the daughter of the homeless women that everyone thought died in John Tellers pile up accident.
Partyman897 but noone really knows that so its hard to say.

Its a shame it doesn't look like we're ever going to get the prequel about the Original 7.
There should be a movie, once the prequel and the sequel have run their course. Can already say it's too long between productions. Gotta have my SOA!
5:17 pause, I love the freemasonry hand shake, right hand press hard on second knuckle! He makes shows and tv, while larry is media, those 2 go hand in hand.
It’s mind blowing that otto is the writer of the show

I think the prequel will be called "First 9" :)
KURT SUTTER IS A FUCKIN' GENIUS!
Man he played otto so good
I think it would be awesome if he's going to continue with Abel
There's going to be a prequel! Where should i look out for it?
FX
About 2 or 3 at least.
The Creator & Director of the series
Prequel will be after Bastard Executioner *suppose to be*
I hope the Mayans will go on despite the fact that he was fired.
So there will be a prequel to SOA. When is this suppose to happen since Sutter has so many others things line up to work on?
Hey, its supposed to be after 'The Bastard Executioner', which is an entirely different show. He said he wants to take a break from SoA for a couple years before he starts the prequel.
So what’s the prequel?
It's sooooooo crazy seeing Otto normal!!!!!
These are some awesome twitter questions; e.g the journals, manuscript, homeless lady, the character of Unser, has the plot ended up what you sought out to do.
Just bring it back - no need for saying more
I have not seen season 7 yet because I knows it's the ending 😢
Kurt it would fantastic if you make a “First 9”
I think the homeless lady is the mother of that one girl who ended up working with jax at the ice cream shop i dont think her mother died
Kurt Sutter was the only casualty of the second Mexican Revolution. He created the show The Mayans and FX and the actors took away from him.
Such a shame he didnt do the prequel
jax did an interview and aid he was signed through season 8 am I the only one who caught on to this ???
It should be great to make crossover between Sons of Anarchy and True Detective. At least Ruhst Cohle once was undercover with MC.
He should make an alternative timeline where opie didn’t die and the script went in a different direction and they all evolve into their characters to give us more
2020
Missed SOA
I know i will get a lot of hate from saying this, but I really want Jax to die in an epic scene, so epic is would be more tragic than opie's death.
Me 2 brother
EricGhosts but i do not think it is going to ahppen i think jax fuxxing kills gemma and nero after that everything is possible :)

Luke Jones unlikely
Luke Jones He is currently making a Mayan MC show
who knows which brand of glasses is Kurt wearing?
real Mc is closest to sons of anarchy is fairly simple sons of silence
Christopher Nixon close but they are 1 %er sons of anarchy are not
yeah sons of anarchy act like 1%er but again thats a show Exclusive clan
I Hate It When Opie Was Killed Off The Show
Is Kurt sutter otto ?

Yes he is

I also felt Johnny Lewis leaving the show did something to the storyline. It seem like they had plans for Half Sack before the actor quit.
He died in real life man. :/
I know he died, this was way before he left SOA though. he didn't kill himself while still being a cast member.

The reason this show ending was so bad is because Sutter has no idea how to finish a story properly.
