Juice's character arc and death was one of the hardest arcs/deaths in TV for me. So glad that Tig and Chibs made it through.
Opie was the roughest for me
Juice’s arc just got dumb and silly.
@@Ivantheterrible81280 Yeah, kind of jumped the shark a little bit, but he was one of my fave characters from the beginning- it just sucked the path he went down.
@@Ivantheterrible81280 yeah the storyline was stupid as fuck for juice
@@Pyroplanet1993 still traumatic to even talk about
Kim Coates gave an award worthy performance as Tig. The character arc... the acting... the commitment to the role.
yeah when that terrible thing happened to that person related to him and he was helpless and forced to watch that person being set on fire was heartbreaking. I was vague for spoilers but maybe the people watching this have seen all of it.
The constantly being bitten in the ass
That is definitely a true thing about Kim Coates playing Tig, there is no question that he was committed to his role.
Katie segal is probably the best actress ever... me and my girl hated her so much... yet we loved her. What a great show.
the hate i feel for Gemma is unmatched, which makes me love Katey lol. She sings so beautifully too
Standard, villians are the best thou
Me and my girl love her. We always quote junkie whore lmao
Alternative reality where Lela joins a biker gang after Fry dies
K.S. played that character so well. Hated Gemma so much!!
I was for real bummed for a few days after that scene with Opie.
Met Theo, Ron, and Charlie at FanX this year. Ron was how you’d expect him to be; very reserved but still respectful. Charlie had so many people rallying around him and yet he kept such the best attitude and was so sweet within the 20 seconds I met him. Theo was so engaging and such a sweetheart, mentioned that him and Kim had just gotten done watching SOA together for the first time. Best show watching growing up as I was basically my own kind of Abel. My parents were part of a club and I was sheltered from a lot than I realized. This show hits home.
One of my favorite shows of all time!! and every one of y'all kicked ass... as a matter of fact everyone who acted in SOA did a hell of a job!! I loved it from beginning to end...
There will never be anything else like it. Ppl held church every Tuesday.

Did you see KURT SUDDERS next project tht only lasted one season after SONS?
The BASTARD EXCUCTIONER.
IT was soooo freaking good
If you ever worked with great people this is what it sounds like. I love that they didn’t just make a great show for all of us but they formed genuine and authentic relationships. A lesson for all of us in future jobs! God bless you guys! The money and fame must be phenomenal but the friendships are priceless. Thank you for your work and the examples you set of supporting your peers! ❤
still re-watch the entire series time to time
SOA is one of my top 5 favorite shows of all time. Great acting. Great writing. The 'Brotherhood' between these guys was CLEARLY apparent. I am and Sons of Anarchy fan for life. Kudos to the cast and crew.
Absolutely brilliant show and the brotherhood aspect is probably the most important part of it.
Whats your top 5? Sopranos has gotta be in there surely :)
Definitely one of the greatest shows of all time
Brotherhood ?? but if they betray each other and kill each other continuously from the first to the last episode? do they fuck each other in the ass? but how do you see the movies upside down? 🤦♂️😅
This was awesome!! I bet talking to all them was a amazing experience.
I've read stories about how some cast members lied about knowing how to ride, but when Kim says it, it's so much more funnier!!
Loved the first few season of this show. Great editing, great interviews 👌
@@DIRTYdeeds613 jax was murdering everyone lol
@@Iobsterpeterson I honestly think it started going downhill after season 2
Show went downhill when Opie died
Great just finished I enjoy every minute of it 👍
When Theo talked about being together so intensely for 8 years, it reminded me that an actor I worked with (I'm a retired audio book producer), once said that working on a long series is like being at high school, again - a whole lot of people who mostly don't know each other, and/or haven't chosen to be with each other, coming to the same place, every day, for years, but even more intense because every individual there is responsible for everyone getting good grades on a single, enormously complicated group project! 😂
All the dynamics play out: the main cast are the good looking, (seemingly) confident kids, around which everything circles; guest actors and new actors have to learn to fit in like new kids do; the A/V club kids and the theatre tech kids are the techies and props people but with more confidence because it's their career, now; the directors and producers are the teaching staff who you may or may not like but you have to take direction from; and if it's a generational series like a soap (she was specifically talking about "Neighbours"), within the stable cast there will even be age and experience based groups, just like year levels.
My favorite scene with Chibbs was the scene in the school bus before Opie offs the Special Investigator and Chibbs is holding a Juice box of Jameson. Classic Irish humor.
Chibbs is fae Glesga which is in Scotland not Ireland.
@@Delboy219 I pray that one day you will forgive my mistake. This will eat at me forever. I can't believe I was so stupid.
@@BoozefighterSpanky Forgiven my son
@@BoozefighterSpanky
The embarrassing part is not that you mistook him for an Irishman but the fact you pretended to understand Irish humor.
Chibs- “ I love Ron Pearlman, I love his politics” Who knew the SOA Reapers were full on wokesters 😂😂
Last boy scout is one of those underrated gems imo
💯
Kim was great in that movie
Do you even know what underrated means? Jesus
Oh yeah. it was great. Such a bitter cynical action film !
My favourite movie movie growing up that and lethal weapon 1 watched them constantly on VHS 😂
Opie death killed me I cried hard very few times on a show it was like he was my brother
His death in the show stayed with me for a while , ugh just everything about from all aspects was deep , and horrible .
There’s a lot of fans, don’t get me wrong but there’s still a lot of people that haven’t watched the show which is crazy! Everyone that I talk about shows with, I tell them it’s a must watch. These guys were all so great and I miss this show.
Right?! After seeing this with the guys, I’m going to legit buy all the seasons. I need to own this and they deserve my pennies.
I tried watching it & didn't get past the first episode. Looked boring
EASILY one of my favorite shows of all time 🖤🖤 miss it so much.
ME TOO‼😬‼ Really Miss the SON'S‼
Tommy Flannigan is the coolest looking dude
I love him. He was my favorite on the show.
SOA is my all time favourite show. Watched it through like 7 times, never gets tired of it.
Thanks for an amazing show guys. I hope samcro will return at some point in the future
Agreed!🖤 the ONLY thing I take issue with is Kurt allowin Ethan Zobelle to get away!😒but part of me feels like maybe he planned to have his character resurface at some point and it just didn't come to fruition.
Best show ever ,Kurt Sutter could have taken it further I think it had something to do with Bastard Exucutioner,he thought that was going be a hit like SOA but it wasn't,and he killed off most of the main cast ,such a shame !!!
This show was meant for a certain audience. But yet so many people fell in love with the characters. And yes Ron, Charlie were the main character but everyone loved all the other characters. Great show. Thanks for that
Certain audience.
Good way to put it.

@@Bubbles99718 Hah, I'm liberal as can be but loved the show.
@@zorinlynx There are outliers. Demo is probably 90% maga
That’s racist homie
What? I never saw this show being politically inclined to any side. If any whoever the characters are representing are portrayed in a negative light
Great show tried to watch it years ago on Netflix and did not get past the second episode. During the first covid lockdown me and my girlfriend went through the whole show in like 1 week or something loved it.
I wish I could watch it for the first time all over again! 🙌🏻
Never thought I would like a show about motorcycle gangs 😮. ❤it. Great characters. Excellent casting.
These interviews are amazing.
3:39 that's probably because of people like me who spent years putting off watching even though we had tons of friends who said "You gotta watch it!". When I finally relented I was hooked. I've met several folks with similar stories.
Yeah likewise......I've watched it 7 times since it's been out....AND revisting now, needed something to binge lol 😂...have a good one bud 😁✌️
@@garyjarvis8334 not gonna lie it on my short list of shows I've watched completely thru several times. Always notice something different each time also.
Same, I picked it up in S2 or S3 because a friend kept pushing me to watch it. Ended up being one of my all time favorites. I did the same with Mayans, started late and I plowed through all 4 seasons in a few weeks.
I just started watching a couple months ago and glad I finally watched it.
Same here, somehow it always slit under my radar and I finally decided to watch it two years ago. Worth every moment.
Is this where you got the idea for Talkville? cause if so that is incredible and I love it! I am all caught up with Talkville and watch every Wednesay and now I gotta watch all of Reaper Review my goodness.
8:27 *I SAW A INTERVIEW CHARLIE DID & HE SAID "FOR 7 YRS STRAIGHT, I NEVER DROVE A CAR, I RODE A MOTORCYCLE EVERYWHERE.....NOT JUST TO WORK, BUT NEVER DROVE A 4 WHEELED VEH & WAS SO STRANGE TO DRIVE AGAIN AFTER 7 YRS!!!", THATS DEDICATION TO UR PART IN A SHOW.*
Absolutely the best show ever. This cast could not have been better. It will never happen again, heartbreaking and sweet😊
Lol
Kim Coates is my fave on SOA, and I adored how they treated his relationship with Venus.
Making him deluded?
@@RenegadeShepTheSpacer Not being transphobic is deluded?
Making him a mook
That was pretty damn cool, wasn't it! I loved Tig. And I adored Walt Goggins/Venus. It was so ballsy, so well done, so unapologetic, and very, very human. Like, what humans SHOULD be. What we have the potential to be.
Well. All the violence, death, and felonious behavior aside, that is. LOL!
@@RenegadeShepTheSpacer Dude. Grow up. Seriously. And if you understood the character of "Tig" at all, you'd get how the ability to see beyond the surface was totally in his mental and emotional wheelhouse.
This show has been on the back burner for me for quite some time now. I'm gonna watch it now, and really start cooking it.
It is a once view show though
The last 2 or 3 seasons were just repetitive like anyshow tht has more than 4 or 5 season
I categorize SoA with shows like Band of Brothers.. The brotherhood for me is something so special that I can relate to in real life.
Gay?
I like teh kock
Such a great show! I even got into the Mayans show as well
People do not understand when u been through a brotherhood an then it’s gone wether it’s bikers or war ! It grows a hole in your heart that u got to fill up when it’s gone !!!
Love it as a kid now have my own bike just finished rewatching it still just as good
You watched SOA as a kid?!!?
It was one of the only shows that me and my dad and my brother and even my oldest sister would sit down and watch every new episode on TV we never did that especially after Netflix had come out and it was amazing it was a great show of course if you knew what it was based off of you knew exactly how the ending of the story was going to be it was just how were we going to get there.
pushing the boundaries of whats acceptable on tv but ultimately using it as a necessary piece vital to the story and tragic roller coaster that show and its characters went through. Its a cautionary tale lol
Love these guys
Ive seen all the movies Tig was talking about and recently. And still only recognize him from Sons 😳
Took a while to get going, but SOA really found something special.
I’m afraid of heights. One year, my father-in-law needed help mending squirrel damage on the second storie roof of his home. The only thing that got me through it was singing the theme song for SOA to myself the entire time.
Gayyyyy
@@DatBoiChris420 loud and proud brother, loud and proud!
The talent these 3 have! Ron Pearlman has had some bad@$$ movies the last couple years...u notice how many of these SOA and Mayans MC characters are in new movies/shows ?! Love it all🤘🛵
One of my favourite shows of all time, just finished it the other day for the second time. Love these guys
Shield was hella underrated. Glad to see theo acknowledge it.
It’s better than Sons
one of my favorite shows of all times. I think I got about 15 friends to get into it as well. one night my wife watched it, then the next day, she was acting like Gemma. lol. Great show from beginning to end
Lmao your wife is so funny 😂
I don’t know if I would ever Re-watch SOA. You have to watch it ONCE to appreciate the show.
Opie was so important and when left- it was almost incomprehensible and acceptable. Great show! Up with Sopranos
I had my fiancé finally watch the Sopranos for the first time, he LOVED it, and while we were watching I was thinking to myself, “God, Sons of Anarchy would be an amazing follow-up companion to this.” He’s currently in the beginning of season five and absolutely loves it. It’s amazing getting to re-experience both series, falling in love with SOA and Sopranos all over again.
Hi, i understand what he was saying. I remember a job I had and a place that I lived that only when I moved to a different job and location did I recognised how stressful a situation it had been. When you are in it it can be difficult to see it.
I like how Kim said Ron Pearlman was cranky on set 😂 I remember reading him and Kurt Sutter, the show runner, had beef towards the end lol
That show was when I realized the brilliance of Walton Goggins
U can see his talent in The Shield wayyyyyy before this
Crazy how they all look younger now than on the show! Tells you how hardcore it was to shoot!!😮🤣
I’m literally rewatching Sons as I came across this
Give reaper reviews a watch 👊🏽
Met Ron, not cranky at all, very down to earth, meeting Theo and Ryan next march
I loved it & miss it!
When asked if it was emotionally drainin for the actors,it HAD to be because as a fan just watchin was stress-inducing! Like u know it's a show n still get swept up in the emotion!😩
i met mark boone and tommy flanagan last year it was sooo surreal
Must give that other watch it was really awesome!
1:16 wasn't Kim Coates Character on Sons of Anarchy I forgot didn't his Character Swing for the Same Team him and Walter Scoggins Characters on the Series?! And it's Real Rare for me to an interview With Kim Coates not in Villain Persona he seems like a real great Guy Still remember him from last Boy Scout 1991 alongside Bruce Willis as the Antagonist?! Aw K Coates is a Sincere Class act totally different from the Roles he plays wow it's amazing really!🤔😳👍🏽😃
The Last Boy Scout Boooyyyaaaa Babbbbyyy! Never forgot his character.
Of course David Labrava knew how to ride
Love Theo especially in these interviews wow. Clearly so much love and appreciation for the experience even despite the real challenges he described. Mad respect for him, his performance as Juice was layered and evolved
I enjoyed the first couple of seasons but I did felt a major decline after the 5th season. I think they were missing the point of show and kept the show going just because.
Season 6 sucked, mostly because of how annoying Jax and Tara were, but season 7 was awesome.
It went on longer than it needed to. It was a ‘grounded’ human show that then had too many humans and ground to cover and kept spiraling from what we originally saw which was JT and his ghost over the club and Jax to relive it or revive it. They turned most characters on their extreme, Jax was just a mass murderer. The final season felt too like “look at this! Here’s the end! Jax will
Die!” I think the story concept and actors were great but I think if they had 5 seasons planned out and ready it would have been even greater. It’s still amazing but the end really was a come on that’s how we end this ?
Breaking bad and sons of anarchy were good times.
I’ve binge watch both every few years.
In your opinion what's better I watched sons and absolutely loved it but idk if I wanna watch breaking bad??
@@ytexevesdude, go watch Breaking Bad and then Better Call Saul right after. Two of the greatest shows ever (my favorites personally). Sons is in my top 5 or so but it fell off the last season
Juice is my favorite character...he was in Jericho too.
The fact that Tommy Flanagan has never actually seen SOA, is kinda funny to me.
Tig still looks like he filmed the last episode yesterday lol
I think they could easily do it again. Making a prequel. "First 9", maybe when Jax was prospecting / coming up. I mean they have plenty of options for things they could do with the show.
Yeah, that's the show I always wanted to see, even if it's only a limited series, which is probably the best way to do it, that way they don't add too much ruining things from the og show.
I haven't watched the spin-off yet, is it any good? (if you've watched it of course)
Ron Perlman is way too old now. Taking new actors would just break everything
Ron Perlman is my guy. Such a good voice.
I likey SOA the first play thru. I made the mistake of rewatching it and jax's character killed it for me.
Good show
Kim Coates is such an awesome and sweet man.
Eu amo sons anarchy já assisti seis vezes e vou assistir pela sétima vez sou muito fã ❤❤❤
I would love to see la brava come on
Hmm… pretty odd choice in title tbh. Definitely threw me off and video was completely different than I was expecting from the title… the title lead me to believe it (filming/making the show) was really bad experience behind the scenes.
Smallville and SOA were great shows salute to y’all
Every character arc in that show is legendary, stays in your soul forever.
Watch the show Bad Blood if you wanna see Kim Coates in his glory 👍🏻👍🏻
Fuckin kick ass show!
Loved that show.
That show is badass
Sons was legit one of the GOATed shows
The Wire and Sons , I personally think are the two greatest tv series of all time. People talk Thrones , TWD or Breaking Bad and none of them come close to THAT scene with CLAY or OPEY.
Maybe cos I like metal, bikes and whisky but something about this cast was perfection to me. I loved and hated all which made it so great.
I loved BB but Sons is more interesting to me, I don't understand why it's not as famous as BB
No way charlie was brilliant in sons , and 99% of people had tears in their eyes when it ended, but everyone of them guys made sons so fucking good
It was such an incredible show. I hope that Charlie Hunan can put together the reprise of Jax Teller and include these guys!
How would like work though, like he survived running into the semi?
Jax is dead
Best TV show of all time!
Agree I've watched all seasons a few times over. Show was the absolute best, my opinion! Not enough words to express.❤
3:11 exactly Juice. Mayans is the living example of this statement!❤️
Casting, writing, acting- all superb. An expression of excellence in storytelling. Mayan spin-off works well too.
It’s a good show. Highly recommend it!
Juice really got it “in the end”…
😃😃😃
I feel like a piece of me died when this show ended
the trauma us sons fans went through lmao, to this day, sons stays in my top 5
I can see why the sixth and final seasons were grueling. It was pretty intense from a viewer vantage point, so Im sure it was hard on the cast and crew.
I didn’t recognize Theo with hair for about 15 seconds. Then it clicked.
Sounds like Sons of Anarchy wasn't problematic at all. Sounds like making it was mostly great, with the occasional injury.
The only issue I have with SoA was how they replaced "Fuck" with "Jesus Christ". It was absurd. Mayans is so much better with "Fucks".
Never notcied that
What a weird issue to have about it tbh lol
Yeah, for some reason, back then, F-bombs weren't allowed on SOA. I mean, sure, you heard them said "Shit" or "Goddamn" but they're still tame in comparison to "Fuck"
There were sure a lotta jc's on SOA for sure.
FX went through a phase until about 2017
They brought the F Bombs back on the Cult season of AHS, then the next year when Mayans started
I'm glad they did so because it's weird to have a gritty show with rough bikers who fight cartels, white supremacists and other bikers, but still wouldn't cross the line with extremely vulgar language 😂
4:30 "being tense"
7:00 tight schedule (always in character
There is nothing to like about Ron Perlman's politics.
Unless you're a sheep
SOA is da show da comes once in a lifetime ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I loved SOA. It was nonsense, but so entertaining.
Ok I‘m from austria and obviously I watched the sons of anarchy in german but wtf… the voice of tommy xD wowwww wouldn‘t expect that slang (?)
Bro ich auch und dann hab ich es nochmal auf Englisch geschaut und es war der hammer
Juice…with hair! 🙂❤️
well looks like it's time to rewatch SOA.
