Thanks, Bob, for the compliments on the Auto-RSK. I sincerely appreciate it! One minor correction, 45 states now allow possession of automatic (switchblade) knives (some with restrictions), 36 with No or Limited Restrictions on Possession or Everyday (Open) Carry and 29 allow Concealed Carry.

I recently ordered the Jade auto rsk, should arrive Monday or Tuesday. It will be my 4th Doug Ritter Hogue. Currently have the green full size in magnacut and 2 20cv minis, 1 purple & 1 blue.
The Doug Ritter Hogues are very special knives.... I've never come across a knife that breaks in so perfectly like the Ritter Hogues. Before I knew about the Ritter Hogues I purchased both the freek and freek mini. Great knives but for almost half the cost you can get a better design while still having your choice of high end magnacut / 20cv steel. The hogue axis style lock feels better and more consistent than Benchmade. It's even better than kizers axis style lock which is really saying something.

Totally agree! Years back I only collected auto and OTF style knives and kind of got bored with them. What actually got me back into autos was both the Benchmade Osborne 9400, "One of the best designs that can take insane abuse for it's size" and both of the pro-tech godfather & godson....
I honestly wasn't aware of the Doug Ritter Hogues until I received a birthday present from my boss. We both often talk about knives and guns. Anyway, he gifted me the purple Ritter hogue mini in 20cv and that knife IMMEDIATELY became my favorite small size knife. I decided to go with the jade rsk auto and my goodness is that an amazing knife. The blade snaps out with such authority and has the best blade lockup I've seen from an auto.... Since getting those two Ritter Hogues I've been on a quest to get all styles of the Ritter Hogues. I wish knifeworks would come out with more colors and styles.

I have the manual and I really enjoy it. I agree about the pocket clip screws and also don’t like the branding on it. His name is on the blade so I don’t like the extra branding. Not a big deal though
