Where did you pick up the Ah 50 Lithium battery ? And cost ?? Does have to be kept in a water tight container ? I've heard lithium batteries and water don't mix. Thanks !

Looks like a nice new rig, congrats! Hard to beat those plastic worms on Lake Springfield. Only so many warm days left before the cold weather starts. You motivated me to get out there this weekend. Keep on Fishin'!

Is the plank you have mounted at the forward end the same plank they sell for the motor mount? I have the motor mount but like the idea of having a plank up front to mount a few extra things

I’m late to the party. How far can you go on the trolling motor and battery setup?

Well the battery I use is a 50 Ah lithium. I've been out on the water for 6 hours before, and never ran out of juice. The watersnake trolley motor uses anywhere from 9 to 20 Ah, so in theory, I could run it anywhere from 2.5 to 5.5 hours continuous.

What cart are you using? I have basically the same setup except I troll and put a hand crank downrigger and fish finder on the plank in front

I’m looking to get this kayak. Is it pretty stable while fishing?
