Moving into an apartment soon and I produce music. Mostly on headphones which is great but when I have guests over to sing etc I need some speakers and don't want big Yamaha HS7's blasting through my neighbours walls - do you recon these could help? Contain a small enough sound in the room with adjustable bass if needed?
@@FatTonyTheSkipper how did it work? Same situation here, apartment bedroom with carpet...giving the hs7 a rest til I know my neighbors. How did they work for this?
You would even get better sound from your iPad if you use the OP-Z as sound card to it since DAC is better in the OP-Z than any Apple product out there... But yes Bluetooth would at least make you pass the crappy DAC from Apple... Try the difference would love to hear what you think! :)
This is a super helpful and insightful comment! Didn’t know anything about poor DAC on iPads! I’ll do some experimenting and talk about it in a subsequent video! Thanks man!
Haha it’s called the OP-Z! amzn.to/3xtJakt There’s a lot I can say about why it’s one of my favorite, (if not my actual favorite) pieces of musical equipment. I’ve done quite a lot of vids on it. I've had to return my I loud micros after 2 months as there is a known issue for the cabinets rattling at certain frequencies. This mainly happens with dance music and creations a wheezing noise. Such a shame as these are really good speakers, but thet really are too good to be true. Massive let down.
Yep I had the same issues with I loud micros... They are no good if you need to make any music with deep sub bass they distort and rattle and cannot handle it.
My understanding from a few reviews of these speakers is that they have a couple of noise issues, one being a audible hiss at zero volume and the other being some sort of occasional high pitched whine at power up. Any experience with either? Definitely wanting to pick up a pair, but those reports are in a lot places.
Appreciate you chiming in! This will be perfect to test on my subsequent full in depth review… the audible hiss is definitely there when the RCA y cable is not connected to anything. I think this is normal for any speaker or interference. And I haven’t heard any such high pitch whine when powering up. Just the beep to let you know it’s connected to Bluetooth!
The cabinets also rattle creating a wheezing noise that you can hear when playing certain frequencies.it seems as though nearly all reviews have missed this. I've returned my pair......
@@Khordmaster No, not yet. I saw them in a few gear reviews and also looked at a bunch of customer reviews that said they were on another universe basically.
