Whereas with the finals it always feels like you are using the whole clip if you are perfect aim which just feels off.
You know what game would destroy Apex? Titanfall 3.....the game that died for Apex's sins. Titanfall 2 had the movement everyone wanted, modes outside of BR, and most importantly servers. TF2 servers were 60 tick. Apex being on 20 tick is inexcusable. Fortnite and PUBG's success made Respawn/EA want to get in on it.....but instead of making TF 3 and adding a BR mode they doubled down. As an ex player and day 1 player I don't miss Apex and pissed that TF2 is still a better game. TF 3 could have been what FPS needed.
Apex has the best movement in any video game ever created bringing up movement from titan fall when you can’t even do 1/8th of the things you can in apex legends especially early apex legends
I redownloaded apex yesterday. Found out that the computer that ran it just fine years ago now has stuttering issues. That's another reason, for me, why some games i just have to leave games on hiatus. Games increase their load demands for gpu when adding stuff over the years, and unfortunately, some people can't keep upgrading their stuff to play it.
The finals is trash. Heavyweights breaking the building and those stupid indestructible foam walls are terrible for the game maybe without a weight system it would be ok but apex was better
@@mibbzx1493 The "foam walls" are totally destructible. Fire, rpg, mines, or just straight up shooting them. I don't think you actually tried it long enough to call it trash homie
@ nah they definitely weren’t when the game first came out and in the beta so it got patched which is good. but its still not better than apex i got 1000+ hours on apex and the finals i didn’t make it past a week 💀 heavy weights literally breaking entire buildings and being damn near unkillable compared to the lights and mediums. It was super unbalanced but i played it a year ago so
The Finals definitely has a little bit of a learning curve, but honestly the lack of cheaters and kbm actually being a good pick make it so much more fun for me. The monetization is also muuuuuch better.
Didn't the Finals have some pretty funky controller aim assist? I remember on release you could just plug a controller in and spam ADS to laser someone
@@manoflead643 Nowadays AA isn't a big issue, nothing OP I do have a few hundred hours and rn everything is much better as long as you stay away from terminal attack
I didn't like whatever they did recently, I rarely play but last 2 times I didn't enjoy the game at all anymore. Meta was just famas hitting me every game and new ranked mode isn't fit for that play style of a game, rather play siege lol
I quit apex like 10 times since season 7 and the last time i did quit it’s for good i was a decent player but now i can’t compete anymore, now i mainly play single player games cause i don’t want to lose my mind over sweats anymore
same too much movement gods, terrible rng, I just couldn't compete anymore I had work in the morning lmaoooo I'd rather spend my time playing something meaningful
I started playing apex back in december 2023, got really hooked on the game but now im not playing as much anymore. The fact that they removed duos, the battlepass rework and in generel the rank system (why am i as silver/gold able to face people in the top rank, makes no sense to me)
I haven't really "quit" Apex. I play maybe like twice a year with friends but NEVER in my life will i play it by myself because of how fckd matchmaking is. I just hit level 200 the last time i played, have never got past gold in ranked, and yet every single match i play no matter what mode, i die instantly to either ex preds, preds, or masters players. It completely takes the fun out of the game and makes it extremely unenjoyable. (yes i know this is a "skill issue" but i should not need to be a pro apex player that plays apex religiously to have fun on the game)
I got tired of the Battle Royale experience. I rocked with Apex from the beginning to 2022. I'm a vet and i realized the adrenaline rush you get from playing BR's is close to what i felt when i was deployed on missions. Same feeling from gambling. So i moved to bf2042, ufc 3, single-player games but now i learned how to play golf, so im doing that
I’ve been playing Apex since Day 1 and the best thing that’s come out of it for me is just being able to get the homies together 4-5 times a week and chat. When you live hours from your friends it’s tough to keep in touch, but Apex literally makes it feel like we’re next door neighbors
Occasional Titanfall 2 for my Respawn fix, main game is definitely the THE FINALS. You'd like finals a LOT more if you tried the other classes & used some of that crazy map destruction for yourself. At least try the dematerializer if you're gonna roll medium only. Hope to see ya take it for another spin.
Apex has hundreds of issues that have gone unaddressed for years, meanwhile the game is constantly updated with brand new forms of monetization. It was the first time a game's pain points absolutely overpowered the sunk-cost fallacy for me 😅
Honestly I used to play Apex a lot and randomly I tried out Dead By Daylight and I've been enjoying it. Its super different and I never would have guessed liking it, but I guess you jus never know
I genuinely would love to see you play more Helldivers 2. The later difficulties with late game strategems are insane, and the way the 'galactc war' evolves is great and keeps me coming back
@Qw4ntum I'm clarifying on how much work , time and skill I've put into the game. If the topic is 'Where are these players', you wouldn't care about a 1st time player or bronze player. I'm a season 1 player with 100k plus kills. Clarifying where I stood in the game was just as important and needed. If this feels like a flex for you maybe grow some skin. I'm outlining my frustration with the game and sharing where I left off and where I went to is all ❤️ Knowing what type of players left is important information.
Hey, same here. The first descendents is soo much fun to be honest. I have like 2 k/d in apex legends, I am not that bad I think. But lately i just can't kill a single one.
your variety comment about gaming at the end of the video, is so spot on. Apex and it's grind and how intense it can be, messed with my mental health massively. I've seen this also happen with a lot of people on that game. I quit for mental health reasons and now I don't even know what game to pick up again. This video has helped heaps. Subscribed
The reason Apex doesn't click to me at all is that it ia battle royale. It's the game mode where you never win until you get lucky with terrible lobbies or extremely good in the game spending time on it at daily basis for 4-6 hours and additional 2 hours in kovaaks. You lose once, get frustrated, then repeat whole process again until you get annoyed to the point of no-return, then you continue the next day until the total mental breakdown. I really wish there was titanfall 3
My answer to your community post, and maybe a suggestion for the second channel, is Rocket League! It really scratches the competitive itch for me, the skill ceiling is INSANELY high, but you can also just hop on and goof around in a few matches. It's easy to dismiss as "arcade car soccer" but if you put a little bit of time into it to learn the flow and basic mechanics, it can be one of the most replayable games in your library.
i quit apex last year after i hit diamond, i just stopped enjoying the game, it felt like it was the same thing over and over again, and i started enjoying other games, i still love apex, and i hope i can return one day
in my opinion the biggest problem in apex is when you play with randoms. 90% of randoms leave once they get knocked leaving you in a 1v2/1v3 witch is a big problem and makes the game less fun when it happens almost every game.
i would try the finals a bit more, I stopped playing it for the longest time because the game modes got stale for me and i wasn't all that good at it (30hrs). At the time off typing this I have just over 100hrs and the world tour and 5v5 game modes are very addicting once you get the hang of everything.
My two biggest issuers. The hit registration just feels behind more often than not. All the remaining players are Diamond+ sweats that run me down like they’re being told to at gun point. I just don’t have fun when it feels more like I have to do my homework constantly to stay competitive against the sweats.
3:20 exactly! I agree with that person 100% finals is better than Apex I would rather play that then Apex The problem with Apex is it caters to your typical sweaty basement dwellers then your average player and to prove that what did they do they took away aim assist on controller console players. And before all those people who sit there and say Oh you're just trash at the game get better bro I used to have a 2.00 KD on cod that's well above average.and pretty decent.
I switched to RDR2 after being a loyal Apex Legends player since Season 1. The game peaked for me in Season 9, but I stuck around until Season 22. Unfortunately, the matchmaking system has driven me away. It feels like the algorithm is designed to keep players hooked, not to match players based on skill. The constant fluctuations between tough and easy lobbies are frustrating and unfair.
I am super sad I missed the vote for games. I would love to see and hear your take on GTFO. I have played it quite a bit and even when losing, the drive to do better and beat the mission the next time is strong.
I was a big Apex player but since the finals released S0 I’ve been hooked. Plus it’s really refreshing having a game studio listen and care for their community. Highly recommend for you to try out S5
I was one of the longest players playing Apex in my friend group starting from season 0 to season 18. I got bored and Apex has gotten really stale over the years. I got more into overwatch and I had some friends to play with. I also started play other random games and Monsters Hunter world is something I really got into. When it comes to battle royale Apex will be the only game I would really play.
I Stream on TikTok mainly, i first started playing Apex on stream but i QUICKLY burned out. (this was like 2 years ago). I decided to go back and stream classic games that i grew up playing. It ended up being the best decision. now that i have a solid foundation i can periodically go back and play apex and just have fun. I think its a testament to how good it is that it is still even around, given all the other live service games that have come and cancelled since 2019.
Post Malone switched from Apex to Hunt Showdown. Surprising to switch from a fast pace/movement to a relatively slow one with slow fire rate and reload, but a very fast TTK (just 1 to 2 shots). Not many apex players would enjoy going from fast to slow pace unless trying to discover and try niche games. Interestingly, some of my apex friends left FPS completely and switched to MOBA, League or Dota.
Five years old game, and unable to attract new players. Whenever a new player jumps on apex they'll be destroyed to oblivion because of the poor match making (which is probably a challange for devs as it is only the sweats left). I would happily wait a few minutes if it meant better matchmaking. If matchmaking takes 5 minutes to find players of similar level, they could create a waiting mode where you hang out in a neverending team deathmatch where players come in and out while waiting for their battle royal game's queue to come up. I would much rather jump around shooting players in shooting range for 5 minutes while I wait for my match to queue if it meant I was matched with people of similar skills than get instant queue and then be shit on, return to lobby frustrated and repeat.
I mainly play Halo, and it's been interesting to see some Apex players coming over. I mostly run into them in Snipers / SWAT lobbies and y'all have been pretty solid teammates. Like, lemme just say, thank you Apex players for actually using in game coms! It used to be that basically everyone would have a mic back in the day but that's really fallen off, and the communication gap is real when trying to coordinate plays.
I have played since season 1, i spent almost 3 years in my high school just to study and play Apex. I played it on laptop, ps4, pc. And i quit playing it in season 14-15 maybe i dont remember. The lattest champion that came out when i quit was Mad Maggie. What a memory!
Quick cash is not the best finals game mode, tournament is the best and since there’s 4 teams it’s a lot better paced and you often get into 1v1 battles instead of 1v1v1
Kandy playing Minecraft was just wild to me lmao 😂 never thought I would see that. I loved seeing you playing all of these different games. A game rotation would be nice to see from you Kandy.
It was a cold, dark, winter night. I was playing Apex Ranked and I was on that sweet succulent masters chase. 7 hours later, I got it. It felt good...for about 5 minutes. I spent so much time grinding and trying to prove to myself that i can be some of the best of the best for this game...and for what? I was genuinely and quite literally, physically and mentally tired of this game. So I switched to more casual games and it literally felt a weight pressing down on my brain was being lifted. The first of the games that caught my attention was Warframe. It provided and actually rewarded me for my efforts and I didn't need to play for my life each round. So 800 hours and $2000 dollars later...I quit apex pretty much altogether and started to feel something video games haven't made me feel in a long time...rewarded.
As someone that plays a lot of XDef a lot, it hurts that you enjoyed it so much, said you wanted to play it more but had to move on, then never touched on it again
For me, with apex, it's the big maps. They suck. Too much time spent travelling and looting I would rather the smaller maps where one fight leads to another. It makes no sense in a fast paced shooter to be so much time not fighting. Broken moon and storm Point ARE the problem with apex. I bet on it.
Used to play a LOT especially during the pandemic but playtime drastically decreased when I got back to work. I still play sometimes but its so hard to keep up with active players lol . The time I have to play is not enough to even warm-up my mid aim TTuTT I've been chilling on Minecraft tho
This whole video was a clever way of saying yo I’m burnt out of apex and want to be a variety creator 😂nicely done best way I’ve seen someone introduce the second channel this video was like a sample of the second channel
I personally quit apex legends for this split simply because they were asking so much for giving so little, If I wanted skins there is fortnite, if I wanted movement I could play warframe, and if I wanted lore I’d go to every other game that exist. the death animation of the voteless has more depth than anything apex is offering for the past 10 seasons where its either legends marrying each other or some other Concord-esque side quest i could not be bothered to look back fondly
It tough but okay. I played apex since launch since mirage was able to go completely invisible, when lifelines drone was fully physically and pushable and usable in storms, when wraith was a storm camp goddess, when mirage and caustic was the only 2 extra characters till octane and others. I left season 5 came back 8 left 9. Never came back. I will if they do 1 of 3: a good crossover. Way more variety in both guns and characters. Or at least a way to come back without dealing with the 100k and 10k kill players
I dropped apex like 2-3 years ago for Rocket League, Ghost of Tsushima, Deep Rock Galactic, Rainbow six siege, Overwatch and some other Single player games like Red dead 2 and Skyrim, although I dropped it me and my friends like to reinstall it to check out how it’s doing and what new stuff they’ve added. We Made a lot of good memories in Apex legends many years ago so it’s like a tradition for us to visit it every now and then. Also side note: *FOR ROCK AND STONE!!!*
I played Apex a LOT when it first dropped, but when they introduced Arenas, that became about all I played. After they trashed Arenas though, I all but stopped playing. Like the first player in game said about the sweats, Apex quickly became a game you have to be sweaty in to have fun. They let their casual player base fade away and the casuals are who support a game overall - not the handful of die hard sweats that are still playing every day
Every time I've played The Finals I've loved it but I've not switched because none of the friends want to try it. Everyone is still playing Apex. Some did start playing Marvel Rivals and Helldivers but they still play Apex as well.
I wish people would realize COVID played a massive role in the player count. These games still having over 100k in player count is still a massive success. For me, life just got in the way so I typically play once a week if that whenever my friends have time. Outside of that I’m playing single player titles nowadays as these type of games don’t give you a chance to unwind.
The game I can play for hours with friends is Battlefield 2042. It had a disastrous launch and Battlefield fans hate it but it is a great game to just go in and have some fun with friends. It's pacing is similar to Apex as in it is not constant mayhem like Finals and allows time to breath. it is also more of a sandbox which allows for a lot of freedom and lets you play it the way you find more fun.
Watching you guys play Minecraft was an interesting mix of entertainment and frustration. Entertainment, because of Minecrafts emergent gameplay constantly throwing new stuff at you, and frustration at how you were missing or mis-interpreting basic mechanics and rules of the game (torches don't repell monsters, they just prevent them from spawning right there as monsters only spawn in the dark, keeping your hunger bar full is essential to heal, ...).
The Finals is very hectic and the balancing in S1 threw many people off. Still has balancing issues but its really my fav FPS since years. Its night and day compared to apex. Hope its popin off again someday it really deserves it.
i remember i moved house put my pc in a box and i just couldn't find the time to sit down and play games over 1 summer i was able to do all i wanted all day long than all of a sudden life got in my way i i became really busy out of nowhere i've finally gotten back into video games and i think i just stopped because i realised how much better hanging out with the boys in person is and that i can spend my free time doing things way more fun than any video game
im saying this bcs games have gotten boring it feels like every game that comes out now is a copy of some game that came out 10 years ago with a fresh coat of paint after playing games for over 12 years now there isn't really anything "new" just reused ideas
The thing about starting a new game; there is literally no way to tell what's grossly broken without playing 100s of hours to properly feed the matchmaking. What works at low mmr will not be what works at high mmr no matter the game unless there is no mmr.
Haven’t played apex as much now I’m big on Trackmania. I do see the new modes they’ve added and it does draw me to wanting to try it again after being away for so long.
I tried Apex recently after not touching it for 2 years. My word, it has changed soooooo much, and I don’t like the changes. Or maybe I can’t keep up with the changes. Whatever the case, I won’t be touching Apex again.
As a casual player, I've been playing No Man's Sky a lot. Still I've been playing Apex a lot still, i just love open world games. I am grinding in apex to be more competitive because I just want to get better at Apex. I hope Apex thrives because Apex is still fun.
My group stopped playing Apex a while back, tried a few things like Hunt showdown and Overwatch. I'm really optimistic about the new Bungie game Marathon, the extraction shooters are a lot of fun and offer something a bit more rewarding than the Battle Royale. I loved my time playing Apex overall but it was a slog towards the end, and once friends stop playing it's hard to go back to playing solo.
Before the start of the year I played every single season except from season 1 and 2 (played preseason tho) and got more than 2k hours at this point. This year is different tho, as i simply havent played the last 3 seasons. EA is imo only looking for money, trough introducing another ingame currency etc. and doesnt care about really providing a good game with a proper ranked mode etc. EA has to change immensely id say to get apex back to it beeing as hyped and good as it once was...
I'm having a similar "phase" (idk how to put it sry) with another game, very different form Apex imo, but still an FPS and I'm probably quitting after 2K+hours on it. Trying to find something new to play and came across this video. I'm gonna test some of these to see If I get hooked ♥ I'm a subscriber on another account, glad the algorithm brought me here with this new one as well : )

Yeah I’m happy apex is dying game was and always will be ass.
Team Fortress 2 was a great game, I'll give you that.
Apex has the best movement in any video game ever created bringing up movement from titan fall when you can’t even do 1/8th of the things you can in apex legends especially early apex legends
I still play TF2....even if I have to play attrition everytime 😅😅
The finals has been such a refreshing change up after quitting apex, season 3 is pretty solid rn
So hype for s4. Long live the finals!
There was an update last year which gave my PC similar problems. I just went from 8gbRAM to 16gb and it fixed the problem
The finals just needs better advertising to let people know it’s still live. Nobody wants to play a dead game.
The finals is trash. Heavyweights breaking the building and those stupid indestructible foam walls are terrible for the game maybe without a weight system it would be ok but apex was better
@@mibbzx1493 skill issue
@@mibbzx1493just say that your old brain cannot process all the chaos that is going on.
@@manoflead643 Nowadays AA isn't a big issue, nothing OP
I do have a few hundred hours and rn everything is much better as long as you stay away from terminal attack

Your tears fuel our sweat, mm mm mmm😊
same too much movement gods, terrible rng, I just couldn't compete anymore I had work in the morning lmaoooo I'd rather spend my time playing something meaningful
So i moved to bf2042, ufc 3, single-player games but now i learned how to play golf, so im doing that
The Finals let’s gooooooo
Kandy after that VALORANT Boom needs to change his name for Boomdaddy 😂😂
the finals is SO good, please make some videos on it
I still can't believe you still play it. I stopped like 2-3 years ago and still see some of your videos on my notifications. good shi bro
I’ve been playing Apex since Day 1 and the best thing that’s come out of it for me is just being able to get the homies together 4-5 times a week and chat. When you live hours from your friends it’s tough to keep in touch, but Apex literally makes it feel like we’re next door neighbors
This is one of the only reasons I'm still playing it. I play it by myself and it's meh. Playing with friends is ALWAYS better 😂😂😂.
The finals is bloody great
Occasional Titanfall 2 for my Respawn fix, main game is definitely the THE FINALS.
It was the first time a game's pain points absolutely overpowered the sunk-cost fallacy for me 😅
Hundreds? Name 50 issues

Yeah DBD is super fun
same here, recently got into DBD and it's the funniest i had in awhile

I genuinely would love to see you play more Helldivers 2. The later difficulties with late game strategems are insane, and the way the 'galactc war' evolves is great and keeps me coming back

Hey kandy , x6 pred here, x8 masters player. I left for a game called "the finals" and another game called "the first descendants". Apex failed me
Bro’s flexing😂

I haven’t watched one of your videos in a long time, but that little Animated guy on the Right corner and ur voice jus are so soothing and fun 😭🤝
your variety comment about gaming at the end of the video, is so spot on.
Apex and it's grind and how intense it can be, messed with my mental health massively. I've seen this also happen with a lot of people on that game. I quit for mental health reasons and now I don't even know what game to pick up again. This video has helped heaps. Subscribed
I think gaming as a whole just isn’t in a good space a lot of popular titles are struggling in their own ways
End of season always drops alot of players, everyone finished their grinding and burnt out plus all the Bp drama added to that.
Old School RuneScape is popping off right now.
Please don’t stop playing apex Kandy u are one of the best apex tubers, feel free to play other games but apex needs you
i quit apex last year after i hit diamond, i just stopped enjoying the game, it felt like it was the same thing over and over again, and i started enjoying other games, i still love apex, and i hope i can return one day
0:28 EWWWWWWWWWWW
in my opinion the biggest problem in apex is when you play with randoms. 90% of randoms leave once they get knocked leaving you in a 1v2/1v3 witch is a big problem and makes the game less fun when it happens almost every game.
Weird to think im one of those statistics on player's that left tha game. Apex szn 3 was a tiiiiime man
Now im on elden ring, and tryna pay rent
And even tho ion play apex no more, Kandy is a all time RUclipsr in my books 🙌🏿🤞🏿
I’m playing elden ring too man, what a game. I purchased the shadow of erdtree bundle, so I have a lot of time and content to play!
Season 3 😍-🥲-💔-😭 Now
i would try the finals a bit more, I stopped playing it for the longest time because the game modes got stale for me and i wasn't all that good at it (30hrs). At the time off typing this I have just over 100hrs and the world tour and 5v5 game modes are very addicting once you get the hang of everything.
DRG solved my OW addiction. Still play it to this day. Its AMAZING
I remember the overwatch days, good times. Good to see you doing well on youtube Kandy with this cool video idea
This video just keeps on giving. Love variety Kandy & Boom
When I originally quit apex, I was playing a lot of siege and then got into sim racing. Now I come back to apex with a friend every few days
I came from the future, they are in Marvel Rivals.
Recently found your channel, thanks for being so consistent
Banger video. I played HD2 and enjoyed it as well.

“So I went to find them” is hilarious. 😂 nice title dude
Hope its popin off again someday it really deserves it.
apex was my multiplayer service in between real titles games till the finals launch and it was everything that i wanted apex to be
No mention of battle bit? Low key been loving it
i remember i moved house put my pc in a box and i just couldn't find the time to sit down and play games over 1 summer i was able to do all i wanted all day long than all of a sudden life got in my way i i became really busy out of nowhere i've finally gotten back into video games and i think i just stopped because i realised how much better hanging out with the boys in person is and that i can spend my free time doing things way more fun than any video game
im saying this bcs games have gotten boring it feels like every game that comes out now is a copy of some game that came out 10 years ago with a fresh coat of paint after playing games for over 12 years now there isn't really anything "new" just reused ideas
Great video! Keep it up Kandy.
I LOVE THE FINALS🗣💯🔥
the fact you could have just placed blocks and went up but took the long way of mining stone with your fist is sending me
I left apex and have been playing almost exclusively ARMA.
I'm gonna test some of these to see If I get hooked ♥ I'm a subscriber on another account, glad the algorithm brought me here with this new one as well : )
nice!!
