Whats a game like apex, but not apex? That's an easy answer. Titanfall2. The movement beats apex hands down, the game play rocks, and when you get a bit bored, then try and speed run the campaign.
I'm in total agreement with you JanKz, Apex Legends at its core is an absolutely fantastic game and I'll always love it. The only other game that I would describe just as "life changing" that I shared a similar obsession with was when I played WoW from launch to MoP... Just like WoW was my first MMORPG, Apex was my first BR and it absolutely took over once I started playing when season 2 launched. It is so unique, the weapons are amazing and portrayed accurately (for those who are into firearms IRL I'm sure you share a similar appreciation as I do), the movement, the unique mechanics, top to bottom it's brilliant in how it plays. I can't get enough. Sure, a few things need improving and it's a shame the suits that manage the companies that administer the game most likely only care about squeezing as much $$ out of the player base as possible... fix that and it's a winner for years to come.

Apex used to be my whole personality for like 4 years, then it lost its magic and friends stopped playing, so I stopped playing less. What you think of yourself is not necessarily what others think about you, and you certainly don't sound negative. At least from my perspective in your videos I feel like you're just real. I relate to this a lot, man. My 2 friends that I have been playing Apex with since season 0 bought COD and have been playing that because they are bored with Apex which is completely understandable. Was just starting to play a couple years ago, Jankz playing the shadow Halloween mode was the first Apex gameplay I watched. I was so locked In immediately. Jankz being so cracked pulled me in. Made me want to main Octane. About two years ago I became a dad and video games have become a rare occurrence as opposed to an everyday, constant hobby. Haven’t touched Apex since my wife had the baby but I do miss it, miss being semi-ok at it. But always love tuning in to watch Jankz, I used to watch every upload religiously back when I played but now it’s not as consistent, we will miss the heyday of Apex but Jankz, thank you for always sharing your nasty gameplay, being such good vibes all the time, and for all the memories while watching 💛

Jankz, for me, you've always offered the trifecta: skilled/performative flashy gameplay, great articulation of what you're doing, and a genuineness about your character. What you think of yourself is not necessarily what others think about you, and you certainly don't sound negative. At least from my perspective in your videos I feel like you're just real. Less can sometimes be more and it's appreciated more when something great is in short supply. Do what makes you happy, no more no less. 😊

I relate to this a lot, man. My 2 friends that I have been playing Apex with since season 0 bought COD and have been playing that because they are bored with Apex which is completely understandable. I can't do it. I love Apex and will continue to play, but I am also playing it less. I always look forward to your videos. So I am glad you are going to continue with Apex!

Everything you said is valid and completely understandable and I’m happy to see some creators take a stand by voicing their complaints but also are staying bc they know how amazing this game at its core is.

Was just starting to play a couple years ago, Jankz playing the shadow Halloween mode was the first Apex gameplay I watched. I was so locked In immediately. Jankz being so cracked pulled me in. Made me want to main Octane. About two years ago I became a dad and video games have become a rare occurrence as opposed to an everyday, constant hobby. Haven’t touched Apex since my wife had the baby but I do miss it, miss being semi-ok at it. But always love tuning in to watch Jankz, I used to watch every upload religiously back when I played but now it’s not as consistent, we will miss the heyday of Apex but Jankz, thank you for always sharing your nasty gameplay, being such good vibes all the time, and for all the memories while watching 💛

Love your work man. I’m a day one apex player and I’m with you! Feel exactly the same way. I’m 33 and have had a few obsessions in gaming but nothing like apex. I know it’s not perfect but geez there’s something about it. Appreciate your positivity dude. I can’t stand the complaining from the online community. I understand why, sure.. but jeeez if you grew up in the 90’s and 00’s with terrible internet , then playing free games on great internet that doesn’t constantly drop out these days is amazing.
