A lovely build and a very nicely produced video. Lots of useful information in there, particularly regarding the engine cylinders and rigging. I’ve started mine and you’ve given me some handy pointers, thanks.
Stunning work as always. A super kit but at my level of expertise it would represent a nightmare in a box so whilst I can admire your skills and patience I don’t plan to add this kit to my stash!
Beautiful work (as usual), on a nice little kit! I thought that polished aluminum over the gloss black was going to look like a mirror, but it came out quite nice! I have heard that AK bought the Alclad line, if you know anything about that, please share it with us. Once again, beautiful work Steve!
Excellent result!! Looks very nice. I have the kit and was surprised with the crispness of the moulding for an Airfix kit. Will build it as a Swedish J7.
Nickle-silver rod for the rigging - brilliant (pun intended) Steve. 😁 Would that work on a Wingnut Wings model? With the elastic string I worry that they will eventually sag or snap. Doesn’t happen with metal rods, although you won’t have scale turnbuckles on the rigging then. 🤔
It would work Ronald although the larger distances in 1/32 might mean its harder to maintain the straight runs. For 1/32 I still prefer elastic rigging thread and as you say its possible to represent turnbuckles with it.
Did you have any fit issues with the trailing edges of the wings, Steve? I have seen another build whre they didn't want to come together along the edge.
I've got one of these to make. I shall be using your video as the ultimate instruction guide as I tackle the construction of my kit.👍🏼👍🏼
you’ll enjoy it I’m sure - lovely kit
What a handsome little aircraft. Beautifully done, Steve!
yes it’s a lovely aircraft and a nice kit
Once again really enjoyed these two sessions, great finishing as usual. Well done Steve.
cheers Richard 👍
Exemplary modelling narration camera work .I could watch your videos for hours on end . Kudos to you sir !!!
Thank you that’s nice to know glad you enjoy them.
Very nice Steve, that polished aluminium paint finish is impressive.
Thanks Finlay it’s nice paint
Steve it might of only been a two part build but you’ve made a beautiful model out of it, seriously impressive! 👍👍👍👍
Thank you very much I enjoyed it.
Thank you once again Steve
Such a pleasure to watch your work
You're welcome thanks Rodney.

Good - I hope you enjoy it as much as I did

😬😁
You’re one of the few people I follow using Citadel paints. I was a huge Warhammer 40k builder for years and loved those paints!
they’re great for brush painting Paul I love them and they’re my go to as you know
Another gem ready. Absolutely an amazing job.
Thank you I’m pleased with it
very nice , see you at the club Saturday.
Will do Tony 👍
Great job as usual Steve!
Looking forward to your next build.
thanks Joseph

I didn't know about that I thought a different company had bought Alclad. Some of the guys at my club use it but I can't recall the name just now.
Excellent result - what a beauty!
Yes a nice aircraft looks good in the silver and colourful markings I think
Excellent build!
Thanks David

Stunning work! Bravo!🙌🏽
thank you
Fantastic. Very inspiring. Thanks !
Thank you Olivier👍
Very nice, that was my solution as well to cut the pins off to allow the cylinders on. : )
Great minds Philip - I can’t see how they would go in otherwise

interesting option - I don’t have any inter war RAF types and I like how colourful they were so it was always RAF for me
Great build as always Steve. 👍
Thanks 👍
A beautiful piece of art.
Love the bulldog - great lines
Great vid and build 🙏🍺💞👍💪
Thanks Eddy
Top notch build. Enjoyed this as always.
Thanks David 👍
Looks beautiful. Great tutorial on the rigging.
Thanks I like the nickel wire option. I’d use 0.2mm next time though
Fantastic results Steve, brilliant build as always.
cheers John
So cool. 🛩
thank you
Looks very nice. Do you have a link to where one can buy those precut masks?
Look up premium hobbies - that’s where I got those
Turned out really nice!
thanks paul

@@TheModelShed thank you. 🙏🏻
Did you have any fit issues with the trailing edges of the wings, Steve? I have seen another build whre they didn't want to come together along the edge.
Yes I did John - they’re thick and benefit from a bit of sanding to get them to come together without leaving a fine gap.
Is the tiny prop on the port wing too far back ??
Can’t see it Eddy. looks ok to me
Look at photo 51.06 ???
I see what you mean it looks as though it's not in front of the wing. It is though - must just be the angle of the photo.
Couldn't see you making a mistake !!! 👍😂
