Absolutely stunning as usual Steve! Congratulations, but I'm surprised it only got a Bronze (you were robbed)! The whole model is beautiful, the decals superb, the weapons and stores are just the icing on the cake! Eagerly awaiting the next subject!
Fantastic, build Steve! I really enjoyed following along on this build series. It taught me a lot! Congratulations on winning a bronze for your build. It's deserving of far more, in my eyes.
Congratulations on the award Steve! All I can say - not having attended - First and second must have been really special. The subtlety of the weathering and attention to detail are your hallmarks and a joy to all of us fellow modelers. She's a beauty and if it went to a client, he would be well pleased.
Remarkable job, Steve. I guess the only way to be sure of a gold would be to invent a shrink ray, reduce the real thing to a 32nd of size and enter it in the show. Lots of amazing talent nowadays. Enjoyed the build series.
Congratulations on the award sir. Fantastic work a favourite of mine the Tonka. I wanted to do this particular version back in 2013 when it was the anniversary. I imagine this afternoon I’m going to have to spend some money. 😂 Great work sir as always.
Congratulations Mr Steve on the Bronze award. I've never seen the detonation wire details before. I have no words to describe this master piece. Thanks again Mr Steve for sharing this remarkable build and series. WOW!
Hi Steve, the GR4 was an absolute stunner, the Tornado is one of my favourite later British aircraft, it's a shame they had to be retired, were they ever in the grey/ green camo scheme? Well done on the Bronze award, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Fantastic work!
Cheers thank you

It was a big category John so I was happy enough with bronze. Judging causes all sorts of different opinions so you have to go with it.
Masterpiece
Thanks Peter

@@TheModelShed Shocked it only got a Bronze; the judges must have had their eyes closed...

Thanks Les 👍 yes they were in green/grey for a while mainly the GR1s
Excellent. Brand new ladder paint job too, just for the commemorative aircraft?
It got a bit more battered after the pics 😬
Top notch build!
Looks like you won the Bronze? What catagory was it in?
it was in the large scale aircraft detailed/super detailed based on a plastic kit category. It’s a big category at a show like SMW
Very nice Steve, did you say it was for a client?
It was Finlay - went off to him straight from Telford
I would love to join your proposed RUclips.
Saw this model at Tellers. Dunno what u need to do to get a gold. It Wierd as that propaganda tank was run of the mill.
Well we keep trying - maybe next year 😬😀
