This is for those who have low self confidence or who are shy to skate when there’s people !! - It’s been a few months since I’ve been skating and my confidence grew so much, I’ve became bolder in just skating and doing my thing. People are only gonna look at you for a second and forget when they get home for dinner or whatever so just head out and practice!! We all need to start somewhere! Cheering all of you on 👊🏻
My best advice to beginners would be to practice standing on one leg, first on carpet with your board, then do it on smooth ground. Then when pushing swing your leg forward ahead - it makes such a difference! Get comfortable cruising and pushing before tricks. Have fun!
Hey internet pals! I just uploaded a new video of my 2 month progression! If you are interested to find out how far I’m progressing and if you’d like to learn some basic beginner trick do watch my latest video: ruclips.net/video/O-aYlRZEDNY/видео.html
I relate sooo much!! I'm so shy to practice outside on my own but starting to feel more confident. I've been prqcticing for 3 days now amd it'sso fun! 😀
That’s good to hear!! Actually it’s been a few months and I am definitely much more confident about skating on my own and just practicing wherever, I guess it just takes time to get used to it 🥰 Glad you’re enjoying riding on your longboard!
So much progress in just one week! Flip kick on day 4!!! I never get my board even off the ground. You are very lucky to be living in a climate where you can skate in February too, we are just only getting rid of the hopefully last snow. So I have only able to practise on the carpet for 5 months😪 Hopefully any day now I can take my board outside. I also prefer to practice in the park after dark LOL. You are an inspiration, girl!
Awww thank you for your compliments 🥰! That is true about the climate… Practicing on the carpet seems to be so limited >< hopefully you can go out there and skate soon!!
Loved your video! I just bought my first longboard, and also want to challenge myself, see what I can. Videos like yours gives me tones of motivation. Your progress is amazing!! ❤️
Thank you x Woohoo congrats on joining the longboard community! Yeah and for that I think for me Im still struggling to ignore judgement but I will push myself to just go and practice if not what's the point of getting a longboard 😆
Tricks such as peter pan and cross step is easier to pull off while riding than on grass, cause u know how much u can turn. Also a tip: cross step is easier when u go faster :)
Yessss, I'm much steadier at cross step now and I can do peterpan now already!! Tiny steps to my progression but I can't do it more than 3 times 😅 Thanks for sharing the tip! :)
@@tasershoc it has been really fun and thrilling haha. Recently managed to get a grasp of peterpan smoothly so I’m quite happy! Now I’m learning how to do the movements whilst making it more “carvey” . Do you know how to longboard?
@@ayyriel.c I know how to step on the board. LMAO. Other than that not really. I'm actually stuck between deciding to get either a longboard or surfskate. But if I do get a longboard I definitely want a symmetrical one with kicktails on both ends (so I can pop the board up, do tricks if I want to), and one that can cruise as well (cause wanna chill and go long distances and explore places). Would you recommend I get a deck with the specs I'm looking for, then find trucks / wheels to compliment that deck then? From what I've seen so far in sg that can be pretty pricey.
@@tasershoc HAHA I’d say, Getting a longboard you can do more stuffs with it as compared to a surf skate. I’ve never tried a surf skate before so I’m not sure how fun it can be 👀 yeah you definitely can go “ala carte” and build your own skate because some parts from a complete set may not be good. Choosing your parts can compliment with what you really want to do on your board and that can be guided with the skate shop retailer. But yes, decks alone can be pretty pricey 🥹💔
You are either tad bit stupid or quite fearless or both for giving it a go without full gear. Either way, you are a very quick learner and seem athletic. Keep going and keep rocking! Best Wishes!
HAHAHA. You are right, I m both. 😂 this is for the people who are seeing this and r new: WEAR YOUR GEARS OK DONT BE LIKE ME HAHAHAA. ( I m starting to wear knee guards esp whenever I’m trying out tricks now ) Anyway thanks for the compliment at the same time 😝 and best wishes to you too! ☺️

Ah yess!! Pushing seems to be the easiest but it’s actually so crucial to get it on point!
parralel to the edge of the board or perpindicular?
