Very happy to see that you could really enjoy the fact arrived there and first saw the views in the first 30 mins off ridind there, it was all over your face. Man can hardly express it with words. But what a huge respect I have for you to keep positive and stay cool filming it all when all those scheisse things happend. Must admit I did laugh a bit especially because problems just keep re-occuring and that especially shows you are just a normal dude trying to do the big boy stuff and you actually pull it off, even with all the struggles. Looking forward to the rest like always!

Use only E98 E5 fuel ⛽️!!! The cheeper E95 E10 in not suited for your bike. It ruins your fuel lines and delivers muck in your carburetors.
Sadly e98 is not always available

Hello from Greece, i like your videos and is nice to see that you put a lot of effort to make them better and better. I have 2 suggestions, first keep it as simple as possible and second to put the dates that you make the visit. it is helpful because someone that watches can see the weather conditions according the time period. For example when you arrive in Iceland you said tha has more snow than you expected, it will be more helpfull to know if is early May or at the end of June. Thanks.

I recently got myself a 1995 xj900 and though I kind of scared in the steep corners to bend the bike, still loving it every other aspects! Feels like these xj’s are really very reliable. I hope you are having a great trip and make sure the luggage is tied up properly and have fun!

Your starting problems are not over...
Are you tanking euro like E10? That has a lot of ethanol which attracts water and degrades rapidly. In layman's terms its Sh\*t.
Yes but it’s the only fuel you can get here at most gas stations

Premium type fuels also include detergents which can wash out certain things. I am not sure but a quick review shows that all Iceland fuels seems to be 95 octane. This suggests that it may be a pseudo-premium type grade fuel.

Hallo Miles,hoffe dein Vorderrad blockiert nicht auch noch.Bei dem groben Reifenprofil hätte ich bedenken,daß nicht genug Platz zum Schutzblech bleibt.Würde versuchen den Fender etwas höher zu setzen.Darf ich fragen was die Fähre von Hirtshals(?)kostet?
Tatsächlich ist das das fördere Schutzblech höher gelegt um genau das zu verhindern. Witziges Detail an der Stelle. Ich hatte vorher einen Reifen der perfekt gepasst hat. An dem Tag war aber ein mürrischer tüv Prüfer da.
Also musste ein anderer Reifen drauf der nicht ins Schutzblech gepasst hat wo der tüv aber sagte das der geht.
Die Fähre von hirtshach war 800 hin und zurück

Würdest du mir verraten welche Stollenreifen du montiert hast, und mir einen Tip für die TüV Abnahme geben.

Actually zhat was the second Time in 20 Kilometers but in Iceland it realy became a problem
Now this is a new, original way to show what you pack on your trips! Really entertaining documentary, thank you! Also, when my kids mumble something under their noses, I sometimes mock them by repeating these incomprehensive noises repeating exactly as they sound to me, and turns out most of those are location names in Iceland.
Put the sleeping bag in the good case and the tent outside. You can make do with a damage tent but the sleeping bag is life and death stuff. The tent will also dry better in the air stream if put away wet. Go well!

2 von den drew tellern sind um auf feuchtem Untergrund das Motorrad auf den Ständer zu stellen damit der Ständer nicht im Boden versinkt und das Motorrad umkippt☺️. Weil die sind super dünn und nehmen nicht viel Platz ein

Iceland really is something else, did it clockwise back in 2018 summer time, it just leaves you in constant awe at every single turn, it's like visiting Earth some million years ago geologically speaking.

Ich muss wirklich sagen, dass deinen Videos echt der Hammer sind. Ich selbst fahre eine XJ900 und fange gerade an, damit zu reisen und durch deine Videos bekommt man die Zuversicht, dass kein Ziel zu weit ist. Absolut geil!

Das ding ist nur etwas über 130 Millionen Menschen sprechen deutsch.
Und Motorrad Touring content ist auch nicht die größte Niesche auf RUclips.
Deswegen hab ich mich dazu entschieden meinen Kanal auf englisch zu machen, einfach weil einen RUclips Kanal aufbauen ist schon wirklich schwierig und so ist es ein wenig einfacher.
Wen der Kanal irgendwann gut leuft würde ich überlegen meine Videos auf weiteren Kanälen nochmal auf deutsch,französisch und vielleicht spanisch zu vertonen. Aber momentan lohnt sich der Aufwand nicht
Danke für deine Antwort, und ok das kann ich verstehen . Eine Frage noch bitte wie hast du das mit deinen Reifengemacht in der Hinsicht Zulassung da die Reifen ja eigentlich nicht für das Fahrzeug eingetragen sind !´? Würde die reifen auch gern draufziehen und welche Marke hast du genommen ?
@doringmike8858 ich hab much mit der Einzel Abnahme rumgenervt. Würde ich glaube aber nicht wieder machen. War teuer und nervig
