The movie Friday cost $3.5 mill to make and made $6 mill in 3 days & 27 mill in USA and the actors only got 6k;Ice cube & Dj pooh(the screenwriters)must still be spending money from that movie.

So the editor has to get paid. Oh you got some bad audio on the set? well now you got to rent studio time and pay your actors to dub their lines in the studio. And even if your dialogue is good in every scene, you still need to go to the studio for sound effects. You have to pay people to recreate subtle sound effects like foot steps, setting down a glass, etc. So 20,000 wouldn't do jack shit. 3,500,000 is more believable.
