I love how crazy Blake sounds when explaining all the stuff in the game. Just saying what seems like random place names and item names. Yet it seems so normal when you know the game.
as someone who barely knows this game, i can confirm. half the shit he says was complete jibberish, but that made it 100x funnier LMAO. guy was GEEKIN and im here for it
If I remember correctly from a runner explaining the horse thing: When you dismount the horse the game finds the nearest valid space to put your character then gives a massive speed buff to your character to get it to that position in like a second, however if during that transition you load a save that speed value stays in memory and in the loaded game your charcter will have that speed.
A recap of all the strats (from someone who does not know details): 1) If you quit while saving/loading, the save data glitches. You can Load a New Save, but the character will be in the same spot as an Old Save. (The wall run at the beginning is so you can do this to warp to the front of the cave once your hands are untied. Here, it also is used to warp to the horse. 2) Quicksave and Quick-load to skip Dialogue. Bump into people to skip other dialogue. 3) If you scroll down fast enough when talking to a shop NPC, the game thinks you are selling, but you are selecting items from the store's inventory. So they buy their own items from themselves and pay you. 4) Horse Tilt: tilting the horse at that ~90 degree angle glitches the physics and shoots you off like that. Combine with the save warp to fly anywhere. 5) Punching guards and going to jail brings you closer to the city center. 6) Used to be, you would use the bucket to clip into the Embassy courtyard from the outside, but this guy nails it by Horse Tilt. 7) Pickpocket Attunement Sphere from Septimus. Clip into Tower of Mzark. Combined with getting the thing from the Embassy, you get all the quest items at the start. 8) Failing to Show up to your Wedding: When you read the Elder Scroll, you get stuck in a cutscene and can't move. The game locks your controls. There is a cutscene when you get married that also locks your controls. When you fail to show up to your wedding, the game unlocks your controls just in case. Read Scroll, Wait, Miss Your Wedding, and then you can interact with the cutscene and re-write history. 9) Kill guard so OdAhVing doesn't waste time picking him up and flying off. 10) Never level up. The bosses scale with level, so using the Dragonbane on an unleveled boss does a ton of damage, proportionally. (Dragonbane is item duplicated via glitch, btw).
He kills the guard at 25:59 because if he doesn't, an animation plays where the dragon grabs the guard and throws him off the castle. So by killing that guard, he's skipping the animation and all the buildup to the fight, so instead of like 30-45 secs of pre-fights, it just goes straight to it.
to explain the stop start thing happening at 24:30 during the meeting he is quicksaving and quickloading to skip a whole bunch of dialogue this speeds up the time in what would have been the slowest section of the run.
skyrim is so long that i've never even finished watching a gameplay series on it and this dude just frickin bypassed the entire thing in 30 minutes!!!!
I'm not toooo knowledgeable on speedruns but I'm pretty sure that there are different types of speed runs like any% runs which usually means you can use any glitch,/tech/skip you want
Some things. The call dragon shout isn't at the end of the game. It's a DLC quest you can do before killing Alduin. Esbern actually doesn't need to be persuaded with the 40th of Frostfall thing. You can convince him to open up by telling him you're the dragonborn. Then there's the thing with Septimus. That quest can also be done anytime, though you can only progress if you're a certain level. The elder scroll is not locked to the main quest, though it is functionally useless outside of the main quest. The speedrunner duped the dragonbane sword. It happened so quick you likely didn't notice, but there's only supposed to be one as it's a unique item. You also cannot normally attack things during the 'cutscene'. He glitched it in order to speed it up.
For the record, the Speedrunner bound Quicksave and Quickload to the keys he was bouncing between during the Peace Council. If you Quicksave when someone is talking and load the save it skips what’s left of the dialogue, which can save you MOUNTAINS of time when you’re out and about (or listening to a bunch of old guys argue about why they’re right and everyone else deserves death…). He has to go “get married” in Riften or he can’t move during the Elder Scroll Flashback cutscene at the Throat of the World. The game glitches out because your movement is trying to be controlled by two separate Scripts. One of the Speedrun Routes I saw had the player actually completing the wedding instead of watching Alduin body those heroes, it was hilarious! He goes to Dawnstar at the beginning, where the DB end up and where you can do the Daedric side quest with the dream potion. He actually duplicates Dragonsbane in the route, which gives him three copies of it. He only needed two but it was faster just to accept it and move on. At the very end, he uses going in and out of the doors to manipulate where people are in the room and to skip dialogues. You’ll notice at one point he goes outside and everyone is already waiting for him. This run plays on Novice, but if you never touched the difficulty settings at all Alduin would probably body you with zero Armour. On Legendary, there’s practically no point to armouring up because unless you’re putting 100% of your points into Health it won’t make a difference.
To shed a tiny bit of light on one of the many things that are done in this speed run, cause I frankly can't keep up with it. For those wondering why he bought the sellsword and got "engaged" I guess is what you can call that, I'm pretty it turns your potential spouse into an essential character making them unkillable, that sellsword in particular uses both sword and spell so it's just a tiny bit of a damage bonus the speed runner has when fighting alduin
These games are so big. I don't understand how someone can go over ever little inch of land and run into it until they find some kind of glitch and break in the wall.
Speed running should be 100% full game completions without hacks, cheats and glitches. Only true gamers will 100% complete a game the true way, while bot gamers will use cheats, hacks and other to help them. That’s my opinion and if I made a game I would only congratulate someone that finished said game fully with skill and work put into said game..
Those runs are called 'glitchless' and exist as a category. This run is Any%, meaning glitching is not against the rules. The last glitchless run for Skyrim's main quest is 1 hour 7 minutes.
It probably took me 6 months to get to that point on my first play through. Granted I was probably Thane of every town and leader of every faction at that point but it is insane to see how quickly people can glitch through the game now.
You guys should react to Dougdougs videos where he plays Skyrim but every time he names an item or entity in the game they spawn on him. His chat tricks him into spawning dragons on himself and shit it’s funny af
Blake I’m pretty sure that he went to get married because he had nothing better to do while he waited for Esbern and Delphine to talk at karthspire lmao
6:24 Uhhhhhhhh, hate to be the one to break it to ya mate. That's not a puzzle. Like it is literally NOT a puzzle. You're literally just clicking next until the next button unlocks. You just click the farthest left button, and then the next left button will open and you click that until the last button opens. There's no order, there's no configuration, there's no puzzle, it's literally as straightforward as it could be short of pressing just a single button.
the trick with being not even Level 1, is that it glitches or tell the game that character hasn't played yet, so all enemies are at their weakest setting. or something like that. my never leveling up, Alduin doesn't get OP as fuck!
The reason I can never really enjoy speedrunning is because of the taking advantage of bugs/glitches to lower your time. Not even really playing the game at that point. Can enjoy watching it, to an extent, but not sure how people enjoy doing this for insane amounts of hours.
Thot 1. I’ve always related with Blake in a slightly ambiguous way-this video has resolved the ambiguity I am 6lake Thot 2- I know Skyrim forward back and all around I’m confused too😂
I just wish that speedrun had been real. It has been proven to be fake by many Skytubers. One of the most obvious giveaways is him having 2 copies of Dragonsbane even though there is only one in the game and it never shows how he got the second one. there are also at least 4 parts he skips that simply CANNOT be skipped or the subsequent quests will not even activate. It is a careful mix of genuine glitches and exploits with total bullcrap that looks like it could be real.
I wish every speed run had a Blake dialog explaining what it's supposed to be like the whole time. This was awesome
Watching Blake try and figure out where he is after the speed glitching is hilarious 😂
I love how crazy Blake sounds when explaining all the stuff in the game. Just saying what seems like random place names and item names. Yet it seems so normal when you know the game.

I love how Blake is the only one that can truly understand how psychotic this run his. Hitch and Jorge are just like “What am I watching?”
A recap of all the strats (from someone who does not know details):
1) If you quit while saving/loading, the save data glitches. You can Load a New Save, but the character will be in the same spot as an Old Save. This is hitch reacting to Blake losing his shit and it’s hilarious. I’ve played Skyrim so much over the years
i love how blake is just mindblown at all these details and jorge and hitch are like yuh huh ok yeah
I have no clue what’s going on in this but seeing Blake nerd out made it so great
The speed run is good but Blake geeking out about it is sooo entertaining
He kills the guard at 25:59 because if he doesn't, an animation plays where the dragon grabs the guard and throws him off the castle. So by killing that guard, he's skipping the animation and all the buildup to the fight, so instead of like 30-45 secs of pre-fights, it just goes straight to it.
The reason he killed the guard while he's calling the dragon is because that guard gets killed by the dragon before he lands
Blake calling general Tullius the main dick head at 21:13 let’s us know were his allegiance lays Stormcloak Dog
I still go back and play this game all the time, I love home much Blake is into it, I was right there with him
I was like Jorge the whole video. Just wtf and enjoying Blake attempting to explain 😂
4:47 is my exact reaction, I have zero clue what’s going on lol
Blake’s reactions could not be more perfect considering Jorge and hitch have not one fucking clue what he’s talking about LMAO
Ive played skyrim at least 30 times. Just started s new run a couple of months ago and hearing blake explaining stuff is dope af.
you should've watched the GDQ speedrun of skyrim. it's pretty much the same, but the runner gives explanations of why and what he is doing in the run.
Blake's commentary is so good.
to explain the stop start thing happening at 24:30 during the meeting he is quicksaving and quickloading to skip a whole bunch of dialogue this speeds up the time in what would have been the slowest section of the run.
The 2 other guys have no idea what's going on, but I can tell the guy on top and knows what he's talking about and has played quite a bit respect
skyrim is so long that i've never even finished watching a gameplay series on it and this dude just frickin bypassed the entire thing in 30 minutes!!!!
Please do more speedrun reactions I loved this, subbed cause it was too good aha
Just wanna say around 22:00 it was mentions uplfric also goes by wind caller but they are actually two separate people
I'm not toooo knowledgeable on speedruns but I'm pretty sure that there are different types of speed runs like any% runs which usually means you can use any glitch,/tech/skip you want
This video was awesome!!! Hope to see more speedrunning reactions, I know there are some crazy ones out there.

The meeting with ulfric and tulius can only happen if you get far enough with the alduin quest and haven’t joined either side of the war.
At 24:06 hes quick saving and quick loading to skip dialogue
For the record, the Speedrunner bound Quicksave and Quickload to the keys he was bouncing between during the Peace Council. the world actually moves while you wait so if you need NPCs to move just wait an hour
14:43 best part 😂, that was funny.
yo blake explanation is on point but in a funny way HAHAHAHA. i really enjoy it
RUclips NOOBS figure out the RUclips algorithm.
I’m just playing 😂 love y’all
Hitch would probably have a blast trying to beat the game
9:57 no you just talk to him and he follows you after, you don't have to go back to riverwood or anything
For the button thing you don't need to memorize anything, you just keep pressing until the next button unlocks.
To shed a tiny bit of light on one of the many things that are done in this speed run, cause I frankly can't keep up with it. These are my favorite videos on the internet right now
If Blake is in love with this game, he really needs to play Elden Ring. Its basically skyrim on crack and its amazing
I honestly like this more than all 3 knowing what’s going on this shit is so perfect 🤣
My man confused the game and no clipped the whole campaign lmao
Boys PLEASE do separate Skyrim playthroughs and stream them
Im 100% Jorge in this, just watching and having no idea whats going on lmao
These games are so big. I don't understand how someone can go over ever little inch of land and run into it until they find some kind of glitch and break in the wall.
Great Video guys. Watching yall try and figure out what he's actually doing was hilarious
when it would skip @ 23:05 its just him waiting an hour to skip dialogue

14:33 fun fact, Paarthurnax' voice actor also did Mario and Luigi
also at the peace council meeting, I believe he's quicksave/quickloading
Yeah, as much as he was nerding out on him, he failed to mention his VA was Charles Martinet, aka Super Mario.
25:56 he saves the guy that couldnt be saved normaly just to kill him xD
blake made this the best video ever wow
Please do more speed runs really enjoyed this!
During the council he's quick saving and quick loading to skip dialog
I'm not going to lie Lie Blake, I never expected your Skyrim knowledge 💯💯
Fun fact, the voice of Mario is the voice of Paarthurnax
Blake knows Skyrim like the back of his hand.
Interesting fact, Paarthurnax is voiced by the same guy who voices Mario for Nintendo (US).
Did Jorge say 5 words this whole episode? 😂 my man only talked about the horse
you gotta watch every game you have played but with the speed run bull lol
you could watch AGDQ stuff in future if you want to react to more speedruns because they tend to explain the route as they go
It probably took me 6 months to get to that point on my first play through. Granted I was probably Thane of every town and leader of every faction at that point but it is insane to see how quickly people can glitch through the game now.
literally took me 364 hours to reach Ulfric, after I do all the side quests and had houses (and fully upgrade them too). XD
Man for a player that has played this game for years. . . You can't even remember Dawnstar or Riverwood.
He was thinking of the wrong quest, when you get the dragon scroll the button doesn't work when it's in the right place
Yo, these damn reaction videos are awesome boys. When is the TST SMP coming??
this speedrun is so random, I do question how did speedrunners even figure out this route
This is nuts, I feel for Blake!
When you watch speedruns I suggest watching tomatoanus explain them so you can get a larger grasp on it
You guys should watch a speed run of GhostRunner. It’s absolutely insane!
This is just the main questline there's plenty more questlines, some of them almost as long as the main one
Where do these guys play games at, they stream on twitch only?
I have over 2k hours in this game and this run still amazes me
PLEASE watch Tomatoanus Fallout 4 speed run, it's super entertaining and you can watch him explain it while he does it or just the gameplay.
Bro every wraith made me like
I need more speed running reaction content!!!!
Ayyy that intro worked on me 👍🏽
The stutters are him quick saving and quick loading the game over and over
I recommend Tomatoanus' video that explains everything throughout the speedrun
6:24 Uhhhhhhhh, hate to be the one to break it to ya mate.
That's not a puzzle. Like it is literally NOT a puzzle. You're literally just clicking next until the next button unlocks. You just click the farthest left button, and then the next left button will open and you click that until the last button opens.
There's no order, there's no configuration, there's no puzzle, it's literally as straightforward as it could be short of pressing just a single button.
Literally only way it could be even simpler was if it was a single button and only needed to be pressed once
speedruns with glitching are nice but i personaly enjoy more speedruns without glitching
much better to do it as low a level as possible bc the enemies scale with your levels to have more health and do more damage :)
As an Imperial fan, I am offended by your slander of General Tullius
You guys should react to the SNIPING GOD fearless
They should react to the glitchless one
Completely mixed up Windhelm and Dawnstar
the trick with being not even Level 1, is that it glitches or tell the game that character hasn't played yet, so all enemies are at their weakest setting. or something like that. my never leveling up, Alduin doesn't get OP as fuck!
bro didnt even need beds for alduin. sheeesh
I’ve played like 600 hours of this game and I’ve still yet to beat it 😂😂😂
3:14 Fast Travel
I skip the first dragon quest you get from Whiterun until the end of the game... 😂😂 Makes it harder..
The reason I can never really enjoy speedrunning is because of the taking advantage of bugs/glitches to lower your time. Not even really playing the game at that point. Can enjoy watching it, to an extent, but not sure how people enjoy doing this for insane amounts of hours.
I clocked over 500 hrs before I beat the game, I blame side quests
If you like speedrunning and know anything about super Mario 64, you should check out that game, it’s the best speed game out there
if you guys are interested in glitch heavy runs this SM64 is not the game tho
Thot 1. I’ve always related with Blake in a slightly ambiguous way-this video has resolved the ambiguity
I am 6lake
Thot 2- I know Skyrim forward back and all around
I’m confused too😂

Elden Ring speedrun reaction up next?
Can we get a no glitch run of skyrim too :)
yall gotta check out doom speedruns. notoriously bug-abusing. they're hilarious to watch.
