Trail Blazing with Kids! The backpacking adventures of a family of four with two young children. Backpacking solo can be difficult on its own, but even harder with young children. We hope that sharing information of our outdoor adventures will help other families journey outdoors and share their amazing experiences with the world.
This is day two of our adventure on the Appalachian Trail. We hiked from Stover Creek Camp to Hawk Mountain Shelter. This was our longest hike so far with the kids at 5.3 miles.
