There was a guy I was dating. It was great at first, but soon he started expecting me to be perfect. He would pick out every little thing I did wrong until it sucked all the life out of the relationship for me. He thought we were fine, though. It was a prison. When we finally broke up, I felt like I could breathe freely for the first time in almost a year. I've noticed that I'm becoming more confident, my joy is finally returning, and I actually feel like I can be myself again. I was genuinely happy for the first time in forever. Until he found out I'm interested in a different guy. When he learned the same guy is also interested in me, he went off on him, basically saying I'm a terrible person for liking someone else. He said he was thankful we broke up, cause he realized now it was God rescuing him from me. I was terrified this was how everyone would see me. I don't want to just jump from guy to guy, finding a new relationship as soon as the old one doesn't work out, but I just know he's gonna make everyone else think I do. God, please, I just need a little peace! PLEASE!
