There is another method for doing them in an oven that Chef Robert Irvine of The Food Network does, he seasons them then wraps them in Plastic Wrap then in Foil and cooks them the same method you just did. I’ve never heard of wrapping the ribs in parchment and foil before! I can’t wait to try it. We can use the same cooking method in the Smart XL, right? Just wrap and cook in the roasting pan?

    • @JohnSanders

Yes... it is pretty much the identical oven with a different handle...I think you will be impressed with the way the parchment wrapped ribs will turn out...thanks for watching!!!

Ribs look good. I've only wrapped them in foil papper after the 3-2-1 method when in the smoker.. I've never heard of using parchment paper..wonder if there's any difference? Anyway happy eating.

Yes... in my opinion... it is!! But...I'm sure a lot of people would love it... I'm kinda sensitive to hot stuff and... this was...lol... good flavor though... and they have 3 different heart level of their sauces...I really liked the fat tire!!! Thank you for watching!!!

Going to give this a good try tonight to see how it turns out. Not using the same air fryer unit though, but the technique and time & temp should be the same. Removing that skin was not near as easy as you made it look though. I am a real fumble-thumbed individual, so me and that set of ribs had to have a "Come to Jesus" talk a few times and I renewed my old sailor vocabulary in addressing it before I finally got the skin removed. :-)
