Franklin Falls - A family friendly 2 miles at Snoqualmie Pass

  • Franklin Falls was my first hike after having Rhabdomyolysis 3 months ago. It's an easy* two miles with 400 feet of elevation gain near Snoqualmie Pass, that's doable year round (just watch out in the winter as the falls are in an avalanche chute).
    *I say "easy" because while in the past I would have done this in my sleep, this time around it was at my max limit for the day. The last three months have helped broaden my perspective and empathy on what's easy or hard on any given day.

    I always love hearing the sound of rushing water on the trail. Something about it is motivating.

      @trailvoyant I'm with you! Even if it's just a little rivulet across the trail it boosts my hike :)
