Just went yesterday after watching this video!! The falls sadly weren't frozen but there was definitely a lot of ice. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent love to hear it! Too bad about the falls not being frozen but it’s still such a beautiful place isn’t it?!

@@VFCsTravels Oh yeah, definitely! Even the walk to the trail itself was insane! All the treetops covered in snow, so beautiful! Are there any other hikes in the area that you'd recommend??

So many there are a bunch on my channel! My favorites are Colchuck the enchantments Green Mountain Lookout Hidden Lake, at this time of year those I-90 hikes are accessible but snowshoes will really open up the options!

Beautiful hike. That water was for sure too cold to jump in.

I like to think no water is too cold to jump in unless it's frozen!! I had emptied my swim trunks and towel out of my pack for the Mailbox Peak hike, otherwise I may have done a dunk!!!

What a great view of the frozen waterfall! That makes all the strenuous hike worth the exertion, doesn't it?

Yes, this one was worth it! Very slippery on the ice getting down, tho!

Awesome vid! Does anyone know if the falls will be snowy like in this video in April? I'll be in town and would love to take my camera there :) Will also buy microspikes to be safe hahah

Unfortunately it is highly unlikely you’ll have much snow there at all in April, definitely won’t have any frozen falls, it’s relatively low altitude. Still a beautiful spot tho!

@@VFCsTravels Thank you for the info! I'll be in Seattle and looking for things to do. Would love to see some falls but also recovering from a knee injury unfortunately.
Do you have any recommendations for shorter hikes to falls? I dont mind driving up to an hour or so from Seattle :)

So many great hiking opportunities around Seattle! Franklin is actually good for you then, there is very very little incline and with the road open not as much walking either! Enjoy!!!
