Another great video where your talent shines through 🙂 The neck plate was remarkably in good condition, God knows I've restored so many guitars where the hardware and the pickups were rusty... Again, great work 🙂
That guitar had a very 90's grunge vibe going on. Sometimes I wonder if it's better to keep a few of these around in original condition because they do speak of a time 30 years ago.
Excellent job. I wish something could have been done for that fretboard - it looked pretty dry. Maybe the white streaks...? I'm curious if that can ever be fixed.
There was a period of time where all our guitars was cover with stickers!😄 You don't see it often now... The fact that the guitars for beginners today are way better than before and I'm pretty sure kids doesn't want to hide them behind stickers as we did in the late 90's/early 2000's! By the way the fretboard on this Jackson is wonderful!!
@@MaskedRiderChris Of course!😊 Maybe (for sure I should say!) we just grow old and our point of view changed with time but you are right, I'm one of those who doesn't want to see any stickers on my guitars, all looks new except for my 1st guitar! She followed me during those first years and was cover with labels/bands/brands stickers😂 It was a great time... For me it was in 1992, playing grunge and old 80's metal, the music I was in love with when I was 10 and when I discovered Rock musics😁
mesmerising restoration! Absolutely love the trail and the songs used. I've been hunting for TAB for 'no guilt on new years morning' but have had no luck, is this something you learnt yourself or is there TAB online? Look forward to the next restoration!
thanks! "no guilt on new years morning" was done by ear. I only have the first phrase, though. So the TAB may not be online. Sorry. It's easy, so try to copy it down a semitone. ruclips.net/video/k3QAHuHFkPI/видео.html
It is interesting but the stamps on the neck and pocket are JS and JS-10. Those are very inexpensive india\indonesia\korea\chinese builds. But the headstock has something extra (grover jackson logo) Usually Japanese market only, but it looks like a sticker, not professionally applied ? Of course, no sharkfin inlays. The bridge, a Japanese made Takeuchi (probably a Lo-TRS) same as on the Ibanez RG400's circa 1998, was probably put on this guitar, as you can see, it does not fit and sink into the tremolo route properly. So what on earth guitar model is this lol. Does anyone care about all this info I just gave ? Nope. But that is ok because it is a nice restoration, that is the important part.
I have Charvel DK-65 which is very similar to this one, but it's HSS and 22 frets. These instruments look awesome, but I don't understand non-recessed bridge mountings.
that thing is rare. 1st time I have every seen that model super badass.

so glad you returned it to the original color it turned out nice great job
It’s like asmr for guitarists. Great job on the restoration, looks and sounds beautiful!
Very nice restoration. It's crazy the original finished survived all that abuse.
Especially since this guitar is from around 1995, more than 25 years old!
Poly finish. Very durable.
The stickers saved it, irony.

This turned out simple and beautiful.
HEY, MAN! I recognize that last jam; ( You and I - No Guilt On New Years Morning )
You have amazing taste in classic Emotive Hardcore!
Love that Mastodon Riff!!
beautiful work!!!

Nice work and very nice playing! Although I think of that as a shredder guitar, there are nice clean tones in it as well.
One of my favorite RUclips channels
Sick mastodon riffing and killer restoration dude

One hell of a beautiful Jackson. 🤩
The Jackson turned out beautifully… it reminds me of the white Charvel model 4 I had years ago that I wish I didn’t sell.
I like the video straight forward no talking concentrate on the work piece.
Well done sir. Looks like a usable guitar now.
Awesome restoration and covers of songs!

Mid to late 80's and early 90's for me, that phase was! These days, I'd sooner shoot myself in the foot than do that to a perfectly good guitar.

And she lives to shred another day!
Great restoration, brother! 👍💕
Thanks for saving another guitar 🎸 ✌️🤘🇦🇺

It seems to cleanse the heart.
Very nice job!
You saved the life of this poor old Jackson - great job 👍
Nice looking…thank you
What type of godless individual puts a thrasher sticker on a vintage grover jackson, thank you for saving this guitar from such a disgrace.
Jackson - one love!🖤 But, please, friend, use the Floyd Rose!

I restored a BMX recently, which had been covered in stickers.
I swear the best sticker remover is mayonnaise. (I tried all the other obvious ones.)
I love ur work, thanks for share!
Awesome manco man🎉
Can you include a list of the songs you play in the trial? Your demos are amazing and I'd like to hear more.
The song starting at 20:38 is Blood and Thunder by Mastodon.
saetia - An Open Letter
Mastodon - Blood and Thunder
You and I - No Guilt on New Years Morning
Awesome restoration! Awesome that you played "An Open Letter" :DDD great song choice as always!
Saetia is a great band!
I love emoviolence, skramz, etc. so your reaction makes me happy.
Nice work!
Nice restauration... Better job that i can do 😅 congrats !
MASTODON 🤘
Awesome Job man! 🔥🤘
The result is spectacular ! 6:35 🤩
That cleaned up well, I found that WD40 takes stickers off and cleans the glue off the paintwork.
I’m curious if the neck pickup is original. The pole pieces and Jackson logo would lead me to think it was a bridge pickup put in the neck position.
Curious as to why you never use a buffer on the finishes ... Otherwise, a very nice job on this shredder Jackson.
Can you make a video of lefty guitar
8:57 scared the shit out of me
What is name liquid you used for the cleaned body from sticker and silicon, are the liquid can erased a painted in the guitars body to
The spray can ones seem to contain vegetable oil and activators. The other one also used orange oil.
Good restoration Yeah ! But you can repair your Mesa Boogie Box too... Hahahahahaha...
I have that same trem block on my Yamaha RGZ-321P
saw this only now, but it does not appear that the trem is the right model for this guitar. The trem cavity fit is terrible.
I'm inspired.
do you sell them
there do you get the guitars from?
awesome is it for sale?
It looked kinda cool, though
Not understanding why someone would put so much silicone on a guitar body???
The more stickers on an instrument reflects the inability to play that instrument.
Hi! Stunning restoration! Can you tell me the name of the product you use to clean the headstock? Tnx a lot.
It uses PiKAL's LC-303 compound.
Nice work guitar, maybe need a little bit polishing but this is at discretion of author of the video
What was the model of the guitar?
Do you sell the guitars you fix up?
look alike my jdr 94 concept
Person who did this to a nice Jackson should be drawn and quartered.
Does 6 - 3 equal June 1983 mfg date?
Oh man. I hate to see a guitar that abused and stickered up. It looks very much like my first guitar too which is a Jackson PS4.
what was the song in the first trial
killie - An Anonymous Letter
I’m so sorry but that nit silicone . That God your wearing gloves.

Still no dive bombs brooo? 😭
8:56 I thought that air compressor busted my ear drums and went deaf. :O
sweet axe
Mastodon!!! \m/
disaster meets Master becomes Super-Stratocaster.
I rove a Froyd Rose tremoro
Lot of fret buzz. Sounds like truss rod needs adjustment
It doesn't sound like fret buzz, rather signal clipping during the recording.
A lot of history is being erased.
I’m beginning to wonder if he’s pre-distressing and dirtying up some of these guitars himself.
So why not Kerosene?
And DON'T anybody say 'flammability'!
👍👍👍😎

No complaints here......... I had to deep clean a bass that had an entire nicotine finish once. That was messy and stinky.
why those guys do this to nice Golden era Japanese guitars yoku wakannai kedo. why dont do this on korean cheap guitar?
gita- wo tasukete arigatou!
Thank you for cleaning all that poo someone smeared on there
I polished a turd the other day. Didn't come out as nice as your project.
saetia!
