What do you think of flat fire dmg? I got t4 add 50-93 fire dmg. Should I keep it or go with it? I have another useless preffix 16% increase speed

@@PohxKappa thank you. How many tries did it take u to get burning dmg or dot multi with augment? Honestly I think I have done way over 10 tries and got only one t5 fire dmg mod.

@Pohx Kappa i know this is not for new players but i think you can craft cannot roll caster modifiers on the weapon first and annul it to remove the added lightning mode before multicrafting iit then maybe can craft something usefull on the prefix as well

Simple and well explained, and you intentionally crafted it "lazily" or "wrong" to show us what to do in a worst case scenario.

I really have a hard time understanding stuff and mechanics in most game(Short time memory and difficulty of learning)
And this, showing the selling stuff with the gems and then, how you showed how to remove what you dont want and get what you really want, was super crystal clear!

I helped out a new player last league and he is enjoying the game so much (yes, he loves 3.19). And I think part of the reason why he did is because of your RF guides. He had so much fun with the build last league so now he is running RF again for his second toon for the league. The downside is that he is now quite picky with guides, and none come close to the amount of work you put in. Keep it up man!
Awesome tutorial, and an amazing build! I've tried half a dozen builds this league, and this is the first one I really see sticking with for the long haul. I keep making "Tanky" characters with "Good DPS at low price points", but they end up being rather underwhelming in both damage and ability to take a hit. But this character . . . wow. I still die, but from overconfidence, not from bad luck hehe.
Oh, and as for this video . . . took me a while to scrape together the exalts, only had chaos after spending most of my meager savings on a solid chest, but other than that, I spent maybe 15 minutes crafting (mostly sorting through my gem tab for fire gems) and came out with a +1, 123% burning damage, 18% Fire DoT stat stick that will probably stay with me the rest of the league (though I'll probably try getting some better rolls on it when the appropriate harvest crafts come my way)

First of all I wanted to say this is a great tutorial for someone who does not know how to utilize the crafting system. . . . . . . . However, It may need some updating because I just spent 2 hours trading and mapping to get to the part where you have to craft 3 things and it turns out (me as a new player who just doesn't know) that crafting 3 mods on an item now costs 2 div (Necropolis league) and not exalted lolololol But thanks now I know what to do with some Divs when I get them. Thanks Pohx for all of your hard work towards RF!!!!

Great video, totally understandable explanation of how to do everything. Question though, I don't have the unveil crafts for fire/ignite and fire DOT. Is there expeditious way to get them? I've just ran like 15 maps with Jun encounters on, unveiled had to be 100 items and neither craft came up.
If you hit the T1 % Fire Damage Suffix, what do you craft instead of % Fire Damage/Ignite? Still worth using?

You might want to add a note in the description or link an updated video on the wiki. Multimod is now 2 divs instead of 2 exalts. The guide should also mention that the other crafts are both veiled mods, which are tedious to acquire. Not sure if this changes the value proposition

Can i ask, why not craft on a EE scepter, with a curse or 2. will it deal more dmg?
I got a pretty good dagger with +1 to all spells. How relevant is it to get a sceptre early? Does it not matter what weapon I use until I get the sceptre or should I only use sceptres through leveling etc as well?
3 leagues in the future still rewatching this, crafting has changed a bit but this is still very useful AND the exalt slam is sooooo much less expensive now.

idk if you still reply hopefully you do idk what to do rn since i was lucky i got +1 fire gems then i got increased fire damage with augment orb then i regal by accident but i hit the damage over time multi so do i just suffix to prefix since both of them are good and finish the craft or is there something i can do here to salvage both suffix
lol i hit the dot multi on my first alt and free suffix on first regal. let the item sit for over a week bc i was too scared. ty. i now have an awsome weapon.

I assume you can do the exact same start for a +1 to Phys Gems for skills like Blade Vortex, Blade Blast, Bladefall, etc., right?
where do you get all the fire gems for this though? 40% is at minimum two 20$ quality gems for each failure.

Hello I made sceptre IL 84 40% elemental res, +1 fire gem , +46 cold res and 15% chance to ignite after regal( 1 prefix 2 suffix) Should I move on with the crafting?

Man I always hated crafting ... because i didn´t understand what to do or what i need... but listening to you makes it like "hey, no big deal - i could do this, too" - Thanks mate, earned my sub.
This is still a pretty straightforward and deterministic craft. I hate the ones that require esoteric knowledge about weights and metacrafts - "you add Cannot Roll Caster then you add this and that and the only prefix you can get is the desired one!" - that's waaay too much knowledge investment for crafting.
Is it worth to buy atm for 2 divines a magic base with 40% ele dmg, +1 fire gems(preffix) and T1 Burning dmg(suffix)?

I'm missing something. I don't understand how the one you crafted is better than the one you have? I've watched a few videos on this now and paid to run putrid for 3 crafted mods but I'm at a standstill on actually understanding if the scepter you crafted in this video is better than the one you have equipped based on the Fire DOT on the one you're wearing?

TY just made a dank sceptre that cost about 2div and 40 chaos to create. Any other listings are for 5div and above and I was able to add 60k DOT DPS to your RF build

Hello, Im gonna play this build for first time this league, and just came from the other guide. I was wondering if i ever reach the point that im crafting this and craft something simular (probably be in a month for me). Would there be a next step in pushing this weapon?
I think not, the next step would probably be purchasing a +1 fractured spell skills scep (which will be very expensive prob like 5-15ex)

I think I do not really get how it is even remotely possible to AUGMENT / Regal these stats.. 😅 Maybe you can clarify if I am overlooking something?
According to craft of exile, there are about 400 things an augment COULD roll if you include all tiers of all prefixes/suffixes.
Even if satisfied with a T2 roll, that makes it a ~8 in ~400 chance to roll one of those 4 mods you mentioned:
prefix Increased fire damage
suffix DoT multi
suffix fire DoT multi
(suffix increased burning damage, you used in your example)
and you can still brick it afterwards with ease, if you got 2 suffixes (beastcraft -> remove suffix) (there also is one variant where you need a Regal SUFFIX)
So I would need multiple hundred sceptres/gems to get something similar? xD No wonder these are so expensive.
Any tips for SSF? Just skip the +1 and roll harvest FIRE sceptres is my no-crafting fallback plan ^^'

This is my planned list (one allowes a Regal SUFFIX)
- best if you have Suffix DoT Multi -> Easy, all crafts available 😜
craft: Prefix Incr. Fire damage + Suffix Fire DoT Multi
Result: PS+SSP (allowes for a regal PREFIX)
- if you have Prefix Increased Fire damage
craft: Suffix Fire DoT Multi + ? suffix (low) fire damage ? 🤔
Result: PS+PSS (allowes for a regal PREFIX)
- if you have Suffix Fire DoT Multi
craft: Prefix Fire Damage + Prefix Increased DoT
Result: PS+SPP (allowes for a regal SUFFIX 🤨)
("PS" = +1 Skill and multi mod craft)

This is a lot to go over and I have very limited time so
since you like to play with craft of exile ( I do not I just haven't gotten used to it yet so I don't have like the calculator behind my examples)
I would check out crafting on an item level 4 sceptre. You would ether fossil spam with fire or harvest spam for +1 & 16% Fire multi.
You can then simply bench craft the 60% fire damage and honestly what weapon should be good for a long time.
You can also force like an item level 4 void scep with div cards and making a new character but I forgot exactly how that one works out

question when beastcrafting suffix to prefix, couldn't you craft a random suffix before beastcrafting, so as to limit removing the burning to damage from a 1 to 2 chance to a 1/3 chance?
And what are u going to do if hit the crafted mod? you still have one suffix that u need to remove...
@@higorcamelett1886 Huh? Just craft a random suffix again and redo beastcraft. Way better than redoing from white base.
Edit: with better chance of not getting bricked.
out of curiosity, does this method work for cold dot scepters? assuming with cold gems being traded instead
should be the same but i guess there is no equivalent to burning damage mod on suffixes so you really have to hit % generic dot multi.

I think ashes for skitterbots would be awesome damage but you need to squeeze in some more reservation
not sure if it's worth using just for vitality yoi'll have to PoB the tradeoffs
@@PohxKappa There are lots of things you can do for your reservation, i was running skitterbots+malecolence+determination+purity of elements+purity of fire at one point, without a reservation helmet

Hey, I was so confused. Why do we want +1 to all fire spell skills gems, we want +1 to all fire skill gems? Spell does nothing but help fire trap? Is this really worth a prefix instead of adding 45-54% fire damage prefix. How do you get +1 to level of fire skills gems which would boost RF? Your guides are amazing and helped me a lot in 3.19. Would love you to answer this thx.
righteous fire is a spell
How would you say this compares to the searing touch staff. Been thinking the staff is better and less of a hassle to get even in SSF
staves are usually more damage but I much prefer the defenses of a shield along with the mobility
I'd say you probably won't really encounter many things that can kill you till red tier maps so you should be safe to play with a staff for a bit
