    Lord Krishna Caitanya, Prabhu Nityananda, patita-pavana, the most merciful appearance do the most total display of the Supreme Lord; embodying Srimati Radharani, whose prema,the highest level of the purest loving exchange, is the mood Sri Krishna appearing here. In one Kali Yuga, per day of Sri Brahma, that has numerous KaliYugas of a day & night of Sri Brahma.We are so inconceivably fortunate to be on Earth only 528 years into the Golden Age of Sri Caitanya Hari Nama Sankirtan. BalaNitai has toes that are blissfully cooling more than ten thousand moons that Sri Chandra takes charge of as devotional bhakti to please Krishna and all expanded Vishnu, Personality of Godhead, Godhead expansions. All this and much more to reawaken us to our each personal spiritual ,knowledge-based, eternally expanding blissful bodies of the Spiritual Sky. Hare Krishna

    One of my favorite discussions of all time. It's an amazing example of two individuals with a deep seeded care and love for the human race and a genuine interest in their development and evolution. You can feel the love they have for one another and for everyone else. Far beyond other discussions I've seen where the individuals essentially sell themselves and their ideals as a product. Two beautiful and amazing individuals, and we should all be so lucky as to meet an individual like them.

    When you want to study medicine you associate with similar type of people. In a same way if you want to know God you don't go to someone who don't have spiritual experience. God is beyond our understanding and imagination because you have to understand that we have some defects:
    i) Imperfect senses
    ii) Cheating propensity
    iii) Tendency to be in illusion
    iv) Tendency to commit mistake
    So, how can we judge the unlimited with our limited understanding.

    @dondongt Very nice question but expression of LOVE can only be experienced when there is freedom. I cannot make some force to love me. Love is not mechanical.
    God is never partial in BG 9.29. Krsna explains it.
    I envy no one, nor am I partial to anyone. I am equal to all. But whoever renders service unto Me in devotion is a friend, is in Me, and I am also a friend to him.

    He is trying to explain "What is real happiness?" What is everyone looking for? Even in that poor condition he was blissful singing the glories of Allah. On other side people having very wonderful and royal life they don't have that blissful happiness. May be he was trying to collect his living which everyone has to do. But we need to learn to connect it with God which the boy was doing in some certain level.

    @christiew8 there is division of society on the basis of the quality or nature. Reference of bhagavat gita 18.41 and 4.13. He says that on the inquiry of self realization, people undergo different step by step stages of awareness, and with it comes purity in their character. Division is not in basis of outlook, physical appearance. It on basis of nature and character.

    In response to both of your comments. Your first point is well taken. I could never fault a poor boy trying to earn a living, and the fact that it is connected with God on some level is righteous and just. However, I can only hope that he was not victimized in some way in order to earn his living as a pauper. Unfortunately, these schemes do exist everywhere and are certainly not uncommon in the Indian subcontinent.

    Divinity herein is the spirit soul each living entity carry with its physical body which is part and parcel of God without which the body is just lump of physical elements. What is difference between death and living? all the organs are still there, we can see the same person lying on the ground why one is death and one is living. ie the spiritual spark(soul) which makes the difference.

    Well Caste systems in India comes from Europe. Caste comes from portuguese word "Casta". Indians still follow stupid dark age european system into their constitution. So there exists caste system and it is not a religious problem. It is a Social problem. it encompasses all religions in India. It is sustained because it is politically helpful to crooks in holding power just like dark age.

  • @meropal
    @meropal  12 лет назад +2

    Initially, the unmotivated love doesn't come automatically but by continuous and constant engagement in service of Lord will one lead to that stage of pure love for Lord. About the boy physical condition, there is definitely due the reaction of previous conditioning (karma). But that is not the question, the more imp aspect what we are doing. Having richness and good physical health is not the real thing, real thing is to relate oneself with the supreme Lord. Understand the divinity in oneself.

    Based on a little reading, it seems ISKCON's stance on caste is that isn't something you're born into, it's just what you are. If you farm, you are farmer, but the son of farmer isn't a farmer if he doesn't farm. So the "real" caste system of the Vedas is just pointing out the obvious: there are divisions in society based on profession, and each profession contributes to society. Unfortunately the reality in India is that you're born in a caste and you're stuck doing what your ancestors did.

    The caste system in India was the best system in world till 200-300 years ago, now it should be diminished as its purpose has finished as the situation has changed completely. Due to this caste system India was sharing 40% of GDP in world before 1500 AD, came down to 25% till 1800 & than it got completely demolished& India became poor. Don't see caste from society point of view, but see it from skilled point of view.People used to be skilled economicaly in specific field according to their cast

    So, the Vedas say that everyone is divine, but in order for peaceful social functioning in this world, there should be division of society according to one's qualities. There are four divisions: Brahmanas (priests), Ksatriyas (warriors/administrators), Vaisyas (businessman/agriculturalists) and Sudras (labourers). Every part is needed for the proper functioning of the social body, just like one needs one's head, chest, stomach & legs to work together to function properly.

    yes.more or less it is saying that no matter who you are, what your role in society is no matter how "low" on the socioeconomic ladder you are, you are important, and should carry out your role with dignity and pride. think about it this way,if you know you cannot climb that ladder, and no one else can replace you if you are already high in the caste ladder, you wont envy those above you and you wont have incentive to be greedy.. of course in reality human greed and pettiness gets in the way

  • @srikalyc

    I am sorry but don't stoop down bagavadh gita to level of set of moral codes. It talks about transcendence from both GOOD AND BAD. Both good and bad are karma, unless the act is conscious and is done in unawareness it doesn't matter good or bad it is an ignorant action and hence is karma and is binding and hence stuck to cycle of birth and death.

    You will run out of explanations and consciousness if you use the terms "soul", "god" "worship" "sacrifice". these are terms owned quoted and provided in the world by and from "Judaeo-Christian" "Greeko-Roman" Hellenistic philosophy, you cant use them to describe your experience and translate some universal concept to fit them for all. Better differentiate it from Atman, Parmatman, Dhrama, you will see extreme differences and there would be no problem at all to comprehend.

    1 you need Intellectuals / bureaucrats/ ministers
    2 you need a army and people who can defend and administrate
    3 the merchants or the business many
    4 the lab our class / other people to work for
    It fits in working of Society - is considering and respecting everyone at the platform on spiritual existence - Soul and not concept of life .and when you see them suffering with birth / disease /old age and death

    Some women are Sudras, most are like most people regardless of thier sex. Some women rose to high importance in Hindu society. If women are considered so unintelligent why are there female Purohitas? A concept alien to Christianity for example until very recent times.

  • @sudhumravarna
    @sudhumravarna 12 лет назад +5

    The holy scriptures Vedas of hindusim have female proponents (philosophers) like gargi and Lopamudra and people pray to them. i dont understand where you get this idea of female being less may be fromm greeko-roman though of Plato and Aristotle who considered women dont have soul. LoL

  • @kryshen2
    @kryshen2 12 лет назад +4

    The problem here is really that the caste system DOESN'T fit into hinduism, no mor than the laws of Leviticus fit into Christianrty. You have to know something of British/Indian history to understand. The Caste system was forced into existence on the indian people because they wanted to rule by indian rule. Of course, the caste system was meant to be metaphorical... the British took it as literal.

    Women less intelligent - you should go through example and be practical while going through them
    Rotten Philosophy - Its not a neo modern one it has been coming down through ages tried and tested by many great soul.

  • @Jingogunner

    yes, but the discussion on the caste system has not been answered, not even sketchily, it has been avoided. It is not up to me to cast someone into a caste role and I feel desperately unhappy when so many others constantly do so. This is not god or intelligence, it is evil and evil only and it is an ancient evil.

  • @sudhumravarna
    @sudhumravarna 12 лет назад +3

    you should learn to have discourse in your terms, in indian terms.Caste i not indian or hindu thing. you should not translate "Varna Vyavastha" to caste and start portraying. there are 2 different things and caste system is evil which has to go back where it came from (portugal, europe) If india was good because of varna-vyavastha then better put up scholarly arguements from authentic sources instead of mere Western descriptions of Indias past. Your past is much more than what west has written.

    As Radhanath Swami was discussing his life changing experience seeing the poor boy in Afghanistan, there are questions unanswered. Why did the boy stumble upon the travelers in the tea shop? Why was he blind? Why was he playing an instrument and singing about God? Was he divinely placed there, or was he a street performer hoping to obtain money? "The Supreme Dharma awakens loving, devotional service...such service must be unmotivated by any selfishness, egoism..." Blind faith is no faith.

    @meropal ""christiew8''' please stop shooting well crafted words around and answer the question. there is not purity in discriminating other human or person. if god made you, and then he also made all other human. gita's awareness is so divine that it lets you justify violate other humans basic rights. you are closing your eyes to the "Truth", and nothing is worse then people like you. how can gita as a god be so misguided and say that one person is better because the way he or she worship him.

    The caste system in India was not the best system in the world... beliefs in India were largely a backwater of superstition, the untouchables were the scourge of the earth, still to this day if the shadow of an untouchable comes accross a Brahmin the Brahmin has to do rituals to purify himself of the uncleanliness. The caste system was, and is, a means of societal control, and thats all it is.Thats why anti-caste religions, such as Sikhism, and Christianity, became very popular in India.
