Howdy, Brother! The invitation is still (aways) open. If you and your Dad are ever in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for a craft fair (or whatever), please consider parking all your trucks/trailers and stuff at my place and staying as long as you need. All the food, drink and everything is on-the-house! Y’all have done so much for me and the woodworking community, it’s the least I can do. My door is away open. My wife and I would be honored! By the way, another great video.

Wow. I’ve actually just started milling 2 x wood for a trestle lathe stand for my Jet 1221VS.
This could not have come at a better time. I’ve been looking at trestle designs on the web for a couple weeks now, and I made a design-and then your vid popped up on my subscription feed.
    Thanks so much!

I finally finished mine last week and despite the horrendous joints, she appears to be pretty darn sturdy. It’s going to do a nice job of holding my Excelsior mini lathe while I learn to turn. I wanted to thank you for sharing your knowledge and giving me the confidence to make an attempt at something like this.

Good idea with the pegs, to keep the lathe stationary. Just an FYI, that model has threaded holes on the underside; bolts install from under the table top, into the lathe.

Just looked on Rockler they have a set of 4 but only 2 lock. Is that the set you used. (4'' Rubber Caster Set, 155-lbs./Caster, (2 Swivel, 2 Swivel w/Total Lock Brake))
