I absolutely adore Dinner is not over Yet, like there's plenty of "please don't commit suicide" songs but this one is like... it just hits different, saying "yeah, you could and I know it feels much better, but that's later, you can die later, first we get through life, first we finish this" with that childlike metaphor that you have to finish all your dinner before you get dessert
A lot of Jacks micro songs actually have full versions (just without the animations), like tea errors and dinner is not over, you should really check them out

Actually, the extended version of "dinner is not over" is one of my absolute favorites! The whole song (in case you weren't clued in already) is about suicidal tendencies and overcoming them. Cooking with Abigail is about a girl names Abigail who wants to have a cooking show, but her only audience is a bunch of creepy old men, which emphasizes the phrase "Walking around in her pretty apron". That's also why you see old men in the background, and Money underneath the door.
It actually pains me that you didn't listen to the extended versions or jacks micropop because it goes into depth in the songs like tea errors it does talk about tea errors " run into to tea errors running faster faster" most of his songs are extended so if you want to listen to his songs more fully it's a recommendation to go listen to it!
Dinner is not over is my favorite song by jack. It soothes one’s fears of death by saying it will be a good experience while also telling the listener to wait for their life to be over before embracing death instead of rushing into it with suicide.
Hamantha hits close to home since I have tuberoses sclerosis and there's no cure (granted, I don't have autism or frequent seizures. Others with TS have it worse than me and I hope that doctors find a cure quickly)
Those Eggs Aren't Dippy is a recent favorite of mines. Some other suggestions: Deploy Fighter Cheeseburger Family Cupid Today, Today Inchman Keyman John & Nancy Beird Leopard Jack's music really speaks to me. I definitely would recommend Pop Shop Opera and Opal too.

The lines: "I've tasted friendship, I've tasted you/ I've tasted heartbreak, I've tasted food." Describe how the singer feels they've tried everything to find happiness but nothing tastes good, well nothing except... "I've tasted dying and it tasted good!" However that isn't the conclusion of the song, "But that's dessert, you can have it when the dinner is done." Is blunt but probably the truest way I've ever seen someone try to explain what it's like to put off suicidal thoughts. Death might be sweet but if you skip over life to get to it sooner it won't be satisfying... "So put it down." Which contextualizes the imagery of a lollipop noose or popsicle gravestone... It's been a while since I've watched your other Jack videos but if you're looking for more traditional songs I'd suggest Cupid and Dog Nightmare for very different reasons haha. Also Leopard if you want to experience whiplash eight times in a row!

I'm not sure if anyone else has commented this yet, but Dinner is Not Over is one of my favourite songs (it was extended into a full song by the way!). It's basically anti-suicide, and it's always been the most uplifting songs when I'm in a bad place. Instead of saying "don't die, its bad!" which just feels condescending, it feels much more understanding. Saying death is like dessert, saying I know it's tempting and I understand how much you want it, but you're just gonna have to get through dinner first. It feels like someone gets it, and we've all had to finish dinner before getting dessert, it makes life seem so much more manageable when everything seems bleak and overwhelming. I've always loved morbid art - maybe that's why I love this song and Jack Stauber so much - but even then, although Dinner is Not Over seems very dark, it has a really positive message in it.

I highly suggest "Time Bastard," "Jane's Car," "The Web I Spin For You" and "Honey Queen." All give quite a different vibe because the episodes are all different, kind of like Black Mirror, but all set in Hachetfield.

As someone who loves Jack Stauber, I feel bad for people who hasn't listened to him. It must be confusing when you first hear him, but the songs do really make sense if you listen
In the dinner and dessert one, dinner is representative of life and dessert is representative of death. Basically it's about waiting until dinner (your life) is over to get dessert (die). Basically, it's telling you not to k!ll yourself, because your life isn't over. As made evident by the noose and in some ways the final line of 'so put it down'. Pretty dark.

As someone who loves Jack Stauber, I feel bad for people who hasn't listened to him. It must be confusing when you first hear him, but the songs do really make sense if you listen
In the dinner and dessert one, dinner is representative of life and dessert is representative of death. Basically it's about waiting until dinner (your life) is over to get dessert (die). Basically, it's telling you not to k!ll yourself, because your life isn't over. As made evident by the noose and in some ways the final line of 'so put it down'. Pretty dark.
You should react to the oh hellos, very underrated. I'd recommend "second child, restless child" and "the valley"

Try reacting to opal, which is a short film by jack stauber and actually has a few songs and “lore”. Also Cupid and Baby hotline are good songs.

Oh it's Jack stuff again! My favorites of his are Dead Weight and Two time, the latter having a really good animation done by Ramdaram that matches the style of the song perfectly.
