@@Tampo-tiger You are such a cool and arrogant commentator...post a video of yourself dancing ecstatically...oh no one wants to see that....better that way. hohoho
Whooosh… straight over their heads. Two or three years later and a slight change of style and there were millions of young girls screaming at Bolans music.
Wow! Thanks for posting this, I've never seen it before - a fantastic piece of history. If I remember correctly, when this was released as a single it had the same track, but in reverse, on the B side!
Maybe The Actual One did, but these people looked as if they were waiting for the bank to open, or it was time to vote. Steve & Marc put their all into it. This was the best song by T.Rex, as it was both a hit, creative & most importantly- Unique. Still wonder who their stuff fans were.....
Contrary to other comments i don't believe this was filmed at Glastonbury 1970 (the first one). Where ever this was looks really organised with a perimeter fence and a very 'straight' looking audience. Those first two years at Glastonbury were mostly hippies and with wood fires and battered looking tents scattered about.
Good times when people were just listening and appreciating music without spending 90% of the time filming and taking pictures of themselves with their phones.
@user-pv8jy1nt8f ... The first Bath Festival was at the Recreation Ground in central Bath, the second one was much bigger and at the Bath and West Showground in Shepton Mallet.
Always been my favourite song since it was released
When Marc was enchanting magical and beautiful. The audience looks like they are on heavy tranquilizers.
having seen them dozens of times you'd never see a crowd dancing or bopping around, desn't mean they weren't appreciated
I knew someone who could sing Debora backwards. Amazing
Where did the crowd come from? The local morgue? This song is amazing, even by T Rex’s high standards.
Yep, that audience is definitely dead - look at them ha ha ha ha!
they are so far off their faces they can't move
They’re probably all on acid.

@@62keithmoon Yes, you must have seen my dancing dear Keith, it is worrying to say the least.
Oh to hear their voices and instruments on that day.
What an exquisite song. All Debora’s are enshrined.
Compare this crowd with peak TREX. The sway from all boys to all girls as he went electric and full glam. Remarkable
Still magically wonderful
This goes hard icl
Weirdly wonderful ❤️
Mikey Finn sure had a hard act to follow, this guy is pretty good.

Kempton Park, Sunbury. The 8th Jazz and Blues Festival.
Tyrannosaurus Rex is magic
Love this track from one of my early heros
Before it's time , I remember listening to it when it came out and said " what the hells this ? " .
You still may
wonder 💭 that..I do. It’s a mystery alright.
So it is with the Spirit which is what I think he “had”.
A secret gem
The crowd went wild!

あまりポップでなかったティラノサウルスレックスが、ティーレックスになって、超ポップに変わると、誰が想像し得ただろうか⁉️
Would love to hear the original live audio of this performance
What an interesting version of this song.

I think this is Isle of White
Looks like Windsor Jazz and Blues Festival to me?
Great stuff inspired by inspiration which wont happen anymore because the genie has gone back in the bottle
Doesn’t seem the crowd is digging “Debora.”
When Glastonbury was broadcast on Channel 4🎶
excellent!
live footage the audio is studio. well synced
what studio recording is it

Then they left the stage and the crowd went wild...
Very successful band btw, even before the glam rock
@user-pv8jy1nt8f had top 10 albums years before glam.
Clever
こんなビデオが残ってたとは…。
Things changed when Marc went electric
This was filmed at the first Glastonbury festival
weeley
Not Glastonbury, could be the Bath Festival, Not Weeley, Steve Took was gone by then and the band was electric not acoustic.

Sorry, could well be Glastonbury, my mistake.
did they hand out quaaludes at the gate ?
Debora sounds significant to Bolan lol
