I love the lighting package on everything, I hope to see more parks in the US get these lighting packages to add a German Traveling Fair feel. The Wave Swinger looked really gorgeous. The Pirates Hideaway indoor portion is so bad that it's iconic. If I worked at the park, I'd add a random Snookie poster to the indoor portion just to mess with all of the riders.
I didn't know that Super Storm was an inverting model until it happened on my ride, which made it even better for me. I didn't look it up ahead of time, nor did I see it cycle before riding. I enjoyed my 2nd ride on Pirate's Hideaway, since I was better prepared.
Skyscraper hands down is my favorite ride here it’s one of the most messed up rides ever. However I found the vomatron at old town more intense bc it was taller faster and ran longer but it’s still an amazing ride
@@harrychest4303 Too harsh IMO; Wildwood has a better selection, but Hydrus, Centrifuge, and Superstorm alone are worth the trip (particularly since Morey's Pier ditched 'Maelstrom').
I did all 3 within 2 days last year. Moreys Piers was the best, but I loved Casino Pier too. Castaway Cove was a total mess, and I didn't enjoy that place at all. At least I got all the coaster credits, but it was not fun.
Of what I road at Casino Pier this is my list. 1. Hydrus. Fun one. Road it three times. 2.MUSIK EXPRESS. Fastist MUSIK EXPRESS I have ever been on. Goes forwards and backwords. Fun! 3. HOT TAMALES. This kiddy coaster packs a punch. The helix is great! It has some great speed. Ride it! 4. Xolo Loca. I did not ride in the hampster wheel. I get sick from things like that. 5. Sky Ride. Great views a plesant slow ride. 5. FERRIS WHEEL. Great views. Long ride cycle. 6. MERMAID PARADE. Cute theme a fun kiddy logflume. 7.CENTRIFUGE. Cool ride and setting. Made me throw-up and I almost passed out. 8. PIRATE'S HIDEAWAY. Ouch! Ride it once for the credit. Bonus entry. SURF SHACK. A great funhouse. This is similar to the one in the movie Grease. I did not go on AIRPLANES, BOATS, BUMPER CARS, CAR COMBO, CAROUSEL, CRAZY CABS, DISK'O, DIZZY DRAGONS, ELEPHANT EXPRESS, HELICOPTERS, JUMP AROUND, MOTORCYCLES, PIRATE'S ISLAND, PONY CARTS, SHORE SHOT, SKYCOASTER, SKYSCRAPER, SPEEDWAY, SUPER SLIDE, SUPER STORM, TILT-A-WHIRL or WAVE SWINGER. I wanted to go on WAVE SWINGER but it was down for rain I guess.
@@CanobieCoaster To be fair the helix is the only speedy part of Hot Tamales. We got stuck on it after one cycle. They fixed and and sent us around three times more.
Seaside isn’t 1/2 of what it used to be. There were two huge ride piers, bars on the beach, an amazing ride through haunted house, and great food. Now, it’s an overpriced trap.
@@CanobieCoaster Funtown, years ago used to have a huge Log Flume. It had two drops, and a long ride time. Casino Pier had a sky ride on the pier, and a walk through Haunted House called Doorway to Hell that I used to work every Summer for 5 years. The pier was 1000’ long and had two levels once it went over the ocean. The Pirates Hideaway ride used to be a pretty good dark ride, and the funhouse was good too. As I said Seaside isn’t 1/2 of what it used to be.
I always find myself comparing Hydrus at Casino Pier with Impulse at Knoebels. Impulse has better value (no surprise, considering all Jersey Shore beaches), but Hydrus is always a walk-on instead of an hour-plus wait.
I've been going to CP all my life. Here's my Top 10 of rides that once were at CP but are no longer there: 1) Himalaya (a Reverchon model; vastly better than the version currently in CP) 2) Evolution 3) Enterprise 4) Disco Star (a Matterhorn variant that was vastly better than the tepid Rock 'N Roll) 5) Dancing Queen (a rare flatride that I have a hard time finding clips of on YT) 6) Swiss Bob (renamed Power Jet for a while) 7) Jet Star (not to be confused with Star Jet; the latter is what fell into the ocean) 8) Love Bug (essentially replaced with Pirate's Hideaway, but this was in total darkness) 9) Spider/Octopus (I forget which one they had) 10) Zipper (only this low because these are ubiquitous at carnivals)
I don't do the upcharge rides (they scare me too much, anyway) and I like to ride things with my kids. With that said, here's my personal Top 10: 1) Hydrus 2) Centrifuge 3) Musik Express 4) Superstorm 5) Disk-O 6) Moby Dick 7) Wave Swinger 8) Ferris Wheel 9) Crazy Cabs 10) Xolo Loca

So many of these boardwalk parks come alive at night.

Nice!
0:38 How was that running with the restraints up?
Maintenance mode.
Skyscraper hands down is my favorite ride here it’s one of the most messed up rides ever. However I found the vomatron at old town more intense bc it was taller faster and ran longer but it’s still an amazing ride
I found Skyscraper better than Vomatron. Vomatron felt more repetitive and formulaic.
Superstorm is my favorite of this parks adult flat rides
It's a great ride.
I’ve been to Moreys Piers and Castaway Cove, but not this one yet. Where do you think this on ranks compared to those 2?
Stick with Wildwood. Seaside sucks now.
@@harrychest4303 Too harsh IMO; Wildwood has a better selection, but Hydrus, Centrifuge, and Superstorm alone are worth the trip (particularly since Morey's Pier ditched 'Maelstrom').
I prefer those two.

did u ever do one on funtown pier before it was destroyed by sandy and fire
I never got to visit Funtown Pier.
I love a good ride on Hydrus
Me too.
Centrifuge the music and lights are controlled by hand and they are not automatic
Very cool!
Why was Air Race removed? Did they replace it with anything?
Xolo Loco
The new coaster.
Seaside isn’t 1/2 of what it used to be. There were two huge ride piers, bars on the beach, an amazing ride through haunted house, and great food. Now, it’s an overpriced trap.
It still stings that Funtown Pier burned down a year after Sandy hit.
I really miss the old Casino Pier it offered so much
I wish Funtown Pier were still there.

We got a full song of “welcome to the black parade” just my sister and I. The operater started the ride over again when the song was halfway thru
Musik Express?
The old seaside heights would have probably made the list but since it became smaller now it dosen’t feel worth visiting
At least they rebuilt after Sandy.
