I absolutely love Morey's Piers. Great video and I agree with your list, though I would've put the woodie a little higher. Something about riding a woodie right on the beach, with the ocean wind.. just an awesome feeling.
Wildwood is my home town 😍😍 I still have family there so we go a lot. The boardwalk is genuinely amazing. I do not understand ppl who trash talk it. I think Morey's does a good job. But the piers have always been amazing. They had 2 of the absolute best dark rides/haunted attractions ever back in the day. I miss them soooo much! Also, you have got to ride all the upcharge stuff! They are sooo good!!! You are right, the setting makes them best in their class for sure.
The nor’easter is actually the first of that model. It was custom made and was so good vekoma sold them to other parks such as neighboring hunts pier, I believe the hunts pier ride is now at a six flags.
Crap, I'm late to this on3e, you upload so many videos a day, I love it lol, idk if your reading this one but Morey's is a park in NJ defiantly worth visiting if close to the Beach. Its really cool that there are 3 parks in 1, a pretty bad boomerang, probably the best SLC in existence, and a wooden coaster with spectacular views of the ocean.
I can't recall any other reviews of a Wild Mouse ride in which the reviewer noted the lack of airtime. The whole idea of these types of rides is to give the rider a sense of falling off on the curves and of being in a maze, not big drops and airtime. As for the Runaway Tram, it replaced the Flitzer which operated in that spot for years and now is located in Ocean City, MD. I believe one of the old Flitzer cars is on display at the entrance to the Runaway Tram as an homage to its predecessor.
this park seems to care for its rides a lot more than most places - I'd imagine that's partly due to wanting to provide good thrills to its guests and encourage return visits, and partly due to them accounting for more regular maintenance since they're out there on the beach in the elements. Shame the flume has been down a lot for you though
The boat tag used to be right across from the Atlantic Book Store, which is long gone now. My mom and I would spend HOURS in the book store, and after fifteen minutes or so my dad and little brother would get bored and go out, buy a few buckets of balls, and shoot at the boats. It was always a weird little highlight of our trip.
Grew up going to Morey's Piers before Morey's owned them in the early 80's. Was always a place I loved. Had amazing rides all the way back when Golden Nugget, Flyer, and the Skuaa Pirate Ship were my favorites. @@WeWereInvertedVideo You can catch Gigi on the boardwalk to this day, most of the time zipping up and down the boardwalk on his golf cart. Sometimes you can even spot him driving his custom painted tram car with "Gig" in blue on the front.
I rode the go carts under the pier, which I don't think they have anymore, but at the time one ride was included with the all day wristband. Insane, you could barely even move the track was so packed and yet it was so much fun. GNE was #1 though once the sun set.
Awww man! I love snapping the scooters! It’s a bummer you’ll get kicked if you snap them here…snapping is what makes the scooters so much fun! I really wanna try the boat war. It seems like it’ll be so much fun. I hope to go there some day. That whole place seems like it’ll take the whole day.

Aww no love for the Ferris Wheel? That should have been on the list, if not the top ten. Amazing views of the entire island and others as well, plus the ocean right there. Great list anyway.
This is probably the one pier on the Jersey Shore that I would need a full day to experience. I could only see myself spending a few hours to half a day at and as a result could probably fit two in to one day.
It can be done in less time if you only care about the coasters, but I think Wildwood is a full day since Morey's has a lot of awesome non-coasters and the pier itself has some other cool things like the retro arcade.
Crazy thing about IT is I rode that ride as it was being tested but was never told this till after lol. Only got through half the cycle then they shut it down for maintenance lmao
Wildwoods golden age is long gone. The Morey morons monopolized the boardwalk and destroyed any charm that was left after the mid 80s. Hunts Pier was far superior.
You had me sold on going with the words “aquatic tanks” 😂
Yup
Every other attraction is give-and-take for me, but the one thing I NEVER pass up on a trip to Wildwood is Zoom Phloom!
I just wish Zoom Phloom is open more often for me. It has been closed my past few visits.

I agree wild mice are more about laterals, but the finale on the good ones can give a pop of airtime or two.
Jolly Roger's Flitzer is actually from Jenkinson's in Point Pleasant.

The lack of land and pay-per-ride scheme probably incentivizes them to refurb things.
