I gave my last Seamaster to my nephew in 2015 on my 50th birthday. I’d like a 2014 model as that’s the year one of my young friends was born. A photo of her at two days old has me wearing the wayI gave to my nephew. Seamasters because my grandad was in the Royal Navy during WW2, and rejoined after the war and did another 14 years. He loved the sea but said you could never trust it.
Its a nice Omega.. Absolutely nothing about the front of the watch even hints at the Olympics. Maybe they should have done another collaboration with swatch and actually took a bit of a chance with a watch that has the red white and blue of France and some of the main events celebrated.
Omega is a great watch good movement good finishing but I don’t know all their models minus the speedy are like almost there, I don’t know what it is but they just don’t do it for me.
The black 4 on the bezel kills the whole watch. I don’t like the seconds hand logo, but I could have lived with it since it’s so small. But the black 4? Hard pass.

No omega owner here,I think this watch is neat ,like luxury and elegant but not obnoxious.
I believe Seiko has also been the official timekeeper of the Olympics at least 6 times, Tokyo Olympics in 1964 being one of them.

I like Omega but I can never get into the Seamaster. Only the vintage ones like the Big Triangle and the Seamaster Soccer ⚽️ time chronographs
