I'd choose the Rolex, mainly because it fits better on my wrist
@@MamaLifeBre for sure there is quite a noticable difference, especially in the thickness. Thanks for the comment! 🙏🏻
Tudor 4 me
Own ceramic Pepsi and did own the Tudor . I lLloved so much about the Tudor but in the end it was too big and heavy for my tastes
They're both very nice and I'd prefer either one to the current GMT Master 2 which is just a little too "Bling Bling" for my taste. I like the thickness (or lack thereof) of the Rolex a little better but I like the coin edge of the Tudor bezel a bit more than the chunky edges of the rolex bezel. Considering that one is an old used watch, you have to consider that you're spending a LOT more for something where you don't know if it's been maintained well and consistently or if it just got it's first cleaning/regulation and polish a few days before you bought it. I guess, if you can leave out branding and just choose on objective merits like quality and price, I'd choose the Tudor. However, we all know there is a large part of the watch buying base that yearns as much to get noticed and admired for their expensive "stuff" as much as they want a good watch. That's a huge part of the Rolex appeal. People are conditioned to think it's just the ultimate and if they just had one, they'd be the ultimate too......lot of insecure dudes willing to flex their visa limit for an extra 6-10 grand more to be part of the Rolex club. The Tudor makes a lot more sense if you aren't looking to impress anyone but yourself.
There is ONLY one real Pepsi prominently featured in this video. The other is a grocery store soft drink at best. No real comparison here; the Rolex GMT is much more refined here and is simply timeless. You get what you pay for.
You get what you overpay for. :D
This Rolex is not the Pepsi, it's the Coke.
Even if the Tudor is as thin as the Rolex, there is only one master of the GMT's :)
Tudor looks like an inelegant chunky neo vintage Rolex homage. Tudor also looks expensive for a homage. With current market prices, you can get the Rolex Coke for about 8k, nearly double the price but then its the real thing. 5 digit Rolex offer great movements, lovely sizing and often great value. A similar comparison can be had with the 5 digit sub and new black bay monochrome.
That gmt has a submariner clasp.
Could be a Franken
Awesome comparison. Thank you for this!
@@stephenchung97 it’s a pleasure! 🙏🏻
You often hear "Tudor is the poor man's Rolex".....I think what those people saying this really mean is "Rolex is the insecure man's Tudor"
Like it! 😊
Yea well I won't be ditching my Rolex to put any Try Hard snowflake on my wrist...ever.
The new BB58 GMT Coke would be a better comparison!
The Tudor is dope here, but you can’t ever look at it and see originality, you’ll always know it’s not Pepsi, just the ‘obtainable’ version at low cost.
That said I love Tudor and want to buy another one, but not the Pepsi homage. Also like the crown guard, thickness and bezel a lot more on the Rolex. Hate the clasp on this Rolex though.
English Tudor vs Swiss Rolex ...I did pick the Tudor because my AD had it to purchase. No way to buy the Rolex unless I wanted to pay 2 X retail price. Tudor is actually 4 times less as expensive.
@@paulvon2378 was this neo-vintage GMT Master II a consideration in your purchase of the Tudor? Enjoy your watch! 😀
I have a big wrist. Rolex looks like a kids watch on me 😢.
I have a 7 inch wrist. Had the Tudor for about 2 months and sold it. Just seemed too bulky. I also have a GMT Master ll. No comparison in the way they fit. The Rolex is a keeper. Quality in both is equal.
Nice to hear thoughts from an owner of both. What are your thoughts on the bracelets?
@@northcoastwatches Very comparable. My GMT Master is a 2007 model.
I’m just not a fan of the crownguard.
Both great watches, the Tudor modern specification and price point makes it rather appealing. Its thickness concerns me a bit. The Rolex proportion, is a, dream come through love the specs… moreover the history and brand equity makes the Rolex a great collection piece.
