The only evolution that I would like after the 124060 is probably only have 2 lines of text at the lower side of the dial cuz everything else is pretty much perfect in this generation of Submariners.
Own a 2003 14060m it's my favorite Submariner. It's the last of the best Rolex Submariners. It has all the old school Rolex hallmarks as the 5513s. Just a little more souped up under the hood with a triplock crown and another 100m

I worn a rolex oyster perpetual airking 34mm since 2011,realy a good watch,works great with perfect acuracy,is little size made it so discret than i can use it everywhere in any situation,subway,bus,walking without feer of being robbe...realy underated model because everybody want more and more big for being sure everybody will looks you worn a luxury rolex

I love it! One of the most beautiful Oyster out there. Plain and straightforward. All indices are the same, no interrupting numbers, no date window, no BS. Pure simplicity, harmony and sophistication. And the micro second scale is the icing on the cake. And now take a look what they are offering today.

This, or the Explorer?
It’s a good question. The Air-King feels like the quintessential no frills classic Rolex. It’s uncluttered and direct, classy, versitile and in reality the 2mm difference feels very like a small difference on the wrist. No doubt the Explorer 1 is also a great option - a little sportier with the 3,6,9 dial. I don’t think you could go wrong with either!
