@@rhysmentalhealth2521 have you ever done an endoscopy or colonoscopy to see what’s wrong in your gut ? Did the doctors say anything …. I am getting similar symptoms like you can’t eat without mirtazapine and unfortunately I don’t have the money or resources to find a good doctor
You’re looking well man good to see some improvement 👍 I think it’s imprortant to recognise these wins too easy to only focus on the negatives, I’m guilty of this myself but trying to train my mind 🤞
You're looking good Rhys 😊 I've been to hell and back, calling out paramedics about three times,in and out of a and e finally under the crisis team they have been brilliant, still on mirtazopine for sleep ,back on venlafaxine and it's tough diazipam to keep me calm but only helps a bit spend most of the day pacing, I've been here before and praying for it to pass, sending love and hugs to you and everyone going through a tough time, merry Christmas one and all 💓🕊️🙏🌟
Cheers :) I really do hope things get better for you. You’re doing so well reaching out for help and I’m glad that the crisis team are helping you. It might not feel like it now but it will get easier, might take a long time but there’s a good chance it will. I never thought I’d be able to get through a December panic attack/eating disorder free but I’m sitting here today in a much better place than I was two years ago. Merry Christmas, keep fighting! You deserve peace and happiness, I’m sure you’ll get there one day despite how impossible it may feel right now 💙
@@j-uk2189 hi yes I do think you could be right,I wake up so anxious and now I have the nightmare of tapering diazipam, the doctors expect me to go straight down to five mg from ten I tried 7.5 but by day four was getting stomach cramps don't know what to do right now.💓
@@sarahperks8226 mirtazapine made me feel like someone was chasing me! And altered my blood pressure, heart rate etc. great for sleep, but a lot more negative, than positives from this drug in my experience.
I’m managing to build a decent amount of muscle right now despite the tiredness/fatigued feeling this med causes. I’d definitely say it’s harder to exercise when taking this med but it’s still possible by taking it day by day, gradually increasing exercise and getting enough sleep. Everyone is different though. There was a time when I thought it’d be impossible to workout properly on this but I’ve proven myself wrong. Might be more difficult if you’re working full time as I’m currently not working so that helps energy levels.
The 30mg of Mirtazapine has definitely been something that has helped reduce my anxiety and I’ve been panic attack free since August 2022 which is incredibly good for me. I think it’s because it helps me sleep and eat better. Other things in my life have also contributed to me getting better so I guess the meds are more of a piece of the jigsaw puzzle. I still have anxiety attacks and get super depressed due to the things I’m diagnosed with so considering adding another med to the mix but we’ll see.
@@rhysmentalhealth2521 oh you’re still on it that’s cool. I’m on it at night 15mg Then I usually wake up on it and take melatonin. But for daytime anxiety I wasn’t given anything to control it so I’ve been taking half 15mg in the morning then afternoon to sorta combat my anxiety. Seeing Dr tomorrow so hope he gives me something for daytime anxiety. How long have you been on the mirtrazipine for? Do you eat more on it? Weight gain?
I’m able to exercise a decent amount on this so I don’t see why not however it depends how it effects you individually, maybe if it makes you too tired or effects your reactions it could cause problems. But I haven’t noticed anything other than extra tiredness.
Please come back soon
Also start the other med they gave you for anxiety in the daytime. Worth a try.
Im home 24/7 too with anxiety and panic

Could it be the mirtazapine making you pace and anxious!!?

Did you get restless legs on when you first started the mirtazapine?
I’ve always had restless legs for as long as I can remember, I’m a very fidgety person. It didn’t get any better or worse on the Mirtazapine though.
Can we build muscle on mirtazapine or is it only fats
