I never ever tried making bhakri before, the thought itself was impossible for me. I tried your recipe today and it happened to be succesful. I made 10 rotis and everyone enjoyed eating the soft and yummy jowari rotis. Thanks for sharing it.
We are people who make n consume jowar roti regularly… and I’ve seen many who show others - themselves struggle- how to make them !! Your method is different from traditional jowar roti making- but definitely good- specially the ‘मसल्ना’ part !! Kudos to your skills !!
Thank you so much Chetna ji🙂 You are absolutely right that this is not the traditional method, where we make thick roti with little coarse flour. That really tastes amazing but nowadays we rarely get time to enjoy those hot roties. So, this is the easy way to make and carry the jowar roti in tiffin also as it has become essential to include jowar and other millets in our diet. Glad you liked it :) Please feel free to ask if any doubts.
Hi Manisha, I watched your video and tried this recipe today. The rotis didnt puff but came out very soft. You have brought me immense happiness! I tried jowar roti many times but it always turned hard. But your method is correct to make soft jowar roti. Stay blessed alawys dear! 😊😊😊
Tried making jowar rotis for the first time, and following your steps was up to the mark. Rotis were not only soft, but they even puffed and melt in mouth to eat. Thank you so much ❤

Dii thank you for sharing superrrrrrb recipe. I have tried it twice.i have only change one thing that i rosted it little more time. It works for me. And i have planed to go for it daily now. Thank you very much❤😊
I am from north Karnataka in this region we prepare jawar roti daily so i want to make some small correction in your recipe which will turn it more healthy dont add salt and ghee or oil in aata or on the roti.....i never did it in my 24 years of cooking experience... and its not healthy
Easy when watching, practically it is difficult for beginners. If you keep in hot pack , it becomes soggy and feel like uncooked while eating. Should eat hot.
I have been making it for years and now many of my viewers who are new to cooking are able to make it. Even my kids have tried it :) It is not as difficult as it seems. Maybe one has to give it a try 2-3 times for best results but it can be done. The roti will not turn soggy if you keep it properly covered in a thick cloth. It is just the same as wheat roti. You can do it@ansu123p
We eat jowar rotis in lunch everyday but it is reallly a struggle to make them perfect . Today i tried with your method and it just came out like wheat rotis . Perfect recipe👌
These rotis look wonderful! Thank you for sharing. I love hearing you explain the easy steps and not so easy steps… I look forward to your other recipes!!
